The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Highlands and Islands

I am surprised by the number of poor reviews of this cafe. My experience here today was excellent. There is set meal for Sunday lunch. Today it was turkey and all the trimmings. Very simple but very good and good to see proper home cooking and good service. Booking is needed but as it is a small family run place that is understanable. Highly recommended.

A good cafe for breakfast and lunches serving basic fare ( everything with chips !) and home baking. Open from 8.30 am until last food orders at 3 pm. I had a bacon and black pudding roll which contained a substantial slice of Stornoway black pudding. Waited 20 minutes for it despite the cafe being almost empty. The cafe has an outdoor deck with views over the sea and it is adjacent to the Kilbride campsite.It has free WiFi.

Had some disappointing coffee experiences, so my expectations were low. A pleasant surprise - this is the best flat white in Shetlands.

Me and my partner stayed here and on our first night we ordered food. Oh my god the food was amazing. Service was giving with a smile also.

Really lovely cafe, great menu and reasonably priced. The food was amazing and would definitely highly recommend the prawns and fish! Generous portions so be sure to leave some room for the fabulous cakes…. Or get a slice to go!

El café era agradable, pero había un miembro del personal que era excepcionalmente grosero, con un servicio al cliente extremadamente pobre. Ella sabía que estábamos esperando, incluso hicimos contacto visual dos veces mientras procedía a alfarero sin hacer nada mientras esperábamos, y una cola de otros se formó detrás de nosotros. Finalmente, el pobre barista que ya se había levantado de los pies recibió las órdenes de todos mientras este miembro del personal charlaba con la gente en la cocina y bebía agua.

Called in after driving over Applecross pass, great friendly service, terrific coffee and cake. Highly recommended.

Pochi kilometri dopo l'attracco del traghetto , ci si imbatte in questa struttura condivisa con un piccolo negozio di alimentari . Ottima scelta di zuppe e insalate ( quelle di pesce molto buone ) . Ambiente famigliare e molto cordiale . Veramente consigliato

We had a lovely trip out to this garden centre today. Beautifully laid out with a great choice of plants. What prompted me to come here and leave a review was the truly excellent staff in the coffee shop. One lady in particular was so warm and welcoming. She obviously has a great rapport with her cafe colleagues too and together they create a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy your treats! Well done folks- you deserve all the acknowledgements and rewards that hopefully come your way. Keep up the high standards!

¡Qué pobre! Este solía ser mi lugar. No he estado por un tiempo pero recuerden que el pollo coronado consistía en trozos de pollo en una salsa NO lo que recibí hoy, que eran balsas de mayonesa con pequeños trozos de pollo. ¡Muy decepcionado!

Our daughter is non verbal and is always made welcome and comfortable here. The service and staff are great and friendly. Cosy atmosphere and great food. One of the best cafes we have visited and we have visited many! Please consider becoming a Makaton aware business as that would be the bees knees!

Really pleased to find this hotel restaurant serving food to non-residents early evening (5.30pm), when we were hungry and tired after a day's walking in the Badenoch area. Service was impeccable, the atmosphere friendly, the seating comfortable and food enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to others.

Thank you again had a very lovely tuna melt with three sides was by a young lady who was extremely friendly and helpful. Also had a white mars tiffin which was delicious and very tasty.

¡Un verdadero placer tener un menú vegano exclusivo con una gran variedad de opciones! Tuve una envoltura tostada de tofu, hummus y verduras y el amable personal le preparó a mi esposo no vegano una tostada de queso normal, que era una solicitud fuera del menú. Muy buena comida y excelente ubicación.

We came twice on our short trip nearby- on the Monday it was the only place open that allowed dogs, and on the Tuesday because we liked it so much the day before! We had breakfast both days and were pleased they offered gluten free options! A great variety of gluten free and vegan cakes on offer too. The coffee was lovely and was what drew us back the next day. It was clearly popular as all tables were full both times! Thanks again and if we are ever in this area we would come back :)
