Duckpool Road Cafe in Newport

I bought a large breakfast and was very impressed with the quality of the food, it was quickly cooked upon ordering. The cooked breakfast wasn’t too greasy it was splendidly delicious. I would recommend to anyone looking for tasty food in a local business. Thank you to the team for a brilliant experience.

Been eating at Duckpool cafe for over 10 years with friends and family members on a weekly basis. The breakfast alway has its same unique taste. Cooked to perfection. Staff are outstanding. Service is 10/10, can get really busy at peak times….. Saturday mornings etc THAT JUST SAYS IT ALL !!!!!! the best breakfast in town

Spotlessly clean with appealing decor, cutlery and crockery. Order precisely what you want and how you want it. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent quality, beautifully cooked and presented. It is my number one choice. Where else do you get to read a FREE newspaper too?

A good quality breakfast at reasonable prices small but organised. The breakfast was plentiful and we'll cooked. And the cafe is busy clearly well known.

Very cheap but great food! Always busy so never plenty of room. Would not recommend the tomatoes with breakfast as it seems it’s just from canned chopped tomatoes. Other than this, I cannot fault it at all.

Basic café food, well cooked, reasonably priced. As nice as any I have had. Didn't have to wait too long. Downside was the location, parking a nightmare and seems mainly for locals rather than people outside of the area. Would definitely return.

Just the right type of Welsh breakfast, that's like an English breakfast but bigger! Nice cuppa. Local.

If you didn't know that this cafe was there then it would be easy to miss it as it is located next to a mini roundabout Food was good and plentiful Prices were reasonable and service was quite quick
