Lettuce Eat in Highland

So poor.! This used to be my go to place. I haven't been for a while but remember coronation chicken consisted of chunks of chicken in a sauce NOT what I received today, which was rafts of mayonnaise with tiny pieces of chicken. Very disappointed!

Went here lunchtime 17th may. The staff are welcoming , efficient and very friendly. There’s a few tables outside which had the sun shining on them. The food is fresh and great value. Highly recommended

Great sandwich bar, big portions for little money. Had bake potatoes with toppings that includes salad, really filling. Nice coffee as well.

Inverness is very lucky to have Lettuce Eat. Fresh produce freshly prepared and great value. I had the coronation chicken salad box with lots of salads and vegetables followed by the irresistible rocky road. I know, one healthy option to the other!! Thank you

Haven't been here for a while so I popped in to get a prawn salad box and soup. The food was as delicious as I remembered but I was stunned by the value for less than a fiver. Great food and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Tried sandwiches, soups, and jacket potatoes and every single thing was absolutely delicious! It was so good and so incredibly reasonably priced that we went back 2 more times :) It's a take your food and go place though, no seating available.

Good takeaway for lunch. Plenty of choice of sandwich fillings and quick service. It's really cheap too and good portions. I go here regularly now on my work break

The best sandwich place in town. I see a “terrible” review because you can’t sit in… but it’s a takeaway!! Anyway, cannot rate it high enough, delicious rolls and soup. Never had anything but 10/10 food and service!

First time I've been here in years, great friendly socially distanced service and as usual a baguette that was stuffed to the brim with godliness! Can't wait to take my friends and family here once this virus malarkey is over and done with.

I have been going to this sandwich shop on & off for over 25 years getting the same sandwich, love it can't get the same anywhere else shame it shuts at 3pm but worth going.

Well where to begin, the selection of food on offer is great the staff are very very helpful and the price, for the portion size is really good. Well worth a visit great quality.

Woman who has served me multiple times she does not wear any gloves and it’s very unhygienic as she would take money from the customer in front and then go ahead and touch the food without washing her hands, so gloves should be worn!

The coronation chicken was really nice with a generous portion of salad. The white bread and cheese was not very nice. Benefit of the doubt though!

This is the locals choice for Lunch time sandwiches , always filled to bursting with the usual and not so usual fillings . . Hot soup and salads also make the menu and are excellent value for money

Cuando vivía en Inverness, solía visitar esta tienda de sándwiches al menos dos veces por semana durante un período de 5 años. Desde que me mudé a Yorkshire, me doy cuenta de lo mucho que lo echo de menos: no he encontrado ningún lugar en Leeds o York, lo cual es una coincidencia. El personal es siempre muy amable y las porciones son tan generosas, con una excelente relación calidad-precio. Afortunadamente, volveré a Inverness de vacaciones unas cuantas veces durante 2019. ¡Sigue con el buen trabajo y asegúrate de no quedarse sin baguettes marrones!

The vegetable broth is delicious and only £1.10! I Will definitely be having that again the other food looks great too

Great wee place, nice soup, baguettes and baked potatoes all pretty cheap in comparison to similar places. Staff are friendly and service is pretty quick even when it’s busy.

Get my lunch here a couple of times a week - can’t fault it - great value and great service. Also use it for outside catering for large work meetings - excellent quality.

I have been eating here, occasionally, since Lettuce Eat opened in 19 oatcake! I have recently started working in town again and have been there a couple of times in the last two months and I am DELIGHTED to say that nothing has changed since they first opened. Great sandwiches/salad boxes filled to the brim and fantastic value. Local firm at it's best - you simply could not wish for anything better! If you are a tourist visiting Inverness and looking for a day time snack on a budget then come here! If you by pass this and go to anywhere else then …. well, you're an idiot!

Always good value for money. I tend to buy from here all the time when we have meetings and also for anything else that I need. Loads of fresh fillings at a very reasonable price.

I dont often go here, but was in a hurry, so called in.There is not a huge selection of fillings, but what they do have is very good and value for money. The service is quick, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Me encanta esta pequeña joya. El personal siempre es muy amable, nunca tuvo una experiencia menos que buena con ellos. Siempre son útiles con recomendaciones. Las opciones de comida son muy vegetarianas, lo cual es ideal para un vegetariano que ama la comida sana como yo. Fantásticos sándwiches y el ambiente agradable y feliz en general aquí completan la belleza de la misma.

Para el sándwich de mejor precio y decente en movimiento en Inverness, este es el lugar para ir. Sin lujos pero me encanta cómo el personal siempre está teniendo una broma en algo y siempre alegre. La sopa también es agradable, nada lujoso pero de calidad, rápido y barato.

Staff are nice and they do great hoagies here a definite favourite for lunch in Inverness! No sit-in facilities.

I go to Lettuce Eat regularly as I work in Inverness. the food is lovely, such a choice to choose from! I particularly love the baked potatoes. Everything is such great value too. Highly recommend! Friendly staff too :)

La comida es excelente, lleno de sándwiches rellenos, fresco y delicioso, con mucha variedad, sopa caliente y de igual forma deliciosa, rápida atención amable y eficiente, tiene que ser! Yo diría que este es mejor que la corona y porciones de delicatessen para elección aunque también es excelente.

Estado viniendo aquí regularmente durante los últimos 4 años, me encanta la comida, pero el nivel de servicio es realmente decepcionante. Nunca han hecho sentir por la mayoría del personal de recepción, no hay conversación, a pesar de ordenar cada vez exactamente lo mismo todavía tiene que especificar en cada ocasión. En mi trabajo si veo el cliente mismo 3 veces que me pregunte sus nombres, tenga en cuenta sus preferencias, aprender algo sobre ellos. Por desgracia, no volveré.

Popped in for lunch. Sandwich seemed ok until 10mins later. Don't think the coleslaw or egg mayo was right as I felt very ill immediately after. Won't be back again I'm afraid

Popped in her for a sandwich. No seating area and small in side but very good sandwich and very cheap. The sandwich had plenty of filling for the price would defiantly be back. Friendly staff which is a bonus

Came across this sandwich shop whilst we were exploring Inverness on holiday. We decided on bacon sandwiches which were provided in nice bread and contained decent pieces of tasty bacon. A small issue for both of us was that the bacon was only "warm" as opposed to "hot" when supplied otherwise I would have given top marks.

He tenido sándwiches desde aquí muchas veces y siempre he estado contento con el recién hecho sándwiches con un montón de llenado y a un buen precio, recomendaría a todos.

Pasó por aquí con mi novia y amigo para un bocado rápido para comer un día. Había estado aquí un par de veces en los últimos años así que tipo de sabía lo que me esperaba. El menú es excelente que ofrece una gran variedad de sándwiches, patatas asadas y baguettes. Pedimos un bocadillo de pollo, mayonesa y pedimos queso, que a pesar de no conseguir el queso, fue uno de los mejores sándwiches que he tenido en mucho tiempo.

Huge, tasty sandwiches with whatever you want as a filling. Beats your supermarket rubbish any day. Lovely thick fresh bread with a multitude of fresh fillings to choose from. Well worth the money.

This place is by far the best sandwich shop in Inverness. They have a large range of fillings as well as sandwiches etc which come fully packed. They also do baked tatties and soup which is delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Chicken/cheese salad box with sweet chilli sauce or brown hoagie with egg mayo and chicken are my favourites. Canna beat it for value and taste. Been going there since it opened in the year dot. Keep it up people.

It was very short notice, we were panicking - lunch for 20 hungry children, within the next few hours - what to do? I phoned Lettuce Eat - nothing was a problem, although they were busy, they took the time to reassure me that my order of sandwiches and tray bakes would be delivered on time to our venue. We spoke about fillings, nut allergies, dairy intolerance, and so on.. I never knew how much planning goes into making sandwiches, and boy what a responsibility! It turned out Grere was so right, there were kids who did not like butter, several who had nut allergies, well, we had it all in hand and labelled! This place is brilliant. The value and amount you get is amazing. The soups are always lovely and at £1 you cannot go wrong. I also love the scrambled egg roll. Such a great place and the staff are nice as well.

Mmmm, scrummy lunch time fare, the baked potatoes are delicious with an amazing array of fillings and all so fresh. The homemade soup is fab just like my mother used to make.

The best sandwich shop in Inverness by a country mile. If I forget to take lunch in with me from home then Lettuce Eat is my go-to place for a sandwich or wrap. Be warned though, when they ask if you want 'all the salad' you get all the salad! The subs are stuffed to the gunnels and I've seen me eating it with a fork. The soup is to be recommended too. I can't think of many other places where you get soup and a sandwich for well under £4 either

having tried several sandwich shops in the town of Inverness , this must be the best by far , quality and quantity first class ,, salad boxes are to die for , all the staff are lovely very pleasant , very clean shop ,, highly recommended

They don't serve posh nosh or cater to high end demands but instead make simple, healthy sandwiches and soups really well. They're always crammed with your choice of fresh fillings and give great value for money.

Shop is however a little small for it's popularity now and could do with expanding if the opportunity should arrise. They may get to extend their already good (but small) menu too. Worth a visit for sure

Fantastic place best place in. Inverness for healthy food and comes in abundance you get more than u pay for here it's fantastic always get a salad box packed with my favourite vegetables and it's as cheap as chips literally just awesome

I come here for lunch very often and am never dissapointed. Ingredients are all very fresh and taste delicious and the homemade soup is to die for! The price is very low for such great quality, and there is a great variation for sandwiches, soft rolls, wraps and bakes potatoes.

We found this wee shop by chance and wewere lucky they hadn´t already closed! It was 03:25 pm.Our wrap with sweet chilli sauce, bacon, sausage and cheese was just lovely!We really enjoyed it very much! Very friendly stuff, tasty food for excellent price!We highly recommend this take away shop!!!!

Excellent value for money portions are big and the ingredients are super fresh I've eaten here many times and not once had a bad experience! Staff are also friendly and helpful very highly recommended.

Came across Lettuce Eat a few years back whilst working in the city. Ordered a baguette and it was so good that I am loath to visit any other sandwich bar in the city. Fresh ingredients and very generous helpings at a very affordable price, nice friendly staff too. I would recommend you ask them to cut your sandwich in half, it'll be a lot easier to handle.Enjoy!

Don't be put off by the exterior design, lettuce eat is possibly the best place in Inverness to get a good value sandwich and just lunch in general, ordered a baguette and came absolutely stuffed with fillings, just what I wanted.

This sandwich shop is tiny, but it is worth waiting if there is queue (which they get through so efficiently and politely). Their sandwiches are the best I've tasted and fantastic value. Ive been going here since the early 1990's since they opened, and the quality has not wavered. I now have my two kids going here too when they're in town with their friends, and my son said of a basic cheese sandwich that it was amazing lol! Next time you're passing and are peckish - pop in - you won't be disappointed. :)
