Horrendous service. Staff totally uninterested. No interaction from them when entering, no menus offered. Took ages to get drinks, never returned with sugar for a coffee or even to take food order. Eventually got up and left - it was not busy! Avoid - If I could give no stars I would!

Brunch visit. Decor is cool with Japanese motifs & lanterns hanging from ceiling. Seating is communal bench, tables & bar styles. Ordered Classic Eggs Benedict with side of Grandad's sausages. This was superb, sausages were to die for, very tasty. Daughter had the Breakfast Stack again very fresh and tasty. Breakfast Tea was strong & hot. Service was quick & the place was popular.

Ahhh the breakfast was amazing! Proper sausages and perfectly cooked eggs, couldn't fault it at all.

Many thanks to all at The Rising Deer for helping us celebrate Dad's 90th Birthday. Special thanks to Caroline who took the booking and dealt with the various queries re food allergies and dietary needs before and on the day. All 20 of us were very happy with our meals, especially those that had Cod and Chips, and Steak Pie and Chips. There was a slight issue when we found there was no Lemon Meringue Pie, which is my sister's favourite, however she was very happy with the Black Forest Gateau and said it was probably the best she's ever had. Many thanks to all.

A fantastic cafe with real food. There is a great selection of food and drink to choose from at a really reasonable price and also tastes great. There is a good amount of seating and service is very efficient.

The Sunday 3 Course Set Meal was Great! Quality Food, Quality Service. Would highly recommend.

Our first time trying this restaurant. Excellent food and nice efficient staff. Probably best meal we have had in a long time. Well done to the chefs. Food was hot too and nice fresh salad leaves with starter !! Thoroughly recommend

Delicious food as always here at Ellie’s. The restaurant is always comfortable and with beautiful surroundings but at the moment with the Christmas Decorations it looks absolutely magical. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend dining here.

Closed during open hours 03.10.24 8pm Very disappointed, especially while grab friends to try new place.... Not recommended

ordered Meal Deal for 1 which was poppadum, chicken pakora, rice and lamb Rogan Josh, you also get dip, salad and onion chutney included in meal deal... also ordered a Lamb Kadie.. delivered within the hour...Unpacked and we have 3 poppadum to nibble on, enough of pakora for 2 to have a few each. Main course tubs were packed, flavours were great, lamb was amazingly soft, rice doubled in size when you dish it up, more than enough to feed 2 people with some left over as a snack the next day (do put in any requests in the notes, they do follow them)... well worth the the price...

Tucked away in the beautiful part of London’s Knightbride, Petrus is an elegantly presented restaurant that provides not only an excellent dining experience, but also an array of exquisite dishes that left my mouth watering. From the tangy starters to the rich and delightful desert, there wasn’t anything from the menu that I was disappointed by. A special mention must go to the staff, particularly to Angelo, who went above and beyond to make our time even more special.They were not only attentive, but also friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. Thank you for an excellent dining experience that my family and I will treasure forever.

Phenomenal setting for any special occasion. The food and service are excellent. Some of the best food and wine I have ever had.

Delicious food and great service. Had a fantastic night and can't wait to return to try more of the tasty offerings. The best 'old fashioned ' cocktail aswell!!

Visited prior to going to the theatre. Lovely surroundings. Fodd was excellent. Nice thought with vegetarian dishes for a change as well. Great choice of beverages to choose from. Staff were polite and attentive. Overall we'd definitely go back next time we're in the area
