Popped in for cakes and hot drinks. All were delicious

Had to wait for a table but nice food, coffee and friendly service so worth the wait

Just popped in for a coffee and panini to break the day . Food was really good and the coffee was spot on

Whilst staying nearby, we visited this cafe three times in one week! Food was excellent, atmosphere was lovely (especially with the fireplace, artwork, and fairy lights) and the staff were so warm and friendly - they even gave our pup some chopped up sausage to munch on whilst we ate our breakfasts. Wish we lived closer so we could come more often! Looking forward to visiting again :-)

It looks a bit inconspicuous, but it's worth going in here. Super nice people, good coffee, smaller selection of cakes, separate menus for breakfast and lunch. We came for coffee and came back for breakfast. Furnishings are functional, completely OK. If we were to visit again we should visit Aviemore again. 👍

Small but cozy. Tomato soup was beyond words. I will remember it fondly.

What a little gem of a find towards the end of the high street opposite the likes of Aldi. Great food and service, will be using again before we move on.

Me and my wife had the full Scottish breakfast today with the haggis as an extra. It's our go to place for the best breakfast in town, in fact best breakfast ever that I've had. It's not greasy, doesn't smell like a greasy cafe, it's a clean and perfectly presented!! Great staff that deliver great service and the breakfast is reasonably priced.

Stopped here for lunch on the way up to Nairn. Excellent service and tasty food with friendly staff. They even accommodated my young daughters request for beans on toast which isn't on the lunchtime menu and the portion was huge. Would definitely recommend this café to my friends and family

I took a friend to aviemore while she was up visiting and we stopped here for lunch. The girls serving were amazing. Very friendly and welcoming . The food was lovely and a great price. Will definitely visit this lovely little cafe again. And dog friendly too .

Great little cafe serving huge flavoursome breakfasts. Catered really well for gluten-free needs with eggy bread for example. Worth a visit.

French bread with Bacon was delicious & the kids love the pancakes. After being there last year when we visited Aviemore the kids insisted we went back again this year.

Dog friendly. Breakfast menu finish at 11:30 great coffee and hot chocolate. Soup and sandwich was nice as well. All well worth the money.

Pleasant environment. There is a menu for breakfast and lunch. Dishes range from 8 to 12 pounds and there are plenty of servings. Typical UK food. The service is good and it's great value for money.

Nice, small cafe, seemed very local. Staff very welcoming. Scones which we got weren’t great unfortunately and space need a wee clean up, but would recommend anyway ;)

Cosy wee place, ideal for a snack...I had the panini...could choke a horse. I left stuffed.🙂🙂🙂. They allow dogs and even give them treats.

Breakfast was just what you need to set u up for the day. Staff were lovely & helpful. Dog friendly too - our puppy very much enjoyed her wee treats the staff gave her too

Asked for soup and a roll. Rolls had blue mould growing on them. No refund or price reduction despite this. Place was so crowded that I couldn’t get to my table due to other people sitting so close together. We won’t be going back.

Very nice place to grab a breakfast. Vegetarian breakfast was ace and had the option to upgrade to veggie ‘haggis’ which was a nice touch. The potato pancake things are ace.

Delicious curry parsnip soup. Lemon Madeira cake was succulent. Coffee was spot on. Quick and friendly service.

Visited today for a light lunch. It was at a busy time but staff quickly arranged a table. The service from start to finish was outstanding and a perfect lunch served without delay and reasonably priced. We have visited before and had same result so very worthy of me taking the time to write this review. First class and well done!

The best and cleanest cafe in the village; very friendly staff; excellent breakfasts and lunch. Gets very busy, but worth waiting for.

First visit and def not the last..cosy fire warm welcome and dog friendly... Soup and 1/2 sandwich combo was excellent..lovely home made lentil soup and ham and cheese sandwich on soft wholemeal. Jasper (the husky) loved it especially the chicken the friendly waitress gave him!!!

Excellent food. The coronation chicken panini was very nice. The fries were great and a good portion size. Side salad had a nice dressing. Will definitely be back if passing through the area again.

My wife and I went in for lunch we both had the curried parsnip soup and it was delicious. I had a egg mayonnaise sandwich while my wife had coronation chicken these were also excellent. Everything was homemade and the service was excellent. We will definitely return when in the area.

I went on a camping trip around Scotland with my now husband and we just started talking about this place. I think about this breakfast quite often, it live rent free in my head. Honestly one of the most memorable and delicious breakfasts I've ever had and the black pudding was incredible. I had to find the cafe again and leave a review to say thank you for being amazing x

First time here in a while, and it was as good as previously. I'd suggest a dehumidifier might be a good idea to keep the window clear, plus also an illuminated open sign in the window as it's hard to tell it's actually open.

Popped in for lunch on the way back home from a week in Scotland, Waitress was really friendly, food excellent and very dog friendly, looking forward to visiting again next year when in Scotland

Stopped here for a quick snack for lunch. We had carrot and coriander soup and a plate of chips which were equally delicious.

Such a wee gem on the edge of Aviemore toon. The staff are extremely friendly and welcomed us to sit immediately. The food was top-notch and throughly enjoyable. I'll definitely be going back when I next visit Aviemore....

We’ve eaten in most of the cafes and restaurants in Aviemore over the year and we absolutely loved the coffee pot. The food was great, very tasty, homely and the price very reasonable. We took home some home bakes which were delicious (brownies, yum). As others have commented the service is extremely friendly and welcoming which is probably the reason why the place was full with locals and visitors. We’d defo come back and recommend the coffee pot.

Family lunch, nice atmosphere, food was excellent. Homemade soup was super as were sandwiches. Great portions, kids also happy. Had to sample some cake with coffee. Ace also! Thank you!

Lovely little cafe. The staff were by far the nicest we have met in a long time! The food was delicious and came out quickly. We had full Scottish breakfasts, white coffee, and a glass of juice each. Bill came to less than £30, would definitely return. Honestly, a lovely little cafe with the nicest staff you could ask for.

Fantastic breakfast at the coffee pot, staff were all really friendly. We had the veggie sausage roll and a full Scottish breakfast, both were delicious.

Ordered 2 rolls on egg to takeaway was shocked when I heard the price of £7.90 I found this to be on the expensive side for what it is certainly won't be back in there again don't mind paying a wee bit extra but thats ridiculous!!

In Scotland to visit my sister and stopped for a cup of tea at Aviemore. Looking at menu saw bacon and brie paninis. We like these at home in England so ordered two. OMG. When they arrived it was obvious they were twice as big as English version, with twice as much salad and with homemade coleslaw. On top of this a huge portion of chips that we don't get at home. They tasted fantastic the best we've ever had. 5 stars not enough. Just a shame we have to wait a year before I can try the rest of the menu.

We went for a breakfast yesterday and had a great experience. All cooked really well and very filling. Staff were really friendly and dogs are allowed in and get spoilt. Perfect.

My wife and I had had a long day of travel, picking up a rental car and taking our first Scottish driving adventure from Edinburgh to Aviemore. We got in early and decided to grab a bite as we were both famished. I had a pesto, mozzarella, and tomato panini with chips, coleslaw and salad, while my wife had a bacon, brie and cranberry panini with the same sides. The sandwiches and chips were hot and fresh and delicious. The salad was decent as well. My only preference would've been colder cole slaw, but that's just personal taste. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and all in all it was a very positive experience.

Place was very busy when we went,They took our order inside and we sat outside,About 40 mins later they came out and it seemed they had forgot to put our order in,Eventually we got our food,Which was a roll with square sausage and tattie scone and a roll with square sausage wirh haggis,We waited ages but the food was great,probably the best haggis I've ever tasted,Would definitely go back,Won't blame the staff for the mix up as it was so busy

One of the best scottish breakfast me and my partner have ever had. The standard of breakfast was matched by the friendly service and very reasonable price for the quality of the food.

Great sunny and dog friendly lunch spot

Met up here with some friends heading north, service was OK and food was very good. All in our party were happy with the atmosphere and food. Only problem was food came without the cutlery and the one dessert was eaten with hands as staff were too preoccupied to attract attention. Shame that small things could make such a difference.

Had the most gorgeous pea and ham soup with crusty bread for lunch here. Really friendly staff.

We got the soup of the day with a sandwich and the soup of the day with bread. And butter. We had a quick bite here. We choose chicken tikka salad on the sandwich it came with a salad and some kind of relish or chutney which I could not place but tasted very good. Service is fast and it looks very cosy. Particular in winter time. The prices are very reasonable. Tea was good. Rather a small pot but it was enough for us.

Une bonne soupe aux poireaux et pommes de terre, avec un petit pain grillé tout chaud, rien de tel pour nous réchauffer dans cette humidité tellement écossaise, avant de repartir sur la route de Cairngorm Park. Service rapide, ambiance bikers car c'était le week-end de la convention Harley-Davidson. Un bon moment !

Popped on way home to Glasgow for breakfast and decided to go for the full Scottish, plus pay extra for slice haggis. The price included slice of toast and a juice but would have preferred to have had the tea which was priced separate? All in all, good food and a good feed if hungry, but the square sausage was not the best and would have preferred a link sausage? Lots on the plate that the beans were all on the base under everything else. The service was very good with waitresses 3 times coming to table to check if all was good with us and if there was anything else required. My husband thought bit too much but I thought it was good as they showed they were trying real hard to please.

Stopped for lunch when we arrived in Aviemore, didn’t plan just stopped at the first place we saw that also had appropriate food for our fussy 4 year old! They went out the way and made him a jam sandwich that he asked for, I had the soup and sandwich, my wife had a sandwich, all round great lunch 👍

Good place for a quick bite, sadly the coffee wasn’t very good (compared to specialty spots). The food was ok, the full Scottish definitely satisfied our appetite and the service was very friendly.
