KinKell Byre in Fife

What a great venue for a wedding, fabulous views,close to local hotels and St Andrews. The venue is very well planned out with seperate areas for the service,eating and mingling . The staff were friendly and helpfull. It was a great wedding in a great place

We stayed at the new little lodges for 1 night. it was so pretty and quiet here, we really enjoyed our stay. not far from St Andrews centre. The cabins were a bit bare looking but i think this is due to them still getting finished, the same with the grounds. The cabins are dog friendly, which we loved. It was our dogs first little holiday & he loved it. Only downfall is that there was no where to walk to on site. As its surrounded by the golf course, you can really walk to the end of the path and back which was a bit disapointing. However, we really enjoyed our stay.

Shambolic venue. Stick to weddings if that's what your good at. Security team Strike force were abominable, rude beyond belief. Students attending the May ball were treated worse than animals, it will be interesting to see if there were any serious incidents or worse. Disgusting way to treat people who have obviously spent a lot of money to be there. Such a let down. It's a real shame that profiteering was put above people's safety. Disgusted.

This is truly an awesome venue. For our Family Wedding. The Kinkell Team could not be more accommodating and helpful. This is an old Byre… look it up but the Word Byre just does not do it justice. The lighting was superb the setup was stunning . Everything the Happy Couple wanted was provided . Well done Team Kinkell - Sophie , Steveie the Lighting expert and MC … cracking job!

My nephew and his fiancee chose this venue to host their wedding and it surpassed my expectations . Loads of space in converted farm buildings for drinking ,dining and dancing until the wee samll hours.

Just another old barn from the outside but a magical wonderful world inside. The bride and groom (Amy and Craig) spent hours transforming the barn into so many wonderful spaces. Their decorations were so natural and Craig's fantastic hand crafted furniture was all round. Bar staff very good and efficient with haggis, neeps and tatties for supper there was everything to make a perfect day.

Went to a wedding there. Great time, but had difficulty hearing the ceremony because of the noise of the heaters. Good place for a large number of guests and an excellent floor for dancing. Plenty of space for mixing with friends and family at the Reception. Efficient staff and a great experience.

Attended a wedding reception here and I must admit I was blown away. Very smart ,beautifully set out and location was just wonderful looking out towards the sea . Owners require that you use their recommended bar services who are wholly independent. Happy with that as drinks coming in at only £3.50 a pint of lager or Guinness. If you’re looking to arrange a wedding in Fife this must be very high on your list.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to this stunning venue for a wedding in August. The views were out of this world and the sunny weather helped make these even more spectacular. Inside is very rustic looking with fab lighting to show this off. Food tasted perfect and staff were all friendly. The lovely couple chose well 💓

Fortunate to be invited to a fantastic wedding at this venue. Truly spectacular setting, large areas interlinking areas mean that it can be set up to individual requirements. Simply huge main hall, big enough for meal and dancing for a large wedding with no need to rearrange. The lighting makes such a large area quite intimate. The venue can be counted on to have a lasting impression for everyone who attended. Close enough to St Andrews for accommodation for all guests.

As this was my first visit to this venue I was unsure what to expect. What an amazing venue for a wedding. Not only was the view spectacular on such a lovely day, the venue itself with the large well appointed bar, large function space and breakout areas surpassed expectations.

Beautiful venue. Really personal and quirky. Friends got married here and was really great night. So cool, inside and the lighting was amazing

I got married here in August 2016. I honestly could not recommend it more! Absolutely amazing setting and perfect inside! So good if you are looking for something more personal as you have the option to do whatever you want. This is the perfect wedding if you are looking for some place rustic. It can be styled any way you wish and with a list of recommended suppliers it makes it easy. Do not have a bad word to say about this place and would recommend it to anyone.

Location, facilities, service were outstanding, the team at the Byre could not have done more Brian the manager of the bar was totally amazing all the staff went out of there way to make a special occasion even more special. Brilliant Venue

Visited for a family wedding and was very impressed. It comes as an empty space / blank canvas to be decorated any way you desire. With a bit of imagination and a lot of work it can look spectacular. Beautiful views out to sea too.

We attended a wedding here at the weekend. It's an amazing space in the perfect location. It's huge with great potential to decorate to suit your theme. Well stocked bar and good food at our event. Highly recommended wedding venue in a picturesque setting.

Fabulous venue, could not fault it in any way!! Even though it was freezing cold outside, inside was toasty warm.From views to food and drinks, this venue is 5 star.

We were at a wedding here at the weekend and have to say we had a great time .The bar was well stocked and the staff excellent.only fault was the temperature,it wasn't the hottest.

was at my sisters wedding, the venue is amazing, and all the staff go out there way to be helpful and make it so amazingly special. ButThe owner of the barn obviously does not like disabled people in any way, the movements between areas at different heights have to be made by going outside, when situations were explained he was still unhappy and car parking was a complete and utter nightmare as he attempted to direct it and just made it so much worse.On the whole it is an amazing venue but the owner is the big downside to the whole thing and brings the whole mood and atmosphere of the place right down.

Attended a wedding here, what a fabulous venue. Beautiful views, lovely, quaint barn interior. You do have to organise caterers and bar but you basically have a blank canvas to do what ever theme suits your event. We loved it and the family made the place look truly magical.

Fab venue - they have kept the decor simple and highlight the best byre bits, drawing your attention away from any rough edges. Great multifunctional space.

A beautiful coastal location, well organised with efficient, helpful and friendly staff.The driveway to the house should have some lighting

I found the Venue to be ample for Functions Bar and Food was average as all was brought in as there was no permanent Kitchen. food was in Hot cabinets and it seemed to be no facilities for cleaning, and un-hygienic . Staff done the best they could considering there was always an Old Man on a moped going back and fro ordering all guests about.. A bit of a sad O..

・St.Andrewsの中心部から自動車で10分程度の所にあるパーティースペース？的なレストラン．・味は今回のスコットランド滞在中で唯一のEnglish quality ，すなわち最悪だった．・300名超の晩餐会で一斉に皿を出さなければならなかったという事情を考慮しても，メインの鶏肉は硬すぎる上に味が単調．たまたま同席していた参加者（オーストリア人）は「待たされた挙げ句にこんなマズイものが食えるか」と言い残して帰ってしまった．・内装や雰囲気は良いのだが，味がこれでは食べるに値しない．

What an original place for a wedding - great wedding venue - noisy heaters though - huge air blowers - which in coldest, darkest winter would be annoying. The band were loud enough so ok but be careful if you are having a quieter event. Superb. And of course, there is St. Andrews to explore the next day to relieve the headache!
