Really great Sunday lunch! Unfortunately the Newport High Street bar has now closed for business 😭😭

Food was already finished at 9pm before I arrived, would be nice to have this on a sign somewhere. however the beer is excellent and had lots of different winners which I enjoyed!

The staff and the service they’ve provided has been amazing, it’s very disheartening to see how they have been treat among an imminent closure. Not that Tiny Rebel as a company respects the community the staff have built over the years.

Great service, fab funky layout. You can get a tour plus a can for £25. Didn't have food, parking on road

Real shame this place is closing soon, just when that part of the City Centre seems to be enjoying a revival.

Shame ita being closed but in all honesty 95% of the time we go to the brewery site, not this one.

Decor a bit strange and not for people who like branded drinks as they only sell their own brands of beer and lager. Pity its closing down

Thought Tiny Rebel might be the same quality as Brewdog but they are poles apart! Visited on saturday lunchtime and the place needs a good clean to say the least. Had a paddle of tasters and a glass of wine. The tasters were vile and totally undrinkable (pineapple lager 🤮 stout with vanilla and coffee 🤮 and a partially drinkable one). Wine was equally horrible - overpriced and weak. Sadly not a good experience for us at all and a shame as we love our real ales and trying new things but did not enjoy the drinks or dirty seating at all.

Fantastic evening, great atmosphere and obviously the beer was epic. Spent a good few hours "testing" all the beers on tap 😍. Staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable.. Epic chilled atmosphere, a respite in the center of Newport

Our Go To place for great beers and food not to forget a great team who always make us welcome! A special shout out to Lauren who went the extra mile during a recent visit. I happened to mention that our daughter's partner had recently asked 'my blessing' at TR Town to pop The Question on a holiday to Iceland. Five minutes later Lauren arrived at our table with glasses of Prosecco and offered her congratulations to the happily engaged couple! Thank you Lauren it's really appreciated!

Been to both branches a few times and both suffer massively service wise. Wait ages for food and when it arrives it’s freezing because the person in the bar is caught up serving beer and is often the only person working.

Good pub grub but their own brewery's beer is the star, as is the lively but sensible atmosphere compared to the clubs/bars around it which are staggeringly loud meat markets. Great place.

Today me and my son popped in for lunch. Lovely welcome from the staff, we're told our table number and bought a menu. I opted for a vegan roast, and my son had a rebel burger. Also had a clwb tropica( my fave) and an apple juice. The food was quick and very good! My roast was huge. The temperature could have been a little more, but there was really nothing to complain about as everything was super tasty and well put together. My son enjoyed his burger, which was also quite the plateful. Nice little treat at the end of a busy week!

Had a great time with friends before the FA Cup game in Newport

The drinks are limited with no lime lager on tap, only Indian tonic to pair with gin and not a great selection of spiced rum. Therefore, unusually it was difficult to choose a drink at a pub. The Christmas dinner fries were great for fries and gravy but stuffing was cold, hardly any cheese and no pis in blanket or chicken in sight. Used to come here of term but it’s not what it was.

Good beer here, epecially fruity IPAs

With so many burger places there is a lot of competition making which must make it hard to stand out. It also makes it hard to find a good place when there is a lot of choice. I ordered a takeaway through Uber from here and was very happy. Burger was amazing and full of flavour. The patties had a lovely caramelisation and were dripping with juice. Wings were top notch. I went for the buffalo wings. They were crispy, juicy and the sauce was perfect. I would have taken a photo but I couldn't wait to eat!

Normally like the tiny rebel but little cider choice and the lager wasn't the best. Will try again and hope it's better.

The Newport Centre bar. Very good vibe and really good atmosphere. Excellent selection of beers available. Well worth a visit.

Didn't have food but tried the excellent Toffee Apple punch.. staff really friendly and helpful.

Booked a table to enjoy one of their roast dinners. The vegan roast was exceptional, huge and filling, very tasty and brilliant value for money. If your looking for a place to get a hearty roast, come here!

Had the vegan roast it was delicious. Staff were friendly and transparent about the food wait times. Will be back for more

Tiny Rebel's distinct brand make this bar charectful and a brilliant night out. A huge selection of alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks and friendly team make for a memorable time!

Turned away on arrival - almost an hour before closing - were told that everyone currently in the bar was "either staff or regulars". Clearly anyone not regular is not welcome even if there are people drinking fresh drinks. A shame as we all love TR beer but clearly you have to be part of the "in" circle within Newport to be allowed in.

Great venue, friendly, busy, unique. Dog friendly, nice outdoor space, good choice of music, welcoming to all ages.

Great staff and atmosphere. Food heavily peppered and salted. No Old man's dishwater beer (I like dishwater). Mostly citrus IPA. There was one Red beer, but not excellent

We booked for Sunday lunch,which is described on the menu as roast beef or pork served with Yorkshire pudding, seasonal veg, pigs in blankets roast potatoes and deep fried parsnips, buttered leeks. We paid an additional £2.50 for a second meat. The plates arrived the additional meat (pork) was a slice a fat,apparently we should have been advised it was belly pork. The roast potatoes were cooked to death,there were no leeks or pigs in blankets. We were served a tiny portion of cabbage 1 slice of carrot and a slice of parsnip covered in some kind of coating with a stuffing ball. Poor presentation. I went to the counter to complain and was told they had run out of Yorkshire pudding. The stuffing balls were a replacement for the pigs in blankets, there should have been leeks on the plate! How can they run out of basics when we've booked in advance and they know how many they are catering for? Is the kitchen run by a chef? Also the toilets are in a very sad state,dirty tiles and floor. Toilet doors that dont lock toilet sets broken.In much need of a deep clean and refurbishment. Bitterly disappointed.

Just ordered a delivery from here. Firstly my 2 bottles of beer were missing. Second my food was late and cold. I ordered the seitan wings - gross! Rock hard & dripping with grease. Then the vegan burger - looked and tasted disgusting I couldn’t eat any of it and not even any beer to drown my sorrows. What a horrible experience.

Great if you come when the kitchen is open..but it rarely is. Stick to spoons.

Behaviour of staff: Helpful/Polite (6). Service: Fast (7*). Atmosphere: Relaxing (if you come for lunch) or too laud (if you come for dinner).

Extremely expensive drinks for what you get. I mean, it's all fun and games if you enjoy paying twice the price of other pubs nearby and get served something that is supposed to taste like 'A' or 'B' but doesn't in the slightest... just not quite for me.

The hamburger tasted quite salty which could indicate the salt was added to the meat prior to cooking it to hide the highly possible fact the meat was going bad. And, the burger bun was very greasy.

Had a family celebration there, food was amazing, service was amazing! Staff are brilliant. We love tiny rebel ❤️ thank you 👍

Super cute place. Friendly staff. Amazing buffalo sauce and proper fried pickles - even the ranch was good (I'm American so this is important). Loved seeing dogs there as well. Great selection of beers.

Tiny Rebel Newport centre are fantastic!! I recently hosted my birthday there and they dealt with a large pre-order exceptionally, every meal was perfect and timely. Very tasty food and drink, as always. The service was great and I would like to thank Kyron and Geo particularly for sorting everything both before the day and on the day. Been a Tiny Rebel fan you years so great to visit the ‘home’. We has a burrito and corn nachos and we it was very good. The beer of course was wonderful.

Very disappointed in the food. Nothing like the food we had a Timy Reble Brewery, that was stunning. Will not be going back to this Tiny Reble again.

Great bar, great staff . They have great beer . They just need to stop playing Harry Potter and messing about and stick to what they do best

I went here with a group of friends to do the brewery tour, which was good. As well as good value for money. The bar looks amazing. Portion sizes on the food may be on the tad small size. But you're really there for the beer. Well, it's worth the visit if you are a tiny rebel fan. It does get busy, so I would recommend booking a table for your visit.

Tiny rebel is a good ale and food place with atmosphere. An ale pub of a modern look it has a good range of new "small local brewery" ales and lagers. Food is burger type with chips but has vegan food and a couple of unusual dishes which are good. Staff are friendly and helpful. We booked a table and watched International Rugby on the huge screen they have..great atmosphere..great fun!

Great Beer, Great Food, Great Place

Had the vegan roast and it was delicious. The Yorkshire pudding was particularly good!!! It has been a while since I've had a decent vegan Yorkshire pudding! Good portion and cooked really well. Hopefully some good vegan desserts to follow soon.

Our daughter got a new job so we popped in for a few beers and a bite to eat, good beer to start with which is there own brew. My wife had a venison burger with fries and i had the Rebel burger with fries, both burgers were lovely, our daughter has the Christmas dinner which was fries, bit`s of turkey and stuffing with melted cheese on top with gravy over the top of it, well comfort food at it`s best, she is not a great eater but she murdered it. At Tiny Rebel you can`t go wrong, the service was spot on as well.

Nice and accommodating Tiny Rebel pub in Newport. Visited as we were down for the footy at Newport, but they also had the rugby on. They have their core range on tap, with a few guest beers as well. Plus, they have some of their more exotic options in the fridge. The food we saw getting served looked great. They even ovened us some chips to make them gluten free. Legends.

We come here all the time. We had the roast in the Cardiff branch and it was EXCELLENT so assumed it would be the same here. Disappointingly, it was not. The “rare roast beef” arrived being over cooked - it was “well done”. Totally over cooked and chewy. Not “rare” at all. The Yorkshire pudding was soggy and the roast potatoes hard. This was so disappointing after a great roast in Cardiff!

Tiny Rebel make some great beers and a trip to their bar is always enjoyable. Staff are always helpful. There was a Bristol Beer Factory tap takeover when I popped in so a lot of the beers I wanted weren't available but not a deal breaker.
