Sometimes your body tells you that you've just gotta hit the salad - and this is the place to do it. Falafel Corner is a bright and cheerful venue situated at the end/corner of the Capitol Shopping Centre, and also near the newly uncovered chill-out canal feature. It also boasts an excellent hygiene rating and the staff are helpful and friendly. Here, they serve BAKED falafels, but although not quite as delicious as the more authentic deep-fried ones (occasional treat), they are MUCH less calorific. But the star here is Falafel Corner's generous spirit: an enormous boxed salad assortment (I order through Deliveroo) that makes your body - and mind - rejoice. If I had to pick on anything, I would suggest that they use the thicker, better quality Pret-style bowls for the salads. The current cheaper ones are too flimsy and absorbent for a massive salad etc. But hats off to the staff for wrapping the boxes in clingfilm, before delivery, to offset the problem. I look forward to my next order of falafels, hummus - and great value salad!

Falafel corner is a great place for lunch or take out. The vegan meze is delicious. The staff are always cheerful and friendly.

I would give this a 6* review!. Absolutely delicious, freshly made Falafel. Street food at its finest. Quick, very reasonably priced food. staff and service was Excellent, i cannot fault my experience. would Highly recommend anyone. I ordered the Box salad, So much flavour and freshness.

I ordered a salad box and when I opened the box falafel were stone cold as well as the pita bread served with it. They keep falafel in the wooden bowl that is open. No wonder they are cold. Also they seem to add flour to falafel as they were the worst falafel I've ever had a chance to eat. As it was all cold I though I could take it home and eat a little bit later. What a mistake! It was packed in a cardboard box and as it contained salads the cardboard melted. Not to mention it is one of those card only places.

We love Falafel corner. Food is great. Good value. The staff are always super friendly. We do miss the sweetcorn with kidney beans, and the green pickles they used to do. The wraps are great and also the salad bowls. It's all paper, cardboard and wooden cutlery too so eco. We're not vegan but it is super vegan friendly.

I cannot give this place aby kind of rating because they are "card only" and my debit card is faulty. I tried to grab some food on the way home (they would normally get a 4 or even a 5) but was stonewalled by this ridiculous policy!! Vegan food is hard to come by at the bext of times without this preposterous obstacle!

Ordered a box, got 3 falafels. Couldn't eat the salad as it was too tangy/sour, full of a pickled like taste. They had two options for humous and couldn't give me half and half even though it was manually served. Left the whole thing as I couldn't eat it. Spent £6.50. What a waste.

Buy 9 meals get one free the card states . Not the case when you buy 9 salad boxes and then you ask for 50p ??

I'm definitely not a vegan but based on this place, I could be. Awesome food, fantastic tastes, textures and looks. I'm in trouble if they open in Stockton on Tees (take a hint please)

We ordered a salad bowl and wrap. We both added a couple of extras to our order. We were so full after this, in fact the salad had to be eaten in 2 goes it was that filling!!! 100% recommend and one us us is a meat eater!

Outstanding lunch spot. Delicious falafel wraps, salads and all very reasonably priced. Very popular so expect a queue - but it moves fast.

Used to love this place. Used to rave about it to people. Now it's one to miss. Darth Vader/Craig Charles look alike watching servers and customer portions like a hawk and the product is not what it once was. It used to be chunky, delicious and great value, but not it is just another overpriced falafel place.

The issue here was that the Lebanese bread was cold, not warm like it's meant to be meaning that the wraps had the consistency of boot leather. It's simple food so there is no excuse really. Shame really

We visited this lovely takeaway / eating Falafel Corner. It was a very cold day in Cardiff and it was warm and cosy in the restaurant. They were very friendly staff and the food was good at a reasonable price. Family friendly. Enjoyed the food.
