The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Badenoch and Strathspey Highland Highlands and Islands

Our second visit to the cafe and it was just as good as the first. Messaged on Facebook before we went and received a very quick reply. It was open for takeaway only so the tea room's tables were removed, creating plenty of space to move around in. A wide selection of food available for mid-morning on a Tuesday, including a great selection of cakes. Gluten free cake option available, as well as a range of cakes. We had four different ones between us and each one was, just delicious!

We stopped by after our walk around town. We only had beer or hot tea, but sat by the bakery display. I was too full, but still coveted the scones. There were cakes, cookies, frosted doughnuts.... a busy, but still friendly staff topped off this most refreshing stop in our day. Next time I will lan better and have the scone, clotted cream and jam!

Delicious food, hot strong coffee, pleasant service, limited tables, got very busy, nicely decorated venue with lovely views. Would just say the menu is limited. However will definitely be back, clean and bright place to eat

I was told the cake/sweet treats are amazing here. That's true, now checked it myself. Lunch menu, atmosphere and staff are exceptional as well. A must stop place. We will be back soon.

We were recommended to come here for breakfast and we weren't disappointed. Lovely local food and friendly staff. We then had a lovely walk back to our accommodation.

Some of the freshest pints going and fantastic vibes and energy. Lovely spot for a post mountain/walk pint. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent little cafe on the main high street. Very friendly, attentive staff and excellent food and coffee, along with a much appreciated fire during the cold weather. Went twice during our two days visiting.

Came here for breakfast in the summer and really enjoyed it so thought we would go again today. Got a table quickly as there was about five spare if not more. The coffees took 30 minutes to come out then the young girl chucked down the coffee tray, spilling one, didnt say anything and ran off, which led up to a mix up of drinks which resulted in partner not enjoying theirs. I did mention these issues to the girl who served us when paying but she kept saying sorry they are busy, which i mentioned there was alot of people that arrived after us that received there orders before us. Very disappointed 😤

Warm, friendly staff and prompt service. There are some tables at the front but also a lovely room overlooking a small garden through the back with more tables. Dog friendly. We stopped for coffee and cakes (home-made empire biscuit and a scone) but they had a lunch menu which looked good with soup, toasties etc.

What a great meal - Thank you Liz!! It was just so Yummy. The service from Peter was just fantastic. The 4 of us just had a fantastic night. Such a great atmosphere. Good old fashion country hospitality. Thank you all again for a great night.

Great home-style food; really friendly service; good ambience; dog-friendly. This was our first visit and we would definitely return. Very good value overall.

Our daughter is non verbal and is always made welcome and comfortable here. The service and staff are great and friendly. Cosy atmosphere and great food. One of the best cafes we have visited and we have visited many! Please consider becoming a Makaton aware business as that would be the bees knees!

Really pleased to find this hotel restaurant serving food to non-residents early evening (5.30pm), when we were hungry and tired after a day's walking in the Badenoch area. Service was impeccable, the atmosphere friendly, the seating comfortable and food enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to others.
