Eglinton Inn in North Ayrshire

The restaurant was freezing. One of us ordered a baked potato which caused the delivery time to be very lengthy. Food was ok but not great. Atmosphere was lacking a little but perhaps because it had just opened for the day and had not really got going. Probably would not be going back but ok for a nothing special lunch

Lovely lunch. Tempura chicken is so so tasty... Would defo recommended. It was quiet when we arrived but started to get busier

The place has a great atmosphere, lovely food and great drinks, but the toilets let the whole place down.

A great Christmas party night with excellent food and service. ABBA tribute had everyone up on the floor dancing.

Really good selection of starters, mains and puddings. Try something different or stick to something traditional, they have it all. Service with a smile. Also dog friendly.

We arrived late for lunch and even though they were very busy, they extended their cutoff for us. Fab food, service and atmosphere. We will be back x

Popped in on Sunday 4th September for some lunch. No Sunday roast available so I had freshly caught haddock and chips. It arrived promptly, was piping hot and delicious. I was on my own but the staff were very friendly and made me very welcome. Would definitely return.

Held my daughters surprise 18th here. Private dinner for 30 guests. Food was great, service first class and all made to feel very welcome. Cannot fault the venue - special thanks to the owner Ross who sent the extra mile to make it a special night. Totally recommend
