Really horrible experience in the tavern, obnoxious customers and rude barmaid, will not be back.

Totally disappointed in the kandy bar. While I have visited this place for years without fault, I recently ordered a cake for my mums 70th (2 months notice) when I arrived to collect it (it was supposed to be a giant pink slice) I was told that they didn’t have a slip for it (hard to believe as they had something prepared) the lady was putting it in the box and I said it should have xyz written on it and she had no idea what I was talking about. She was all apologetic, meanwhile another member tried to charge me for it again… luckily I had a receipt. They kept saying they didn’t know who/what it was for so had nothing on it. Meanwhile I can only presume a supervisor came forward only to say…. Well we don’t have any bakers left and I can’t call them back in… not my problem again ordered 2 months prior. While I appreciated the added extras for free.. it still wasn’t what I ordered (bearing in mind I tried to order on a Saturday only to be told they were busy so took a day off work to then order) thankfully my mum was none the wiser…. But I have never been so disappointed in a company that I will more than likely not return to.

For a start, I don’t understand why a commercial building built in the late 90’s doesn’t have a lift given my guess of the average age of their clientele. We went for tea and a scone with my mum who is recovering from getting a new knee. We were told that we could have a table in the foyer cos the restaurant wasn’t accessible. They then changed their mind and told us that we couldn’t order a tea and a scone because there was already 6 people in their restaurant and it would be at least 30 minutes before they could put in a new order. There were 4 people in the empty shop, two in the foyer and presumably numerous staff in the cafe. Between them they couldn’t get us a tea and a scone. We won’t be back.

It's a very cute cafe at Millport and serves tasty panini toasties burgers. The loaded nachos was also pretty good and they were kind e ough to make a vegetarian version for us. The coffee and hot chocolate were a saviour on a rainy cold day in May. We enjoyed our meal at the cafe. The staff was friendly too.

Promised myself I would go in one day as I come from Saltcoats originally and I am a Railways nostalgia freak. Had to wait on my train on a pouring wet day so in I went. Charming young lady was very welcoming and efficient had a filling bacon roll and a lovely LARGE strong coffee. Spotlessly clean and all the other customers were served in a friendly helpful manner. Well done ladies ticked all the boxes.

This is a must for anyone wanting some delicious, value for money food for breakfast or lunch. There are so many options to choose from on boards as you go in the shop and the coffee is a serve yourself machine. Delicious cakes are available as are so many combinations of rolls/baguettes etc. Service from a so friendly lady made the experience great and the prices are very very reasonable.

Just popped into Moka in Largs as hadn't had breakfast and decided to have some brunch. We are not vegitarian but thought we would try it out. Bright spacious cafe located in The Main street / Tron Place with lovely plants and pleasant modern decor . A warm welcome from staff and prompt service got us off to a good start. If you have never had a veggie roll in sausage you need to try it was absoloutley delishious..My wife had advacado smash on sourdough with salad and a lovely slight curry seasoning..so nice...coffee and tea really good and all at a reasonable price and service with a smile.. Not to be missed. 5 stars from us.

Table booked on 24/12/2019 for 9 people to have lunch on 5th Jan 2019. We were told when ordering our drinks that they had only one can of diet coke!! Bad start. One hour after our arrival no food had been brought to the table. Eventually starters were served. Food average. When we asked for salad cream for a salad it was to be told that they didn't have any! I ordered fish and chips and was told they didn't have any fish ' only scampi. Attitude to customers was take it or leave it! I felt they had let us down and Dalry down. We will not go back there again.

This place is warm, cosy, friendly, and makes simple v tasty, well seasoned food. The prices are good, the service comes with a smile. It's a bit like being looked after by your your grandma who likes to spoil you. This is not fine dining. It's better than that, as it's like being part of their family.
