Disappointed. Iced mocha was lukewarm, cinnamon bun was cold and stale. Staff were friendly, but not the most welcoming vibe. Maybe it's fine if you're a struggling single parent and need to feed your kid, or need to get away from a crisis, but don't expect to come here and leave feeling satisfied

Always lovely, fresh food. Reasonably priced and good service. Yes it can be a tight squeeze, but not sure what more can be done as it’s a deli as well as an eatery. I go once a week and would highly recommend.

This place is a joke. Charged me 6.50 for a halloumi kebab and what came was disgraceful. I told the staff and they shrugged their shoulders and did nothing. This place should be avoided at all costs.

It was rubbish.... We called in for some light lunch, four of us. It was around 2pm ish so the offerings were pretty thin. I had ploughmans sandwich, the bread dry...as in left-out dry, filling was awful, I left most of it, others had scone with clotted cream, they were also half eaten, saying the cream tasted 'synthetic ' the tea was cold. All in all it was a expensive waste of our lunch! We definitely won't be going there again anytime soon. We didn't actually make a complaint whilst we were there, as I had guest's and didn't want to make a scene, that being the only reason why I didn't complain.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, caters for vegetarian and vegan. Had a lovely wrap and tortilla chips. The wrap was very tasty with lots of complimentary flavours, I had a lovely mug of tea. It was quick service. They do lots of different coffees. I have had great bacon sandwiches for breakfast their with the lovely fresh granary bread.

To be honest, I would normally not go into a cafe like this! It appears scruffy from outside, but once going in you realise this is a statement!! The look is quite 1960s, the food is excellent! I had the ploughman's which was very good and good value for money as well. My daughter had a kebab which looked superb and she thoroughly enjoyed. Whilst the food was great, the coffee was only OK.. shame, but even so I shall be going back!!

The food here is so so. The workers don't use gloves to open up an avocado which is not hygiene and whatmore is using their hands making the Sandwiches not too bad. Just that the shop needs more tidying up and of course the service here needs to be improved.

Visited here on Saturday from a recommendation from a friend. I really enjoyed my time here, the food was amazing (we ordered one of your antipasti platters) presentation was great and enough to fill 2 hungry people. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome, they also offered appetisers which was pleasant. Overall we were satisfied with our stay and will be back soon!

While my gingerbread latter was nice I feel that the cafe must of downsized since the pictures were taken as it was quite cramped inside. This made it rather uncomfortable as everyone was in earshot especially in absence of music. The cups used were also very cheap which I don't think was representative of the cost of the drink. Also, while I cannot blame the cafe there was a small child that let loose inside, throwing cutlery and food about the place, This has not reflected on my score but merely serves as a warning to others if they wish to avoid their coffee break being ruined.

It pains me to say - I'm beginning to go off Deli Flavour rapidly. The concept is great & the customers are there. Situated in a really pleasant area, it WAS a real gem a couple of years ago, but I can't help feeling it's getting tired and management have got more than complacent. It all just feels really unloved. There doesn't seem to be any consistency with quality of product anymore - ordering is like Russian roulette the last year I've been in - 'will it be nice today or not', 'will I get what I ordered or will I get a wrap instead of a ciabatta/white bread instead of brown', 'will there be everything advertised in my wrap/sandwich/panini or will I be missing something(s)'?! It's so hit & miss that I'm beginning to question whether it's worth the effort or price. Customer service is EXTREMELY poor. Not only do I think staffing levels may need revising (as I've constantly had to wait between 15 -30 minutes for a single order on days when customer footfall has been low) but I get the feeling staff need to be sent on a BASIC customer service course (or equivalent) as even being acknowledged seems too much to ask for some days! The individuals working here, I'm sure, are all lovely people but customer focused roles requires staff to interact with customers not alienate them & give off a sense that it's a foreign concept :( even management lack in enthusiasm to converse with they paying customer! I feel that there shouldn't be a website if it isn't updated regularly - what's the point? I also wouldn't recommend buffet orders - as we've had DF for our works Christmas buffet two years in a row now & this year will be the last. Sandwiches where dried out, Falafel crumbled apart & wraps were WET & soggy?!!! Having read previous reviews nothing I have mentioned here is evidently new. Maybe it's falling on deaf ears? I hope not. Prior to this notable change in attitude/atmosphere/approach the deli had been a favourite lunchtime spot for myself, friends & family over the years. We lived a good 25 miles away so when we decided to head out Leicester way for lunch DF was always top of our list. With such a high opinion of the deli, I recommended it to loads of my work colleagues, when I started working up the road, & we've been coming on a regular basis for the past year or so. Unfortunately, this is to the deli's detriment as it has highlighted all of the above & put us off. This feedback is not to be taken as an attack but more as constructive criticism (due to disappoint that it's not what it used to be) in the hope that management recognise where they've started going wrong, dust themselves off & start picking themselves back up again, as it would be a real shame if we loose this place because of lack of trying & loyal customers loosing reason to come. Small businesses really need all the love & support they can get - which I think this deli has - PLEASE READ YOUR FEEDBACK - small changes/improvements will make a BIG difference. And I think it's evident from majority of reviews here that people DO want you to do well & want to visit (minus the issues!).

Fantastic deli with great food, coffee, service and quirky furniture. Great range of stock too. I had a cappuccino made with organic milk and my little girl had a cheeky cheese sandwich from the kids menu. Great music in the background and a fine array of local craft beer and cider. Visited today with my mum and toddler, we asked a gentleman there if they had any highchairs and, without even looking up, he just said 'No' in a very rude manner. It was clear that we were not welcome and we left immediately. I understand that some places do not want to encourage children in their establishments but his attitude was uncalled for. We will not be going back, especially as there are so many better alternatives in the area.

Myself and work collegues frequently visit for our lunch particuarly favouring the mexican wrap. When we went in today to order 8 wraps/panninis we have been left extremely disappointed. For a start the service was so slow, after a 15 minute wait when we were given our bag of food it was realised that they had forgot to prepare one of our paninis. So another 10 minutes went by whilst we waited for these in which case our food was getting cold. Once we got back to the office we were disappointed to discover the paninnis we have previously enjoyed had been changed to a brown bread toastie, we werent advised of this when we ordered them and they were extremely dry. The mexican wrap tasted very different to previous with the seasoned chicken being substituted with plain chicken. The salsa previously enjoyed was also different and pretty much just like tomato. The food isn't cheap at Deli Flavour with 7 sandwiches costing us nearly £35 so I would expect a much better service and quality of food. Overall not a good experience and won't be rushing back.

Spent £40 two weeks ago on a variety of wraps & paninis; the mexican wrap being excellent. We placed our order today for lunch (around £30) which was taken as usual. It was not until we got back to the office that we found the Mexican wraps had plain chicken inside with a new salsa (as quoted after complaining) which looked alot like a plain tomato; so disappointing - flavourless, soggy, an unrewarding £4.15 lunch. The paninis were infact Rye bread, as the abrupt shop assistant advised when we rang to complain...apparently they have replaced paninis with Rye bread which is much better for you, umm, nice to know we al have a choice in what we wish to eat. The girls attitude on the phone was that of unhelpfulness, advising that the website prices are not updated and that she would have to get back to us, slamming the phone down! Probably around £120 of business from 6 disappointed, still hungry workers!

This a nice cafe, but it's slightly on the expensive side. It has a lovely Italian atmosphere which I really like. I would usually go there to buy a mug of their hot chocolate (delicious!) but they serve cakes and food also, and breakfast if you need it. The only bad experience I had with this place is when I bought their sausage roll - I had to throw it away it smelt so strong and was packed with a lot of onion. Otherwise, I would recommend coming here!

Deli Flavour is situated in a quiet and pleasant parade of shops in the Stoneygate area of Leicester. It is one of 3 or 4 similar establishments situated here.A warm friendly welcome was to be had, the food was very nice too. They also carry a good range of deli foods to buy, some sourced locally in Leicestershire, some speciality foods from such as Italy. There were a dozen or so customers eating in on the day of our visit, which we thought was a good sign, especially as its not on a main road and maybe not too well known by many. All in all, worth a visit

My recent visit to Nando's was extremely disappointing. Despite the restaurant being far from busy, my friends and I were ignored upon arrival and left waiting for 15 minutes. When we attempted to find assistance, the manager, Ben, rudely instructed us to wait to be seated. After an additional 10-minute wait, we had to approach him again, only to be met with dismissive behavior and a poor attitude. This was particularly frustrating as we had a toddler and a 9-month-old baby with us, and we were all very hungry. Upon expressing our dissatisfaction, the manager asked us to leave ( Ben), stating we were not welcome. This experience was incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I would not recommend visiting this establishment.
