Topkapi Kebab House in Fife

I don’t usually review food but feel like I didn’t get my moneys worth. I ordered 2 x large hoagie wraps and they were perfect, two boys are stuffed and happy however I ordered a chicken kebab and the chicken was so thin I actually had mistaken it for Donner meat. It was lukewarm when it came which put me off as chicken has to be heated to at least 75-95 degrees to be safe to eat. Not sure if it was a busy day in kitchen or I just got the end of the kebab so it was thin but don’t think it’s fair to spend nearly 30 pounds on an order and my food isn’t hot enough and it’s barely chunks of chicken Requested a refund for the tikka.

Good delivery, excellent calzone.

Phoned the restaurant and all he could say was “we are really busy” - spent £30 on food that took over 1.5 hours to arrive and when it did it was cold. Avoid!

Order this regularly and really disappointed tonight, no chilli sauce or garlic mayo even though I ordered it and normally the salad is separate. Not sure if it was a different chef but nowhere near the usual standard

Food was nice .but wasn’t very warm .had to put in oven to heat the food up .

Food was delivered cold and pitta bread was so greasy. UNBELIEVABLY DISAPPOINTED! Sorry but won't be having any more of your food again if it keeps getting delivered cold!

All food was pretty much cold. Ordered a donner kebab and received a box full of donner meat and a box of salad but no pitta?

Food was Hot and Tasty Great Kebabs

Meal was amazing, really fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend Topkapi. Menu has something for everyone.

Doughy pizza and not particularly spicy either.

Not for me - ingredients not wholesome or of good quality. Burger tasted frozen/reheated I can only explain as carpet burger - twisted axminster. Dry, chewy and zero flavour 👎

Disappointed to find no cheese on my chips.

Asked for green peppers on a pizza specifically picked green pepper and not jalapenos but got jalapenos anyway , same scenario last time we ordered despite making it clear in the comment box that we wanted peppers not jalapenos. Also not capable of putting sauce on the chips, also mentioned in the comment box. Called the restaurant to make them aware and recivied one of the worst customer experiences of my life. Man on the phone was rude and then tryed to imply that i had the issue as i thought jalapenos were spicy. Was a regular customer but certainly not now will never be back!!!

The two small boxes of donner meat were both not worth 4 pound each but the cheese chips and donner meat was very good

Tried Topkapi twice recently, first time the food was over an hour late. Gave them another chance and again was late, would not answer their phone at all. When it arrived the chicken was pink. Totally disgusting and everything went in the bin. Avoid.

Normally have a few beers get a takeaway,some good some bad but always edible, This one was rancid Pizza Bolognaise undercooked and hardly no topping and cold, No words can describe the Mixed Mez for 2 Never again

Food arrived cold so we contacted the restaurant. Replacement food arrived 30mins later. Smaller portions and still cold. We didn't bother to complain again.

Kebab arrived with each component in separate containers. Literally a had to put together my own kebab. The meat was cold. There was no difference between the Large and Small kebabs. At least the drinks were cold...

The good was cold plus we never got any pitta bread so after I had to phone the restaurant to let them know the good was. Even colder

Our meat feast pizza was under cooked and inedible £8,50 worth of food straight in the bin, chips oozing with grease as you bite into them so not great either. Will not be ordering here from now on as this is not my first bad experience with this takeaway.

After almost 2hr wait got my Turkish burger without donner meat

Contrary to what is stated as delivery time above, that is not true, don't understand how any establishment on JUST EAT can do that. My food took 2hrs 35mins to be delivered, that was after waiting 1hr 30mins first time for food to be delivered cold, then just over another hour waiting for that to be rectified. So what started as a hungry pizza order at 6.56pm turned into a very hungry wait! During the wait I called the shop 17 times, as instructed by delivery driver to make sure my food was reordered, she was very apologetic and nice, no answer.........not an experience I want to repeat, so won't order from there again, bad customer service!

I ordered a chicken kebab and chips, I got a mixed kebab no chips and it was over half an hour late. By then I was too hungry to complain and wait for the right thing to be delivered

Chips were stone cold and sharp and crispy with hardly any cheese, donner kebab was cold and dry also.

Absolutely horrible and no where near worth the most my money

Our order was late and the food wasn't great at all. My husband's chicken kebab wasn't cooked properly and the mezze tasted funny. The kids pizza and chips was good and they enjoyed it but I wouldn't eat here again.

The kebab was pretty poor, especially for the price. One small pitta, very chewy and not very flavoursome meat. The salad was good and I like that you get both garlic Mayo and chilli sauce, but otherwise incredibly disappointing for 10£

My food still hasn’t appeared and the payment has been taken and now the shop is not answering their phone.

Overcooked lamb chops, probably reheated, very disappointed as my first experience with this takeaway was excellent but was at the weekend. I’m thinking possibly food is reheated on weekdays.

ordered a chicken and sheick calazone . was told it was 12 inch was 10 inch also there was 2 bits off chicken and 2 bits lamb . and the doe was not cooked threw very very disappointed. will not be ordering from there again .

i ordered a large kebab but there was hardly enough kebab meat to fill the 2 pitta breads i was given? definitely won’t be ordering again with the amount i got for that price.

How can it be both burnt AND cold? Delivered 90 minutes later than promised, that's how. This has happened a few times now. Their attitude it terrible.

Ordered kebabs from here and as always the quality and quantity of the food is outstanding. I’ve never had an overcooked meat in any of the kebabs which is great. Salad and sauces are fresh and plenty of it. Pizzas were also very delicious and greasy made. Worth ordering from here. Best fresh takeaway with excellent service. Highly recommend.

I bought a donner wrap that I couldn't eat due to the amount grease that dripped out of the wrapper. I couldn't even put it to my mouth as it was that greasy. I used to be a regular at this place but I don't think I will be anymore.

First time ordering from Topkapi. Ordered a Mixed Kebab and it was hands down the best kebab/ meat quality I’ve ever had from a takeaway. Top form.

Just putting a review in right now. I usually order from this place but tonight has been not good, I ordered my food at 16:10 I’m sure and I’m still waiting for it to come!

I’ve gave it one star cause I had to pick at least one to be able to leave a review. Chicken kebab and chips, easy right? Apparently not. Chicken? I’m not sure, it def wasn’t breast meat, jelly bits in it, the one bit I tried, why just one bit? Cause it was UNDERCOOKED!! Knew as soon as I bit into it that it was not cooked properly. Pink and slimy. Very very dangerous!! Have tried calling the place but no answer. Oh and on to the chips! They’ve went from undercooking the chicken to over cooking the chips. Never seen chips so brown and inedible in my life. Clearly reheated several times till all that was left was a crispy brown shell. Not good. Be wary people. I only ordered from here as the delivery time was less that the other places. I understand why.
