Very cool little spot authentic style friendly funny staff a must if you want to get out and about and meet the locals.

I came yesterday with a friend, we were very well received. I will come back because it was so good!!!

There are 2 of us women who went there yesterday and it was really good. The man at the counter was very friendly and the kebab was incredible. This will become our must-have when returning to London ✨️🤌🏼

I have been coming here for years and the food has been consistently fresh and tasty. The portion sizes have also remained the same and the staff have been great. I ordered the large chicken shish kebab with rice and homemade garlic sauce and it was delicious. The chicken was well grilled and seasoned, the rice was moist and the garlic sauce was refreshing. Overall, it is a must to give Bosphorus Kebabs a try if you are South Ken.

I don’t understand the reviews… doner lamb was tough and nearly inedible, there’s not really a sauce except a super spicy salsa?? Which I’ve never seen at kebab before, and our kebab meat was hardly half the container full when we ordered a large. We walked to our flat nearby with it so maybe because it got a little cold? But honestly worst kebab I’ve ever had… Im just very confused by the whole experience.

Los tamaños de las porciones eran pequeños, y la cuenta para mí y mis dos hijas adultas llegó a la asombrosa cifra de 71 libras por lo que era esencialmente un kebab callejero. Podría obtener fácilmente una mejor relación calidad-precio en Nando's u otros. No puedo entender la justificación de un aumento de precios tan masivo desde el Covid, y sinceramente, no sé por lo que estábamos pagando. Este lugar está cobrando de más ridículamente, y dudo que vuelva pronto.

I used to dine at this restaurant regularly between 1998 and 2000, but my recent experience left me shocked and disappointed. The prices have skyrocketed, and for what? The portion sizes were small, and the bill for myself and my two adult daughters came to a staggering £71 for what was essentially a street kebab. I could easily get better value for money at Nando’s. I can’t understand the justification for such a massive price increase since Covid, and honestly, I don’t know what we were even paying for. This place is overcharging ridiculously, and I doubt I’ll be returning anytime soon.

The best kebab I ever had I was introduced to this shop many years ago and never went elsewhere. Not oily just right.

We had döner for four people here. The döner was reasonably tasty. However, the tables are very small and the stools are uncomfortable. The prices compete with those of upscale restaurants. You can find better options for a lower price elsewhere.

The Doner was not Doner. It tasted more like kokorec, which is a dish made with the intestines of the animal. They either used something similar in the Doner or they put too much fat. Not recommended!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this kebab shop. Firstly, the service was terrible. The staff were unfriendly and seemed disinterested in taking our order. The boy working at the counter was especially rude, he was saying only cash only cash. When we finally got cash from cash machine, the food was cold and tasted awful. The meat was dry and overcooked, and the salad looked like it had been sitting out for hours. To make matters worse, they only accept cash, which is incredibly inconvenient. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are far better options nearby where you can get good food and decent service.

They do not have card payment, they still charge without paying taxes. They refused to receive euros. Their food was expensive. We preferred the Kentuky which is a 7 minute walk away

Not much seating, but we still managed to fit (6 seats needed, sat in different parts) Quality of the food was excellent, with the flavour of the meat really coming out. The chilli sauce, though not really spicy, was very good. Portions were a little smaller than I would have liked, but such is the price of the raw materials now. Would recommend, and go again

Tenía el entorno más básico y no lujoso y ni siquiera tenía facilidades de pago con tarjeta. Tuve que esperar un tiempo para que el kebab se cocinara, pero aún así fue agradable probar algo diferente / hacer algunos ahorros!

If you are an Imperial University student and need your surge of juicy protein head here! A firm favourite with students and halal. Kebabs come conveniently in different sizes. You can take away to a nearby park or bench like Imperials Prince Gardens

I tried this tiny restaurant a couple of times before but yesterday had a horrible experience with over priced mix grill that is nearly half of it is döner. Tasteless and poor quality. On top of it, cash only, so you need to carry cash or else you’ll be directed to cash back Tesco or underground atm! Not gonna return

Great service! My dad took us here as kids, 25 years ago while my mum was in a nearby hospital, and still the same great taste, super friendly staff!

Loved the chicken shish and kofta. Garlic mayo was delicious. Shame they don't do chips. Also super hot "restaurant" with hardly any seating. Casb only. Staff were very polite and friendly.

Small quirky place, very busy, positive reviews. Usually you would expect great food. Small expensive badly presented portion that is not worth it. One of worst meals I had. Totally regret it.

doner kebab meat actually tastes of meat and is prepared fresh each day and can run out in the evening but lots of shish alternatives. Remeber it is cash only but there is a Barclays cash machine atm near south ken tube station.

Für meine Deutsche Kollegen: Kann man nicht mit einem Standard Döner vergleichen. Unter „Doner“ versteht man wohl einen Döner Teller mit Brot vom Aldi aus der Aluschale. Es gibt nur eine Soße („scharf“), keine Joghurtsoße keine Knoblauch Soße. Das Fleisch war mittelmäßig. Es gab nur Lamm zur Auswahl, ist natürlich immer Geschmackssache. Ich rate euch, Finger weg. 10-12£ war mir definitiv zu viel. Geht lieber zu McDonald’s, da wisst ihr was ihr kriegt

Tried mixed grill and chicken wings - both are very satisfying and reasonably priced. The people there are really really really nice too. Cash only!!

Used to serve fantastic food and have an amazing vibe, now feels run down, with lacklustre service. Much less non-meat options than there used to be. Lots of the classic menu is no longer served, and what is served is ok but notably bad value for money - was charged over £10 for a smallish plate of uninspired food

It’s never open and whenever you try going in, they say “the staff haven’t turned up”. Seriously fix up! 🤦🏻‍♂️

The kababs there were really nice as they are actually cooked on real charcoal fire. The meats were tender, and not too heavily seasoned. The portion was good too. The only down sides are cash only and also seatings and really small. However, they managed the smell really well.

In town for my daughter's graduation and happened upon this place during a visit in which we had already indulged ourselves with highly rated, excellent restaurants. Even in that fancy company, this place was memorable. If I were rating it on food alone, it would be a standout. Flavorful, interesting, perfectly prepared, and just forkful after forkful of me trying to not disturb my neighbors with my yummy sounds and expressions of sheer delight. But as Ron Popeilwould say, that's not all. The staff is at least as delightful as their food. Warm, welcoming, and kind, they make you feel right at home, offering their generosity that lets you feel as if you've been invited to their home for dinner. I can't recommend this place enough. It's the kind of restaurant that you go out of your way to visit, that you plan your day in order to be in their area around meal time, and that you go to even if you're really not all that hungry. It's that good. No. It's better.

Was, is and always will be the best kebab in central London. You never forget how good it is even after 5 or 10 years.

I recently dined at this restaurant/takeaway and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The quality of the basic Turkish food was underwhelming and the customer service was notably poor. What truly shocked me, however, was an encounter with a staff member I hadn't seen before. Their extreme rudeness and confrontational behavior, in response to a simple question, were both surprising and unacceptable. This incident has led me to the decision that I will not be patronizing this establishment again. I hope that the management takes steps to address such issues in order to provide a better experience for future customers.

OMG, THE ABSOLUTE BEST DONER PLACE IN LONDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hassan and friends are so personable, friendly, and accommodating. I just love love love this place. The food is outstanding and fresh, and the entire place IS CLEAN! They are constantly cleaning the grill and wiping the counters so it stays clean. The Doner meat is shaved fresh for you, and you can choose what side you want if it's a salad or pita. There is inside seating as well as outside seating. This is a cash only place. It is truly one of my staples for dining in London!

I went there 5 years ago and it made me fall in love with Kebabs, 5 years later I returned and it is still amazing. The restaurant in making me a kebab addict, I’m going there every day now.

The restaurant is a lil small but the staff were really nice. We enjoyed the food, however the meat was a lil dry, and the portion of the food wasn’t as much as we had at other places.

1 star because PRICES EXTORTIONATE!!! Put the prices back down please... However it's just as good as it's always been... The food is really really good. Get the chicken leg shish as seen in my picture

This place has been going strong for well over 30 years. Its a bit of a "hole in the wall", but the food is still awesome.

Great food with generous portions - couldn't finish the smallest size. We got the doner kebab and shish kofte, both very good and served with bread and fresh salad. We also had the baklava which was great as well.

Same great taste. However, portions have reduced and prices are steep.

I have been visiting this place for over 25 years, always tasted good and always friendly people, Having to edit my review,,, the prices doubled last couple of months, and the food tastes disgusting, that wasn't from just a last visit, last 3 visits, food completely changed, and the prices increased more than 100% I won't go back again 😕

In 1987 I studied abroad with FSU and this place was the go to place for doner kebabs. It was gray then and it’s still excellent. Brought back great memories too.

Food was good salad was really fresh with a nice toasted pitta bread and loved the chilli sauce had the lamb shish a little bit too chewy for me so may stick to doner or chicken next time. For small portion u get quite a bit which is great.

Tight space but really nice Khebab’s!!

This place has almost 60 years of heritage. The kebabs are extremely tasty and well made no chips,so rice and bread only with a great variety of drink choices. The place iself is tight but in my opinion it adds character and definitely works! Food is A+ one of the best authentic Turkish kebab shops in West London 😋... love it
