Great vibe, just in the main road in Soho. The porkbelly with the roasted potatoes was DIVINE. Truly recommend it.

Fantastic food but very slow service despite it not being super crowded!

Great place to eat. Staff friendly and helpful. Great choice of menu… I had the salmon salad and it was brilliant, so tasty and cooked perfectly. My partner had the duck and that was so tasty too. Great atmosphere. Not as busy as usual… it is popular!

Old Compton Brasserie has a fantastic staff! They made sure my friend had a great meal, accommodating her dietary requirements with care. It's dog-friendly, has great cocktails, and the food was excellent. We shall be back!

Lovely brunch place in Soho with such an impressive menu! The aesthetic of the whole restaurant is superb, the decorations are stunning, even the music is great! The highlight is definitely the people working here, the staff make the experience so much more enjoyable, they are attentive, kind, efficient and friendly. The food was also superb, we ordered the scramble eggs with spicy chorizo, tempura prawns, and the protein bowl. The eggs were creamy and flavourful, the chorizo was great quality and the protein bowl was filling, and you could tell the quality of the produce was superb, especially the tofu. My only note is that the prawns weren’t pealed perfectly which made them hard to enjoy with the tempura, however they were enjoyable and not too oily. All in all, would recommend!

It was lovely to visit the brasserie, we had such a lovely time and the service was fantastic. Thank you, Mitchell and Jairo, for sure we will come back.

We enjoyed our 1st eve of having after dinner/show drinks so much that we went back the following eve & the one after that too (our last night in London)! The fab atmosphere/ambience of music, decor etc was made even better by the fun & attentive staff, who made our time there very enjoyable.

George is a legend! Had like the best service in years from George, so friendly and funny, and of course did his actual job well too. Food was broadly good...had better roasts but good enough.

Went last Sunday for a roast, food was really good, i had the pork belly and it included bottomless gravy and really good atmosphere! However, I felt compelled to write a review due to the service (George), which was fantastic! Definitely recommend 👌

Fabulous Felt right at home with our amazing waiter. Bringing flamboyance and fun to our lunch I took the wild boar sausage for some Britishness Perfection

Sat at the back of the restaurant which was so noisy we could hardly hear each other. Waiter who served us looked like he couldn't be bothered to be there. The food (fish and chips) was the worst I've ever had. The playe was served and it was filled with grease. So much of it I had to use 3 napkins to soak it up. Having to take the pots of the plate to do so, the table became greasy which then ended up on my clothes. I provided feedback to the waiter but it was like talking to a wall. Never again

What a lovely evening. We took a girlfriend of ours to the Old Compton Brasserie for dinner. Our waitress was Tamara and she was absolutely superb. Knowledgable about the wine and food. We weren’t rushed we had lovely food, absolutely first class service and a great time. With staff like Tamara and great food and ambience it’s no wonder this place is packed. A return is guaranteed.

Not thrilled by the food at this restaurant. There are far better restaurants in the SoHo area in London.

The food is really delicious and the atmosphere is really very pleasant. The servers are smiling. We spent a very pleasant evening!

I always forget to take photos whilst I’m there, but that is testimony to the incredibly nature of this venue. I would safely safe this is my favourite bar/restaurant in London. Staff are incredible, always go the extra mile and really make you feel looked after. The decor is beautiful and done fabulously. The drinks and food are superb (cocktails always great). Just overall, a really fabulous venue. The prices are classic London pricing, but for what you get here, the atmosphere, the tastes, the experience… I’d say it’s well worth it. Will continue to come back whenever I possible can to this great place.

A busy Friday night, it was packed out but there are plenty of servers, all doing a great job. Cocktails and the food were both great. The food was well cooked and stayed hot right through to the end of the meal. Would definitely eat here again.

Had a late Sunday lunch here a couple of weeks ago very friendly and efficient staff really good menu something for everyone and very sensible prices for such a nice place.

Lovely Food. Good value, particularly their lunch deal where you can get a meal and drink for £15. Excellent. I had the chicken burger which was delicious. My only gripe is that they add a service charge and it's card only.

Great atmosphere, staff delightful and attentive but the food was shocking. My friend and I had chicken pailliard with potatoes and rocket. It tasted like the chef had chucked a full cellar of salt over the dish.

A good restaurant for dinner before going to see a show at the theater next door. The cocktails and burgers are very good and plentiful, the place has style, the lounge music is good but the ambient hubbub spoils everything. The service is fast and the servers are smiling

Easy to use booking service which allowed me to amend the timing on the same day via website. Service was fast and responsive and we were checked on regularly. Toilets are downstairs and were clean when we visited. Variety of dietary options and I was surprised by the portions, they felt great value for money.

Very slow service, yes we were a group of 20 but an hour to take our food order, not good enough. Good ambience and general decor, food was ok at best.

Great impromptu find on a Saturday night. Chanced the place as we were bedding down for drinks after dinner (elsewhere) and the service was stellar! Great vibes the night we were out, great crowd, great DJ - wish I learnt my waitresses name she was awesome!! I was with friends that are from out of town and they had friends that were going to join us - the waitress ensured the kitchen stayed open long enough for these super not-on-time friends and food looked good! I didn't have any is all. Great night out if you want a vibe but not a club environment! Thanks Old Compton Brasserie - stay awesome!

We had lunch and a few drinks at the restaurant, Unfortunately the waiter named Victoria was absolutely rude to us , we didn’t receive the food that we ordered, and the drinks were late because she forgot to enter them into the system. When we didn’t receive our correct food, she argued with us that we ordered incorrectly and quite honestly it was insulting. We will not be returning.

This place never fails to impress Been here quite a few times now, love this place, cannot recommend it enough. Staff are all really welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere/vibe is great. Food menu - never had a dish I did’t thoroughly enjoyed, from the OCB sandwich (highly recommend, for a sandwich this is the best I’ve ever had), halloumi fries, eggs Benedict, chicken paillard, regular fries (comes with 3 tasty dips) and many others… everything looks and tastes great. Great cocktails menu - recommend any of the local celebrities cocktails.

One of the reasons I love this place is because the friendly atmosphere and specially because Lucas changed my life and I love him to bits , he just makes me forget all the negativity and he always put a smile on my face when I see him. I honestly haven't experienced better service. Lucas has been an extraordinary and kind waiter and has absolutely made our experience beyond and remarkable. Definetely coming back because of him!

Food Is average and pricey for the quality. The steak was terrible. The service was more like a "pub" than a restaurant type and the waiter spilled the wine on 2 of the 5 of us.

We had almost all the starters which were all incredibly delicious. My standouts being the Steak Tartare and Kedgeree Scotch eggs! The cocktails were amazing, my favourite being the spicy cucumber margarita. Our server was Bautista who was phenomenal throughout. Strongly recommend for any occasion.

Service was just so slow on this visit. Was lunchtime on a Tuesday and each order took so long. Hardly short staffed and hardly packed, wasn’t a great experience this time.

We weren't planning to eat there but we saw it and we liked the decoration. The menu is complete and everything we tried was good. It is true that from the moment we finished eating until dessert they took a long time to come. Otherwise clean services, and quiet place.

Rude staff and security not worth it

On a lovely sunny Sunday, Old Compton is the place to get brunch! The Bloody Mary’s are the right amount of spice and tang. Definitely recommended! I had the Eggs Benedict. Their eggs are silky and golden and I had to stop short of licking the plate! My husband had the chicken waffle with a fried egg on top, and as someone who thinks himself a chef, described it as glorious!

I’ve been here twice before. Once for drinks at the bar where I had the liquid tiramisu (it’s actually incredible) and another time for a friends birthday ok a Saturday where we had a set group menu. There were not many veggie options to choose from unfortunately and the option for the main I had (tempura courgette flower) I didn’t enjoy it that much. Although everyone else really did enjoy their meals. The chocolate truffle cake was amazing though. Vibes were really good and they were playing really good music. Servers were friendly and patient with us as it was a big group. I would highly recommend to get the liquid tiramisu if you’re a fan of sweet cocktails or espresso martinis.

It was my second visit and and the place did not disappoint at all. The atmosphere, the food, and the service were great. Our waitress, Giorgia, was friendly and attentive- thank you for making my friend and I feel very well looked after.

On point, I would definitely recommend, I was out with my family my Aunt's and my cousin for Dinner before an evening out to the Theatre, the staff were so nice from the front of house to the server and barmen. Compliments to the chef because the food was fire, portions were good and I had such a lovely dining experience and so did the rest of my party!
