Likely the best lunch I've had in Abergavenny for the price, drinks are well made, service is speedy considering how busy it was when we went there, setting was really well thought out, food was unbelievably high quality and the servers were kind, friendly, attentive and smart. Our server introduced themselves and gave a really great experience. I will visit every time I am in Abergavenny.

Mi marido y yo decidimos visitar, ya que era el día libre que ambos teníamos juntos. Llegamos a no encontrar una mesa en el interior pedimos un BLT ciabatta y un sándwich de atún y cebolla que eran encantadores. Fue cuando pedí el postre que todo salió mal. Pedí una banana split que mi marido y yo queríamos compartir. Nada más hacer el pedido vi a varios grupos grandes llegar a la ventanilla de comida para llevar y un grupo de unos 6 niños y 2 adultos entraron a tomar un helado varias personas más llegaron dentro también. Después de esperar unos 20 minutos mi marido preguntó en el mostrador dónde estaba nuestro postre y le dijeron que estaba en camino ... ... después de otros 5 minutos un miembro del personal vino a decirnos que se habían quedado sin helado de chocolate un componente clave de la partida de plátano. Ella ofreció un helado de sabor diferente o simplemente vainilla. No me satisfacían las otras opciones, por lo que pedí un reembolso. Fue una visita muy decepcionante. No volveré a ir.

Beautiful Victoria sponge. A lovey selection of cakes and the menu looks great. Also a full coffee and tea menu to choose from great value for money and lovely team of ladies to help with all your needs.

The food here is fairly good, they just need to get good staff - staff here just don't care in anyway. Maybe it comes from the top? As haven't met anyone here who is even average in a customer facing role. - Eaten here twice, visited for coffee twice and left once because of the staffs attitude. Won't be back.

I genuinely think this is the best coffee in the UK. I go out of my way every trip to come here. The coffee is phenomenal. I never miss a visit to Hi coffee. I live in London and the coffee here trumps it all!!!!! They are open late as well!!!!!!!!

Really nice coffee shop. When we walked in we were greeted by the smell of freshly roasted coffee... mmm! Interesting decor and comfy places to sit. There were six of us but we managed to find an eclectic group of chairs for a chat over their lovely coffee and drinks. Our friends decided to say for some food.

Arrived at and they had run out of jacket potatoes which was crazy for a bank holiday. Ordered coronation chicken baguette with side salad and crisps. Well I had to search for the chicken and had 2 bits of crisps, side salad was a bit of lettuce slice of tomato no cucumber. Worst meal I have ever had. Couldn’t go back to raise an issue as it was packed and I didn’t want to queue again and gave my coffee go cold. Other people sitting by me ordered the same and their meal looked so much better even the couple said they couldn’t believe theirs to mine. If you are charging over £7 for a baguette then please make it the same as everyone’s. All I can think is the person in the kitchen was tired and just couldn’t be bothered to be working . Normally I give 5/5 but today you get -20 .
