Ahhh the breakfast was amazing! Proper sausages and perfectly cooked eggs, couldn't fault it at all.

Enjoyed an Itison deal for a 3 course dinner. The menu for the deal offers 3 starters, 3 mains, 3 desserts. One of which is vegetarian/ vegan. I’m not vegetarian but often choose a vegetarian option for 1 course. I think to have a cauliflower based starter and main was very limiting. The menu was nice but personally I think needs at least a choice of 4 mains. That said, all the food we had was lovely. Tasty, hot and nicely presented. Service was good and the waitress was friendly & attentive. We weren’t offered or brought any water to the table and table settings are basic. A few extra touches and attention to detail would improve the restaurant.

Buchanans is by far our favourite place to eat out. The food is delicious and the staff are always lovely. They have many gluten free and vegan options and are always great at accommodating our tricky dietary demands. They are dog friendly and child friendly, with toys and books to play with. Their latest dinner menu is particularly good, we will be back very soon!

We had a family dinner here and everything was amazing! As a Turkish person, I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have delicious Turkish food. Kuzu sarma beyti and lamb shank were amazingly tasty. Also, you should try desserts if you have a sweetheart tooth!

Just heard Trinity Restaurant has closed. Sad to say it's another business that simply couldn't keep up with the rising cost of living. The best restaurant in Glengormley bar none. Kieran and his staff were always great, food was brilliant, never in all the years had a bad meal. So sad. Hopefully some day the restaurant will reopen. Good luck.

We had an absolutely delicious takeaway from Isot last night. Ready to collect in just 20 minutes from ordering online. The portions were plentiful, Good value as all the mains have rice/chips, salad and bread all included in the price. An unexpected surprise on pick up, they gave us a 10% discount plus a complimentary rice pudding dessert which was delicious. A nice local eatery for us, and we will definitely be returning. Another most delicious meal - lunch this time - the gigot with wild mushrooms and pommes dauphinoises was perfect. And easy parking just outside.

Lovely location for a delicious Sunday roast. It was my birthday, we were staying nearby and lucked out when we found this place. It was a miserable wet day so can’t speak much for the outside grounds but inside was lovely and welcoming. Staff all very helpful and so accommodating towards our dog and toddler. The food was delicious, very plentiful and we had desserts too that were also tasty. I would not hesitate to recommend or return.

Como fotógrafo y cineasta que busca bares atmosféricos y locales con carácter, The Whippet se entregó en todos los ámbitos, desde el plato hasta la pinta y la personalidad. Nos topamos justo cuando el sol se sumergió, la luz dorada se derramó a través de los grandes ventanales delanteros sobre las mesas rústicas, y el ambiente era inmediatamente correcto: acogedor, fresco y sin pretensiones. Piense que el pub del barrio se encuentra con la comodidad moderna, con un lado de encanto retro. La multitud era una mezcla de lugareños, creativos y personal amable que nos hizo sentir como habituales incluso antes de la segunda ronda. Hablemos de comida. Pedí la cerveza - eglefino rebozado y triple - patatas fritas cocidas, y llegó a todas las notas correctas - crujiente, escamoso, la perfección dorada. Mi esposa fue al Sunday Roast (recomiendo encarecidamente el crepitar del cerdo) y ambos estuvimos de acuerdo: estos chefs saben lo que están haciendo. El asado vino con todos los arreglos y esa salsa rica, lenta y a fuego lento que sabe como si la abuela de alguien derramara su alma en ella. Terminamos la noche dando un paseo por Kensal Rise, uno de los barrios subestimados del noroeste de Londres. Tiene esa energía silenciosa de un lugar que los lugareños realmente aman. Ya sea que esté recién salido de un vuelo o a unas pintas de profundidad, The Whippet Inn es el tipo de lugar que recuerda y al que regresa. Es una cultura de pub hecha bien: comida conmovedora, cócteles serios, precios honestos y mucho carácter.

I had a wonderful experience this morning with a young lad who served me. He was super friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy his work. It’s so nice to see people like him making a positive impact and brightening everyone’s day!

Not one to leave reviews usually, but we left so full and happy with our experience I felt we had to share. What a lovely place for food and drinks. popped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the food was really good, the service also was second to none.myself partner and 2 little boys really enjoyed our meals! And the owner and his wife are so lovely and welcoming, we had a lovely chat and they was so accommodating. Would 100% recommend, my partner said the Sunday lunch was up there with one of the best he’s had! I really wish them well

Nice Sunday lunch but very limited dessert choice, the only dessert available was cherry Eaton mess or ice cream everything else had run out. I liked the sound of cherry Eaton mess which I ordered but when it was delivered it was strawberry, no sign of cherries so I sent it back. Main course was nice though.

Brilliant little wee bar in the city centre. The staff are very welcoming and friendly towards its punters. I love to come here on a Saturday afternoon to hear the laughs from Andy and the other regulars. Cracking pint of Tennants you get here too! PS Glentanar is a big believer in supporting local businesses in Aberdeen, hence why I choose to come here because it's independently run, and it's not owned by another company like Greene king etc which most pubs in Aberdeen are, which is draining the life out of these pubs sadly.
