Piano Kensington in Kensington and Chelsea

God what an awful place. I’m sure the location has changed ? It used to be so fun on the high street and now it’s literally like a morge in the hotel. Just save your money and go somewhere else

We went here on a Friday and delighted in Mauro's talents. He is a great singer, wonderful pianist, and incredibly funny! The staff on drinks and food are also amazingly attentive and funny! Great night out.

Midweek visit. Love a piano bar so was keen to drop in whilst travelling alone. Tough gig with it being so quiet, but nonetheless the pianist was pretty poor and vocals off key. Bar staff was good and on top of things. Would like to see on busier night.

Always a good night to be had at the Piano. Only 4 stars as it is a tad expensive and the table service can be a bit slow at times

On Saturday 21st September, I came here with my partner to have some drinks after dinner. As we were going through the menu, the pianist made a "joke" about Trump (basically called him stupid). We got up and left the place (which anyway seemed overrated), and went elsewhere to have our drinks. Everyone is of course entited to his/her own opinion, but when you are a pianist you are meant to play piano, not an activist role alienating part of the audience with your bad political jokes.

I came for the music and cocktails, live music was great. Cocktails and service was subpar. If you go, order wine or beer from the bar.

the server was fantastic (young tall guy with curly hair), pianist was a laugh and cheerfully played nearly everything we asked for (except for Chopin) and great experience. More people should come!

I have celebrated my birthday yesterday evening with couple of friends. The pianist have accommodated all my requests which was brilliant and Giovanni have been wonderful. I definitely go back again!

We were looking for some entertainment with our drinks out and this was a great place. The service was excellent. The piano player did a great job taking requests and being entertaining as well. A great find!

I love this place! We sit around a table, send in our requests and keep our dancing shoes and vocal cords ready for a fun, inclusive, warm night!

Really talented pianist/singer, long time since I heard someone that good. A bit too much of drunk men, but I guess that is to be expected some times. Very nice place overall!

Visited here last night and found the guy behind the bar very rude. We were about to sit at a table and he shouted across the bar, shook his fingers at us and told us not to sit there. We had an overpriced glass of fizz and a beer. Definitely won’t be returning!

Zero atmosphere, nasty cocktails, expensive, surly service. Don’t waste your time or money. A big disappointment for pre birthday dinner drinks.

We always have the best night when we come to the piano bar. The piano man was fab and we danced late into the night! Absolutely fabulous place to go with friends for a guaranteed great night out.

Horrible welcome - rude ‘bouncer’ made to feel like a criminal. The bar itself is fine if you’re not from London but absolutely disgrace service on entering a venue in a nice hotel.

Lovely bar , amazing atmosphere

Piano man knows all the songs and will do requests. Nice atmosphere once you get past the bouncers and a small section where you can get away from the noise a bit if you want. Drinks are a bit pricey. Actually a lot pricey. It is in Kensington though, in a nice hotel, and the man will play you your song 🤣 Bouncers are a bit miserable. Chill a bit guys. Wasn't 100% sure they understood English either as they looked a bit blank when we asked them questions? Expect a bit better from a hotel with doormen in top hats. Maybe some smile therapy wouldn't go amiss....

Really nice bar with live piano music, you can request songs. Only problem is it is ridiculously expensive. Make sure you take out a small loan before visiting.

We were told at reception that this was the place to go for evening entertainment at the hotel. On the three occasions we tried throughout the night (5pm, 9pm and midnight on friday) the bar was closed each time...

It's not what it used to be! The location has changed and while the vibe is alright the space is very uninspiring. It feels flat and lost its magic.

Came here for a birthday and had an enjoyable night. The space is nicely spaced out without being overly crowded. The pianist takes in song suggestions which made the evening more fun. Drinks are certainly overpriced but that’s not surprising for a bar in a hotel.

This is my first time in London and thought this was great!!! The pianist was great, songs were great.. drink and food were good. I can't believe more people weren't here. I would highly recommend this spot.

Best night we had in London! Popped in for a drink and to hear some piano music…ended up there for 3 hours singing along at the piano with Adam and Bob! Great service, excellent talent and the most welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Which I think is great :) 3. Person who plays on the piano is really talented! Can play any song, super impressed with quality!! 4. I arrived there with big group of friends and we had table booked, no issues with booking and all was smooth! 5. Sooo booking was for Halloween night, so since it is a special night was a bit worried that we will lose the table because we were late… manager was kind enough to to keep table for us 🙏🙏🙏 6. Great service, really nice people around :) Love this place, will be back for sure!

I’ve been there Friday and Saturdays only. It’s such a fun place to visit. Great atmosphere and staff are very friendly. Super recommend.

Credit to the staff, food is great, but the music is just trash, as is the atmosphere: too loud, obnoxious, not what is advertised at all, plus the beverages- even for kensington - are overpriced , but the selection, it has to be said, is not too shabby.

A small place in a good location with a great atmosphere on a Saturday night, let down by abrupt and rude bar staff. The piano player was excellent and really added something unique compared to other local bars. For that alone I would recommend a visit.

Lovely bar with with live music and very lively atmosphere. Its open till 12 pm and people are dancing and having lots of fun.

I like this place, chilled and really good for a nice night out on a friday or Saturday night. Some days you have to make a reservation as it can be packed at times. I love going there everytime I'm in London

it's a fun place to go as you can come up to piano player and request any song you want. my only disappointment is that onlt a few people can get around and actually see that player properly as it is a long room and piano is far in a corner.

Great fun, gets busy but worth the crowd! Come early and don't hesitate to write your song requests in the post-it notes

Solo queríamos una agradable velada con música y decidimos probar Piano Kensington. Resultó ser un lugar realmente agradable con gente de todas las edades que solo deseaba pasar una tarde divertida escuchando a los favoritos de todos los tiempos y cantando (si lo desea). Definitivamente puedo recomendarlo. La comida no es su prioridad, pero puedes conseguir platos más pequeños de comida de bar.

We visited Piano last week as we were at a nearby restaurant and thought we would try this bar due to good reviews. It's quite a small bar with just a few tables. There was a guy who was playing the piano when we arrived. Nice atmosphere and worth trying

Visited Wednesday evening.. Ideal as I went around 10 pm and had the chance to enjoy my drink without having to worry about the time as it closes at 2am . There was a piano player/singer who created a really nice ambience. Place started getting even busier after 11 as people left the pubs around the area . Recommended, going again. It's a small place, I have noticed that it's getting busier Friday/Saturday evenings.

Very small piano bar located on Kensington High Street with a near constant line. Had to wait about 20 mins to get in. Was rather small and packed tight with people, more reminiscent of a rowdy night club then a piano bar/ lounge which was disappointing as we wanted a quite night out over drink. On the other hand the drinks are reasonable enough and the music was actually really good which is one of the reasons you would think you would go to a bar like this. Overall think their a better places to catch some piano/ jazz but if your in the area and up for rowdy night then check it out.

Great little place with good music. I had a black daiquiri and some truffle fries. Everything was tasty and the bar man was attentive. My only complaint would be that it's on the pricey side, specially the food. Would recommend.
