First visit and won't be the last nice friendly staff and excellent food

Visited Antioch with family for the first time for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. We used to visit Turkey a lot but it's been many years since we have visited and thought it would be nice to enjoy some Turkish food! Thoroughly enjoyed the Imam Bayildi! The rest of the family loved their food too. My daughter was keen to try speaking some Turkish to the chef and he was kind enough to quickly chat with her. Lovely! We will be back.

Delicious, fresh food made with quality products. An absolute delight! Staff were friendly and attentive and the chef came and spoke to us as well. You can see that he cares about his customers experience. Thank you Emin and team !

Wow wow & Wow! What a meal absolutely delicious! We had the mixed kebab the lamb was so tender as was the chicken!!! So glad we ordered the feta cheese salad such a great accompaniment! Oh have I mentioned the service!!!! Absolutely bloody brilliant 🤩

Very good food and service. Highly recommend the tender and perfecly seasoned lamb chops. The baklava on next table looked amazing as well, I’ll try it next time.

Food is excellent. But could do with a bigger portion of rice with the meal. Staff are very friendly.

Not bad, but sadly Antioch can't compare to many other Turkish, or middle Eastern restaurant because it feels like they're not really trying. The food was alright, but when grilled food comes out about 2 minutes after you finish a starter, it just can't be freshly cooked, and the bulgar wheat is just awful. It was worth a try but with this kind of cuisine, there's amazing or nothing.

First visit to Antioch, both our starter's and main courses were excellent. The lamb was well cooked and tender. The staff were friendly and attentive without being over fussy. We would be very happy to return anytime we are in Dunfermline.

Really loved this restaurant. Took the kids and had a range of kebabs, cold mezze, rice and bread. All absolutely delicious and cost around £70 for the 4 of us so not too bad. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Great meal for my sons 18th on Saturday, food was amazing, service a little slow had to keep asking but nice to see restaurant much busier than normal. Lamb chops are outstanding 👌 😋

First time here and will definitely be back. Really well priced and extremely tasty, The suvuc starter I would recommend - it is a Turkish sausage with various spices throughout. My fiancé had prawns which she throughly enjoyed. The kebabs are excellent as well.

Being honest here and not rude just telling the truth but its far to expensive for what it is ,went here for our anniversary and got mixed sharing platter £45 anyway it came to £85 with 3 cans coke i wanted to question the obvious mistake but it was our anniversary and didn't want to cause a scene the lady who served us just assumed we didn't want our change she was nice enough but just stood by the bar didn't ask if we needed more drinks etc didn't like the atmosphere one bit i don't think it will last in dunfermline, chicken was dry but to be fair lamb was nice and no turkish rice in a Turkish restaurant, not for me I stick with ashiq next door

Good food. Good menu. Lacking atmosphere - needs background music and for ambience, more atmospheric lighting.

We just visit this lovely restaurant for first time tonight , we managed to get table at 7 pm. Us and our little boy really enjoyed this little gem. Food was out of this world , lamb and chicken kebab was divine and their cold meze and kanat chicken wings were bloody delicious l. We will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. PS. The service was outstanding aswell. Please be patient with all stuff as restaurant is busy and they do work very hard. Being polite dosnt cost anything. 👏 we will be back again. Thank you

Me and my husband visited Antioch for the first time a few weeks ago. Best turkish food we have tasted in Scotland, we felt like we were back home! Food amazing, staff nice and friendly. We will be back!

Another excellent meal here. Came with a couple of friends and the service was great and the food was excellent. Really recommend the chicken shish main course and the chicken wings for starter. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

We only walked in at 5.30 pm & soo lucky to get a table by the window ! The waitresses were friendly & attentive & served us well … it got full by the time we left at 7 pm on a Friday night so good business! We chose the sharing mezze which was amazing value , and bread , & the main course was chicken wings , minced lamb , lamb pieces & chicken pieces & the marinade just made it ! We also had a helping of bulgar colourful & tasty! There were 2 sauces the yogurt was lovely but we found the other rather spicy ( please note to serve with a teaspoon as the spoons were too big for the dishes ) ! We chose a non alcoholic beer & a Turkish white wine & water to drink followed by ice cream 3 boules) & balaclava which was excellent portions just like the rest of the meal ! Thankyou to the chefs & waitresses we were most impressed & we will be back again soon !

6 friends booked for 7pm. Been here many times as we live nearby but this was the first time since mid-summer.. Always attentive friendly service and great authentic Turkish cuisine. Drinks came quickly and the fun began. I had prawns to start and selected 'Pirzola' spiced lamb chops for main. A good variety of starters and mains ordered between the 6 of us and everyone happy. Pirzola was perfect! Two hours flew by, great fun, great food and drinks.

Superb, well above those who think it's a glorified takeaway. Service is efficient and friendly,, Atmosphere, who really cares when what you want is good tasty food well presented in a clean restaurant. Let's face it you are not looking for The Ritz just good value for money. Definitely going again and taking more of our friends with us.

Excellent dining experience would highly recommend. Authentic menu slightly different to majority in Kalkan. Good wine, cocktail and non- alcoholic drinks menu. Pleasant attentive staff.

Amazing authentic turkish food. One of the best in the UK. The food was fresh and full of flavour. Juicy and erfectly served and made. Emin (The Owner) was a perfect gentlemen. Came out and spoke to the diners and made sure it was a perfect experience. The staff were so friendly and rememebered what i had ordered over the two days. A must for Dunfermline.

This was our first time trying Turkish cuisine and we had heard great things about this place so decided to give it a try. To start we had the Turkish style sausages and marinated prawns along with some bread to share. For mains we both had the mixed grill. The starters were full of flavour and meats cooked to perfection. Overall the service was great and prices reasonable for the quality of food you receive. Dunfermline is very lucky to have so many great restaurants on it's doorstep and Antioch is another we can add to our list that we will definitely return too!

The staff were excellent and very attentive.. turkish sauvignon blanc was lovely 😍 unfortunately the food was just ok..... having visited Turkey/Morocco and tasted authentic dishes in the home country.. beautiful presentation.... I would have liked more flavours to the food. Ie not enough garlic and lemon in hummus, falafel was dry and without flavour... chicken kebab needs marinated..... prawns and sauce were great!!!!! Nice bread basket but possibly more variety.......Don't assume that everyone in this country wants bland food.... celebrate Turkish flavours!!!!!! 😒 what a shame as we were so looking forward to this experience 😢😢😭😭

For authentic Turkish food this is the place to go, the staff are always on hand for anything you need, a chilled and clean atmosphere. More importantly the food was as good as it gets.

We arrived without booking a table on Friday night. (12/05/23) After a warm welcome, my wife and I ordered our meal. I had the grilled lamb chops, and my wife had the chicken tavec gouvec. The meal was absolutely fantastic. The service was amazing, very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Dunfermline has a few good restaurants, so they will have to up their game to make it our favourite, as Antioch is ours now. Our meal was reasonably priced, along with a nice bottle of chardonnay.

Would avoid this establishment, we were the only 2 people in the place and the service was terrible, starters eventually came and were average at best, lacked flavour and salad! Main courses were small with microwaved rice. Totally overpriced as well, we would have been better going to the kebab shop 2 doors up!

Only 2 people in the place, service was slow from the start, starters were mediocre at best, mains were slightly better but nothing to rave about and rice was microwaved! Won't be back and won't recommend! Very overpriced for what we got, probably better value for money 2 doors up at the takeaway.

Very friendly staff and food was fantastic. We went on a Wednesday evening and was very quiet and food was served quickly and was spot on. Will definitely be heading back when next in the area.

Very poor. Won’t be back. We booked after reading good reviews infact glowing. Tiny portions, over priced, bland flavours and I do know my Turkish foods, very slow service and it was freezing. Our party left hungry despite a large order of food and it was expensive. So disappointed. Will need to take the TripAdvisor reviews with a pinch of salt from now on. It’s doesn’t add up.

Fantastic food, great Efes Draft, chilled atmosphere, wonderful Turkish coffee. Can't wait to come back another time. Hopefully have room for dessert next time.

Had dinner with my husband here , it was our first visit and it was a spur of the moment. Restaurant was nice and cosy. We opted for Starters of Sucuk and Borek, both were tasty but quite small. For mains we chose chicken Betyi and Kofte which we shared. Food was nice. Would go back again to try something else on the menu

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here on Sunday night. Starters were delicious as was the main course of Lamb Chops and my dish of Lamb Kebabs. It was such a pity the restaurant was so quiet because the service and food is excellent. Would certainly recommend.

Tasty food with good service to back it up.

We really wanted to highlight what a wonderful meal was provided for a large group of family and friends . Emin the owner and chief chef was so helpful right from the time of booking , he advised on the dishes and was kind enough to say when we had over ordered! We were a disparate group from all over the UK , Europe and USA and everyone was impressed The food was of course as others have said was totally delicious , great for meat eaters and vegitarians . We had a range of starters, and mains included the most delicious grilled lamb that any of us had eaten. Desert was a fantastic orange and chocolate cake followed by turkish coffee. Anything that was left over was boxed up and taken home as we didn't want to waste a thing. The atmophere was warm , comfortable and friendly , and the staff could not have been kinder or more efficient Thanks so much to Emin and staff for everything

Something isn't right about some of the reviews. They would appear to be written by people with an association to the restaurant, in my opinion. How would they know what oils weren't used etc.

Visited with friends this evening. Superb service only outshone by the food. Mixed kebab was delicious as was the bread. Finished off with baklava. Will be visiting again soon!

Visited on Saturday night, group of 8. The meat is the most tender and flavoursome ever! In particular the lamb. Couldn't fault a thing. The staff are so lovlely. We visit this place every time we are in Dunfermline, and will continue to do so....

Went as a family of 3 and the staff were very attentive. We ordered the mixed platter and some prawns. They bring out bread & dips to begin with followed by a really generous meat feast. All left very happy.

Had a great dinner last night there. Waitresses were very friendly, giving very good recommendations. All the food was exceptionally good. Lamb is a really good choice if you go there.

Can't fault the food here. Killed with kindness. food well prepared and nourishing. Staff cheerful and helpful. I was sat at a wee table by the entrance and well looked after. Only thing missing: Efes Dark.

Certainly did not live up to expectation and previous reviews. The food was mediocre and not even served hot. Service OK but felt like we were being rushed as the staff needed to get home.

We came along having just searched on Google. 10/10. Can’t rate the food and service highly enough. Instantly on our list of favourite places. We will be back, very often.

Enjoyed the food good service only one draw back brandy was a bit cold when served with our coffee ☕ and the seating position was not ideal as it was in line with the door very draughty other than that we will eat there again.

We went here for the first time 2 weeks ago. We loved the food and the staff were excellent. We did the sharing meal. A little too much for us but it did give us a taste of the different dishes they do. Well worth the money
