As usual we left the place happy. We come always here because of the staff and of course food and drinks are delicious too. The place to go in Soho.

Great food at a good price for central London.

Very welcoming place. Good but not great food. The sirloin steak was well cooked but the cut of the meat wasn't that great. Very good miso cabbage. The others weighed royal eggs and seemed satisfied.

Myself and my husband had pork belly, not much pork on it mostly fat, wasn’t very impressed definitely won’t be going back there.

Had the loveliest meal here for my birthday. The food and cocktails were delicious and the service was fantastic. We all really enjoyed our evening and would recommend to everyone.

Superb brasserie, it was the magnificent decor that attracted us to stop for a drink and in the end we wanted to stay and eat there because the service was top notch and the atmosphere too. We met a waitress who spoke French, I think she was the only one in London that we enjoyed meeting, very pleasant. We ate very well. We had a good evening, thank you. Very lively place, pleasant staff, Good music, Good burger, fries. I recommend it to people who like to eat with music because it is very loud.

The food didn’t really taste like anything if I’m honest. It was £78 for a burger , salmon and two beers.(Including tip.) Also the fact I was sitting practically on the other tables knee didn’t help either. It’s a visually appealing place, not comfortable and 100% wouldn’t recommend the food.

We have been before to Old Compton and always loved it. Today the service for food was bad though, not attentative at all. The food is good, good options and well prepared! We will go back just for the cocktails, they are made with great love and care ❤️

We had a lovely lunch, the service from start to finish was exemplary. Waiting for the Maitre De we were told she’d be with us soon by one of the waiting staff. We were really looked after by our waiter, the food was delicious and a perfect temperature. Importantly, we were asked about allergies. A return visit is a must!

I had a stupendous experience at Old Compton Brasserie. Despite arriving just in time for the last calI, I didn't feel rushed to order. I need to shoutout Kate, who provided excellent service. She went into meticulous detail about what was gluten free on the menu (the majority, including a separate fryer!), and ensured my entire meal was safe. She was overall patient, kind, and very helpful. As for the food - where do I even begin? I got the fish and chips, miso cabbage, and Steak Frites. All were wonderful. As someone with gluten intolerance, I felt truly spoiled by the abundance of choice of things in which I actually wanted to indulge. The fried fish was - no joke - one of the best I've had in the UK, no competition. The batter was crispy, the fish was flaky, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The accompanying tartar sauce was exquisite, and I also enjoyed the mint mushy peas and curry. The chips weren't traditional 'chips' (thick and fluffy), and were instead 'fries' (thin and crispy), but they still tasted good. The Steak Frites was yummy. I had it done medium rare, and the chef did exactly that. The béarnaise sauce suited it perfectly. It came with the same chips as the fish and chips. I thoroughly enjoyed them. The miso cabbage was great. I could've eaten ten more portions of it easily. The atmosphere is upscale brasserie. There is ample seating, and I appreciate the the music isn't too loud. In general, this is definitely a place to check out.

Great place for a pre theatre dinner. You need to book. We arrived for out table at 5.30pm and the place was buzzing. Great atmosphere and vibe but didn't feel rushed or have to wait too long for attention either. Good sized portions and fabulous Prosecco. Recommended!

Beautiful meals (Salmon with the creamed spinach side and posh ham egg and chips). Both superb, tasty and value for money. Desserts (home made truffles and sticky toffee pudding) were also 👌 Relaxed atmosphere, variety of drinks available and good location.

We had coffee and warm sourdough which was a huge helping and very tasty.

Definitely not out of Compton… This restaurant is magical, it has the power of a unicorn🦄. I eat beef once a week because there’s a compound my muscles need for the gym… My goto meat-cheat-meal is a burger 🍔 & Peroni beer 🍺 . The Compton Smashed Bacon Burger blew my mind. It was so delicious, I completely forgot I was on a hot date with a beautiful man… But let’s face it food doesn’t float to the table, even in a restaurant powered by the energy of a unicorn 🦄 Or does it? Very good food. Not really cheap but decent for the area. A bit to little space. Must be nice when not so busy. Excellent staff.

This is a lively and can be very busy place and it was on Saturday afternoon when we went. However come at that did not detract from the food or the service both of which were very good much to my surprise {full-stop} Our first waiter was extremely good and the second guy was pretty good too {full-stop} We will go again but we will go at a time when it is likely to be quieter

I can happily recommend this restaurant in the heart of Soho London. I met with a group of friends (14 of us) for Sunday lunch and they looked after us very well. The food is good, most of us had three courses and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The staff are great, very attentive and friendly. I noticed how well they interacted with other tables, singing happy birthday to a young woman and clearly having fun. It has a nice vide and I will definitely be going there again when I'm in London.

Benjamin looked after my table for my friend's birthday. Was so charismatic and attentive with his service. The food was not the most inspiring but still tasted good and the music in there is way too loud for a dining venue. It's more like eating in a night club.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Second time going and it was just as good. The bread is amazing and some of the best shortbread in the jammy dodger dessert, that I've had. I also had the protein bowl and it was very good although a tiny bit too salty. A good price too for the quality. Definitely recommend! Been here a few times now and each time is great, my boyfriend tried a couple of cocktails too this time; Frances Bacon and Liquid Tiramisu and he loved both. The chicken burger I had, was very good.

Food could’ve been tastier. Jamon croquettes it’s actually a big croquette, pretty plain like most starters. Burattina was delicious, I’ll give that 5 stars. Service was great. Cocktails were pretty watery and we decided to go to another place.

I visited for cocktails and decided to try a small dish of starter to go with them. I ordered the beetroot cured salmon and a beef burger. The salmon was fresh, with a nice balance of flavors from the beetroot cure, making it light and refreshing. However, the restaurant was quite loud due to the music, so it was hard to have a conversation without raising our voices. Because of the noise, we each only had one drink before deciding to leave. Despite the noise, I enjoyed the overall atmosphere and will definitely return to explore more options on the menu. (I’ll plan to go for brunch another day!)

Top notch place! I went there the other day with my sister who was visting, was not really sure what to expect. But as sooon as we enetered we were treeated by a lovely host. Don't remember her name, but she seemed like she was some type of Polish maybee. The food was jamazingg and energy was great, 5/5 would reccomend this gem

I dined here with a group of 12 on a busy Saturday night, and the place was packed! The atmosphere was buzzing, and the music added to the fun, lively vibe. I personally tried the mac and cheese balls and the smash burger—both were absolutely delicious. Everyone in our group was happy with their meals, making it a fantastic night out overall. We visited this restaurant for lunch, drawn by the glowing reviews about the food, particularly the sticky toffee pudding. We ordered one vegan dish and one meat option. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. Firstly, the service was notably slow, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. The food itself was quite average, lacking the flair we were hoping for. However, the biggest disappointment was the sticky toffee pudding, which was far from the indulgent treat we expected. Overall, it was an underwhelming dining experience.

This place is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is so nice, very good drinks, the staff is friendly and attentive. The food was also good with reasonable prices.

My son and I went for dinner at Old Compton Brasserie before going to the theatre. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. It was a warm night and the windows here all open and everyone seemed to just be enjoying themselves. Our waiter, George, was very nice. Very attentive and helpful, really made it a lovely experience. We will definitely be going again!

One of the most convenience all round venues that does a perfect balance of bar and restaurant. Equally amazing food and drinks for a reasonable price considering being in the center of Soho. All staff are fun and their to ensure you’re taken care of.

Came here for a couple of cocktails with my husband. The place is gorgeous inside and outside. We were immediately drawn to its warm interior. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive, and I couldn't ask for a better service . Highly recommend a visit.

Lovely brunch place in Soho with such an impressive menu! The aesthetic of the whole restaurant is superb, the decorations are stunning, even the music is great! The highlight is definitely the people working here, the staff make the experience so much more enjoyable, they are attentive, kind, efficient and friendly. The food was also superb, we ordered the scramble eggs with spicy chorizo, tempura prawns, and the protein bowl. The eggs were creamy and flavourful, the chorizo was great quality and the protein bowl was filling, and you could tell the quality of the produce was superb, especially the tofu. My only note is that the prawns weren’t pealed perfectly which made them hard to enjoy with the tempura, however they were enjoyable and not too oily. All in all, would recommend!

We enjoyed our 1st eve of having after dinner/show drinks so much that we went back the following eve & the one after that too (our last night in London)! The fab atmosphere/ambience of music, decor etc was made even better by the fun & attentive staff, who made our time there very enjoyable.

George is a legend! Had like the best service in years from George, so friendly and funny, and of course did his actual job well too. Food was broadly good...had better roasts but good enough.

Went last Sunday for a roast, food was really good, i had the pork belly and it included bottomless gravy and really good atmosphere! However, I felt compelled to write a review due to the service (George), which was fantastic! Definitely recommend 👌
