All things considered, included food quality, customer service and prices. This is the best Cafe in Cardiff for a breakfast, easily. If you can find a better one I’ll be surprised.

I visited here this week having not been for a long while. The breakfast was delicious as were the staff. The only downfall was the toast which was thin/medium bread. I would have preferred "doorstep" toast. Would definitely visit again.

Hello, just by chance came across the Tuck in Cafe on Whitchurch Road Cardiff, easy to park outside, no-nonsense menu with plenty of choices. The place was clean and orderly. I ordered the small breakfast and my son the larger one, with tea and two juices very generous portions on food and drinks, eggs bacon, and sausage were cooked to perfection and very tasty, and I do not normally like sausages. Lovely woman taking orders, very pleasant male waiter. I will definalty drop in again for breakfast

My partner lives close by and we come here very regularly! I was ill and couldn’t go for a while but when we returned the man who runs the cafe still remembered my very particular order. The food is amazing and we bring friends to try it often. I don’t eat egg and am always offered extra of something else instead. Never had a bad experience!

Always a fantastic breakfast from New Tuckin! The owner and staff are friendly and do some good grub! Much more than breakfasts too!

I come here a few times a week when I'm working and it's great value for money and the staff are friendly and the food is good quality for what you pay.

Nipped in here for a hangover curing fry up. Other than being a bit stingy with the beans, it was a decent effort. Only major gripe was how uncomfortable the chairs were... Other than that, very friendly staff and prompt and helpful service!

Bog standard bottom of the ladder caf. No good if you're lactose intolerant. Basic service. Nothing offensive. Open on Sundays. Ok if you want the basic basics.

We often come here for breakfast at weekends, the staff are very nice, the service is quick and food is lovely and very reasonable. Definitely recommended if you fancy a quick fry up.

Popped in with hubby. Ordered a full breakfast and toastie. The food was cooked to perfection. Best breakie hubby has had in a long time. Staff were great as was the service. I had ordered a take away coffee for a homeless man that was sleeping a few doorways down. Without hesitation they give me some hot buttered toast for him as well. It was freezing outside and what a great thing to do. Once again my highest praise.

I was on my way to a big chain pub for Sunday breakfast when I assumed upon this place. It was packed and had top food safety rating so decided to give it a go. It looked a bit dark from outside but once inside out was very pleasant. It was clean without the smell from burned oil you usually get in some places and the air condition unit was at the correct setting, pleasantly cool but not freezing. Despite being busy the service was very efficient. The woman at the order till was very pleasant despite my order peculiarities and offered appropriate substitutions to the set menu. Every table cleaned as soon as it was vacated. The food was cooked to perfection, not under cooked and not dry or burnt. Every item tasted what it was supposed to, none of that burnt oil or crossed flavours from cooking everything in the same oil kind of taste associated with many breakfast joints. There was no grease. The one item i wasn't very fused about was the sausage. It was... how shall I put it...very British (sorry guys, where i grew up sausages are made with meat and some herbs and spices, no starchy additives) but that's just me, I'm sure most of you will find them nice. A nice touch was a "thank you"to every customer on the way out. I've had fancier breakfasts in posh hotels for a lot more, but for the quality, amount and service you get for the price I'll give the New tuck in cafe a comfortable five. P.S. The picture with the refrigerated display must be old. The place looks different (better) now. Also the menu has been rearranged although the contents appear similar. Sorry, I realised all that after I left without taking any pictures.

Excellent value for money for breakfast. Tasty menu and a very speedy service from the friendly staff. My parents frequent this cafe often.

Me and my boyfriend arrived at half past 1 and ordered two baguettes. we accepted that a party of three were in front of us and we were willing to wait.

Came here frequently as a student. Nice breakfast, with great coffee. Set B for me please... always a great choice. Typical cafe serving fried breakfasts as well as baguettes etc.

I came in on Monday 28th Febuary for a morning treat, and a treat I got. I ordered their number 3 breakfast which included the likes of, sausages, eggs, hash brown, black pudding, beans, mushrooms and toast. This option also came with a complimentary coffee.

A cafe that offers good reasonably priced quality food. After choosing an omelette for lunch, I was sure not let down, it was good old fashion quality food, and not swimming in crease!! The milky coffee was stunning, hence we will all be returning!!

Tuvimos un desayuno completo por 3,70 libras (tamaño más grande disponible) que tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. El personal era eficiente, y la señora de la hasta que parecía dirigido el espectáculo se aseguraba de que el buen funcionamiento de la cafetería. Impresionado con la manera en que agradeció a todos los que la izquierda del edificio. Le llamar de nuevo

Porque comimos aquí la última los anteriores dueños han trasladado, aparentemente tomando el carácter del lugar con ellos. Ahora parece que el interior de una tienda de kebabs, pasando por las mesas y paredes de lino hay un armario de cristal con las raciones habituales y por encima de la ensalada que un amplio menú donde puedes pedir por número. El servicio era excepcionalmente sosa, ni del personal nos ofreció una sonrisa o saludo. La comida estaba bien, pero que les ofrecieron nada de lo que no podría haber recogido en el supermercado y preparado. No me preguntó cómo me gustaría los huevos y no creo que a preguntar. Nada grasosa y las raciones eran de un buen tamaño, el café era recién hecho y bastante decente para el precio.
