Sidoli's cafe in Blaenau Gwent

According to Google, this place is permanently closed. Come on Tripadvisor, get your act together! Wouldn't it be great if there was a button to click to feedback about a place that isn't there?! Mind you, it would be great if there was a button to find places that are actually open right now.

Very welcoming place. Nicely separated tables to maintain social distance. Our sandwich snack lunch was great. The Bacon, Brie & Cranberry sarnie came in tasty speciality brown bread and was enormous. The toasted Bacon Melt in ciabatta was just as large and just as good. Even so we could not resist sharing a Banana Split. Lovely ice cream actually tasting of strawberry, chocolate and proper vanilla.

Cafe safely spaced out with 2M social distancing (as best as can be) But breakfast was lovely. Can’t complain definitely where I’m heading again next weekend (if we’re not in lockdown)

We were in Ebbw Vale for a brief visit and I'm so glad we popped in to Sidoli's for breakfast! Absolutely delicious food; one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. A great buzzing atmosphere and comfortable surroundings, really friendly and efficient service too. The coffee and food were so good that we stayed on for ice cream too. A real credit to Ebbw Vale- most high streets would be lucky to have a cafe anywhere near as good as Sidoli's.

Weve not been in here since just before lock down omg what a change and not for the better ,change of everything ,looks like only 1 original staff member there and she was more out the back and she should be front of house as shes a people person with a smile that welcomes you,but not this visit staff not friendly ordered coffee which went to another table, staff seemed disorganised and not working as a team took ages before they realised total shambles, sorry but wont be going back , poor selection of cakes used to be great but its lost its charm

What lovely people, a friendly welcome and great breakfast at an excellent price. Couldn't ask for more.

Excellent lamb hotpot. Good tea. Friendly staff. Lovely big baked potatoes. Tasty coffee. Well worth a visit.

Sidolis have been in Ebbw Vale as long as I remember , great Italian coffee tastes as coffee should and great staff , prices very reasonable too .

Food was spot on and chilli was obviously homemade and not tinned! Baked potato was oven cooked and not microwaved which makes a huge difference. Fab selection of cakes too!!

Lovely food for reasonable prices. Friendly staff always make your welcome. Could be a little warmer in there and maybe have a card machine to keep up with modern times. Would highly recommend!

It really wasn't busy and yet trying to get served in this place was impossible. We sat, we waited, we tried to get their attention. I went up the counter t be told it was table service so sat down for our family to be ignored again. After 15 minutes and with hungry kids we got up and left and we won't be returning.

Stopped for breakfast at 11am First impressions not good one person behind the counter and empty plates on tables with remnants of previous customers. Had to search for a clean table, high hopes looking at the reviews. Ordered breakfast, partner had poached eggs and mushroom on toast. Eggs rock hard and toast soggy from the mushrooms on top. My full breakfast again had hard eggs, not difficult to cook eggs properly. Sorry opportunity lost.

Really nice traditional valleys cafe with friendly staff. Menu has something for everybody and the staff made you feel very welcome. I would return here.

had lovely food hot, friendly staff, cake wow amazing, but not always open,and what I loved the homeless was welcomed, which warmed my heart, the waitress was amazing with them, and they told us that not all the cafes in ebbw vale would let them in, tilets up stairs, not all the cafes in ebbw vale have this either, love there ice cream, it is on the flat but its very narrow and if in a wheel chair would struggle with the toilet,

Several of my friends and I visit here regularly. I've eaten a variety of things off the menu and it's always been hot, enjoyable and speedy. The service is warm and friendly. Good teas, coffees and hot chocolates served too. Never a bad word to say about anytjing here. Although isn't open on a Monday.

My cousin and I visited the cafe and nothing to much trouble for the staff. the mushroom omelette comes with salad and a chose of white or brown baguette well worth a visit premises lovely and clean and fab food and drinks

Always a pleasant and happy atmosphere, food excellent nothing is to much trouble for the staff, if you require a slight change to your order, they will oblige. Friendly staff and excellent food.

Nice little cafe with limited seating. Staff very pleasant and quick. Nice selection of food & drinks that's reasonably priced with good sized portions. Well worth popping in for a ice cream as it's made at the local factory.

This place is a little small cafe in Ebbw Vale town centre. Nice place for breakfast and even better for it's ice cream! I love this ice cream! Best ice cream around!

Wheelchairs cannot be taken into the establishment the access is to narrow, although outdoor seating is available. Toilet facilities are upstairs therefore not disabled friendly. The food is excellent, tasty, freshly cooked and the service is again excellent.

Great place to meet up with friends & you'll be surprised who you bump into. Lovely tea & toast. Panini, cakes. Worth visiting.

Nice friendly Italian type cafe. Good coffee, good breath of choice on breakfast menu. Really good value.

Been there so many times when I visited I had coffee first shop I been where they serve coffee with a compliment biscuit,for a small Shop they are always busy which is brilliant, ice cream to die for yammmy,the girls on the service very friendly and make you welcome,It my local shop and I served the guys in my restaurant in few occasion, look forward to visit there soon and all the best in your future,keep up the good work

This cafe is located in the middle of town, excellent lunch time menu catering for all needs,locally made ice cream is a must to try,

I have to say the quality of the food along with the presentation and cleanliness of this cafe is top notch. Great menu always freshly made, stunning cake selection & staff very friendly.
