German Doner Kebab in Leicester

I have normally ordered from this shop and it’s been fine ‘ today however we ordered mixed meat and chips , as it was buy one get one free offer ! Withint half an hour of eating myself and family we in extreme pain ‘ I fainted . When I can around I was vomiting and in pain . I had to go to bed . Belly was in such agony until I vomited everything up ! Definitely a food hygiene issue . Not happy !

This one in Leicester is absolutely disappointing. They make faces if you ask for discount, serve the smallest sizes and turn their backs if you have a question after the order is complete. Absolutely hated it. I wish they improve their service and portion size.

Delivery time changed and food is cold

i paid extra for large mixed and definitely did not get that, it’s the second time that i have been unsatisfied with how my order has been. I want to know if something will be done about this.

ordered extra mixed meat got single portion as well as paying extra for meat I also paid extra for stone cold chips that had to go in the bin along with s cold kebab

ORDERS ARE ALWAYS WRONG!!! People working there does have some issues with reading??? You want only spicy? You gonna get mix. You want only yogurt souce? Expect it will be only spicy. What is wrong with people working in there???? You order to be delivered to the table? They just gonna start shouting "kebab readyyyyyyy" and expect you to read from the crystal ball that its actually yours. What a disgusting customer service. Never coming back again.

I’m a huge fan of German Doner Kebab! The customer service is always exceptional. The team goes above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied. As for the chicken doner, it’s always perfectly cooked with just the right balance of seasoning. I love the freshness of the ingredients and the flavors of the sauce. Every visit has been a great experience!

Ordered a kebab meal for delivery, less than a mile from the shop. I’ve tried GDK before and while they are expensive for a kebab, they’re a but of a change to standard kebabs. Anyhow, the food gets to me and it is absolutely cold. I’m not a fussy eater whatsoever and can and do expect food to have lost some heat during a delivery. But this was stone cold and as you can imagine, disgusting, of course the driver had gone by the time I got the package open. So, I contacted GDK about the mess up. Didn’t think much of it, assumed they’d reimburse me or throw a voucher to give them another chance. They emailed saying the restaurant would be in touch after three days. I wait five days, still nothing, so I get in touch again, pretty miffed at this point. I get another automated message and then days after this a semi-automated message and a voucher for less than half what I paid for the inedible slop delivered to me. So, for a £10-15 mess up on their end that could have been sorted very easily with either my money back or even a roughly equivalent voucher, GDK opted for a 1 star review, loss of reputation and for me to warn everyone against spending money at this restaurant. Trust me, go elsewhere, the kebabs here are overpriced, not as good as local ones and if you request delivery, cold on arrival. Fuming.

U got a guy here who has no clue how to talk to customers. He asks what I want when I tell him he says wait when I wait then he says why don't u say ur order. And he mumbled in his own language I asked him what u saying I don't understand. He said nothing

I ordered and prepaid for my extras and I got nothing apart from red bull and feta cheese in my diner kebab. My spicy curry ketchup pot was missing as well as curry spice, flaming spice and jalapenos. And also another thing I did not like the döner kebab and curry fries as they were both cold. Taste was not nice because of the coldness. I ordered acouple of weeks ago and you did the same mistake. If this continues I will stop eating from GDK.

The food sounds and looks great on the menu but nothing like what you get! Soggy chips, cold doner and the portions are tiny. Definitely sticking to my local kebab shop who give out warm, big portions, fresh and decently priced.

Came for food and struggled to get in as delivery drivers had blocked door with their bikes. Food was good but staff lacked care for blocked doorway. Not good especially if there was a fire as this is a hazard.

The delivery arrived on time, although I wasn’t given the option to select while reporting. The driver seemed quite comfortable, as he didn’t bother to step out of the car, leaving me to walk all the way to him. Definitely an interesting take on customer service.

Delicious kebab in a crispy bun. Juicy chicken, fresh vegetables. Nice service. The order was completed quite quickly and brought to the table. Possibility to order from vending machines. GDK can also be praised for its delicious spring rolls with meat.

I recently visited [Germen Doner Kabab Leicester] and had an extremely disappointing experience with their doner meat. The meat was stale, dry, and had an off taste, indicating it wasn’t fresh. The texture was tough and unappetizing, making it clear that it had been sitting out for too long. Additionally, the portion size was surprisingly small for the price, leaving me hungry and unsatisfied. To make matters worse, the staff seemed indifferent when I brought up the issue. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food or decent portions.
