Best Kebab in Leicester, the food is amazing. Shuntush was nice and really helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

Food is disgusting not warm and tasted bitter we calld in store for garlic sauce instead of chilli the man said ok and did not send disappointment

Shantush was the greatest guy on the till, and even while serving us food. He made sure we had everything, and there was nothing which we needed during our meal. I’ll give him 10/10 for the services and his efforts!

Todays review 24/4/25 You can see my previous review below I can wholeheartedly say nothing has changed in this place. It is still abysmal literally ordered today as the last resort as it was the quickest delivery and I was given mouldy buns for my doner burger. I don’t know what else to say this place just does not value its customers in any way shape or form. *PREVIOUS REVIEW* Ordered from here couple of hours ago absolutely outraged at the quality of the Meat. Doner meat needs to be thinly sliced not chunks of crap. This is beyond edible I would not even serve this to a stray dog. I do not know how the director has not picked up on this store its embarrassing. The brand is being let down by the Leicester store and service and quality is abysmal and needs to be looked into. I have personally messaged Farshad the director of GDK. Let’s hope this gets resolved as nobody should be eating this crap that is being served. £31 down the drain.

First Eva the counter lady was amazing did brilliant job served well., was helpful asked if she can do anything while I was eating as well. She could be a manager or if some higher up manager see this comment give raise or bonus. Go smile and 10/10 service. In terms of food cooks to fresh , good condiments and good cheese fries love it , both spring beef and chicken was good very fresh food . HALAL as well even tho I’m not Muslim just for reference. Will go there again when I go to city center highly recommend. Also very fast delivery times I was really happy as I went in between my hourly break

Didn’t even get the food and when I tried to explain to the driver where my address was he kept hanging up. And then the refund took ages

I saw my delivery time changed several times when I checked the tracking on the map the courier had gone the opposite direction to me obviously for other deliveries which he confirmed reluctantly when he finally arrived with the cold and soggy food

Eva was great with her service and we received very quickly and we dug in within five minutes of ordering our food. The burger was nice and the chips were crispy on the outside whilst being fluffy on the inside. They also had a slight kick from the paprika powder but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

GDK is some of the best donnor ive had. I go there every other week and always get the best service. Highly recommend.

I have normally ordered from this shop and it’s been fine ‘ today however we ordered mixed meat and chips , as it was buy one get one free offer ! Withint half an hour of eating myself and family we in extreme pain ‘ I fainted . When I can around I was vomiting and in pain . I had to go to bed . Belly was in such agony until I vomited everything up ! Definitely a food hygiene issue . Not happy !

This one in Leicester is absolutely disappointing. They make faces if you ask for discount, serve the smallest sizes and turn their backs if you have a question after the order is complete. Absolutely hated it. I wish they improve their service and portion size.

i paid extra for large mixed and definitely did not get that, it’s the second time that i have been unsatisfied with how my order has been. I want to know if something will be done about this.

ORDERS ARE ALWAYS WRONG!!! People working there does have some issues with reading??? You want only spicy? You gonna get mix. You want only yogurt souce? Expect it will be only spicy. What is wrong with people working in there???? You order to be delivered to the table? They just gonna start shouting "kebab readyyyyyyy" and expect you to read from the crystal ball that its actually yours. What a disgusting customer service. Never coming back again.

Ordered a kebab meal for delivery, less than a mile from the shop. I’ve tried GDK before and while they are expensive for a kebab, they’re a but of a change to standard kebabs. Anyhow, the food gets to me and it is absolutely cold. I’m not a fussy eater whatsoever and can and do expect food to have lost some heat during a delivery. But this was stone cold and as you can imagine, disgusting, of course the driver had gone by the time I got the package open. So, I contacted GDK about the mess up. Didn’t think much of it, assumed they’d reimburse me or throw a voucher to give them another chance. They emailed saying the restaurant would be in touch after three days. I wait five days, still nothing, so I get in touch again, pretty miffed at this point. I get another automated message and then days after this a semi-automated message and a voucher for less than half what I paid for the inedible slop delivered to me. So, for a £10-15 mess up on their end that could have been sorted very easily with either my money back or even a roughly equivalent voucher, GDK opted for a 1 star review, loss of reputation and for me to warn everyone against spending money at this restaurant. Trust me, go elsewhere, the kebabs here are overpriced, not as good as local ones and if you request delivery, cold on arrival. Fuming.

I’m a huge fan of German Doner Kebab! The customer service is always exceptional. The team goes above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied. As for the chicken doner, it’s always perfectly cooked with just the right balance of seasoning. I love the freshness of the ingredients and the flavors of the sauce. Every visit has been a great experience!

U got a guy here who has no clue how to talk to customers. He asks what I want when I tell him he says wait when I wait then he says why don't u say ur order. And he mumbled in his own language I asked him what u saying I don't understand. He said nothing
