Found this lovely restaurant whilst on a day trip to Prestwick and we were not disappointed. As it was a nice sunny day we sat in the front terrace which is very nicely decorated and on reviewing the menu we noticed that on a Monday to Thursday they offer meals at £4.95 from the main menu. We picked our meals and drinks then went to the bar to order where drinks were served and our meals arrived at our table a short while after, meals were excellent and when next in the area will definitely return Staff were all very pleasant, keep up the good work.

I recently came here with my partner and our dog on a recent walk from prestwick to troon. When we arrived we were seated promptly and had a drinks order taken staff were very attentive and polite. We sat a long on the couch table area at the front as that was the section where you were allowed with dogs. I will say that itās ver cramped with other customers and dogs I feel like the full pls r should be dog friendly if thatās the way they are going. This would provide more space for both two and four legged customers. We had multiple drinks mains and couple sides I had the burger and my partner had the tacos. All of which were lovely we definitely would return in the future.

I visited the town of Bothwell because my last name is the same, and after seeing "my" castle I had a few pints at Douglas Arms and it was very cool. I hung out with some local gents and the place is just perfect! Thank you so much for the very welcome time boys (and Maam-bartender), I will return!

Went in at 11.40 to be told i couldnt have a lunch menu until 11.45 I said thats fine by the time we pick what we want it wld be nearly 12. The server then stated that this was not allowed, however by the time she said this it was 11.50 so we could then get the lunch menu. The server then asked if we could put the buggy down as there was no room. No bother we said. She then came to take the order. My 2 grandaughters wanted sausages... no sorry we dont have any sausage. What cafe does not have sausage when it is clearly on the menu. At this point we advised we would go elsewhere. From start to finish the server was a jobs worth with no manners and we got the vibe that this small place is not child friendly, and is for the elderly only.

Had a lovely lunch in Drift after a walk along Troon beach. The weather was gorgeous so it was nice to sit outside. The staff were friendly and service was quick. There is a good choice on the menu (also for dogs!). I had the Greek avocado with poached eggs which was delicious, full of flavour and very tasty. My husband had the brie, bacon and cranberry toastie which he also enjoyed. We will definitely be back next time we are in Troon.

Great to have a lovely local place to eat. Staff and prices are fab. Have eaten there a few times and recommend the mac and cheese and sticky toffee pudding. All homemade.

This is more of a gift shop than a garden centre. We stopped in and were really disappointed with the incredibly poor selection of plants, most of which were looking very dry and thirsty. Never stopped for cake as well were too disappointed with the garden selection. The farm shop was also not filled with local farm produce, and instead had mostly shop brand items.

So 1st and last time visitor ! Was recommended to me so made a trip for lunch. Ordered soup which both came luke warm so requested that they be warmed up to eating temperature. Take 2 on return one was slightly warmer the other still luke warm. As am not one for take 3 spoke with staff to ask if I could pay as decided to go elsewhere, no charge (not eaten) but the soup "apparently" take a while to heat !! Offered to heat "again" but thought after 2 attempts, not. It should be good to go from the off otherwise why serve cool soup. A less than satisfactory experience and to be honest not a great ambiance, my wife thought seating was uncomfortable. Sorry but that's how we found the place š
