Overcharged for the meal deal. Didn't say anything. Food came. Watery and tasteless soup, and a sandwich that fell apart and still tasted like nothing. I politely asked for the food to be swapped. Had the lasagne instead - wouldn't eat it again. Left without complaining and said a friendly goodbye to the guy with long black hair who completely blanked me but looked right at me as I was walking out. The place needs a new owner with some vision and personality. Waste of time and money.

Was in earlier today, immediate impression was a bad one. For a start the (only) staff member there was indifferent and unfriendly. As a result I felt very uncomfortable and it was apparent this individual just didn't want to be there, or just didn't appreciate their customers. The place itself is a bit shabby and badly needs a makeover. Given that there's plenty of other cafes nearby, I would recommend people go elsewhere.

I don’t think I have enough space to fit this into 100 words! Unfortunately I have a medical problem for which I’ve been advised to stick to a “Fodmap” I thought I would never be able to go for dinner with my husband. I called the evening before when a very lovely member of the team asked me to email my food restrictions to her which she gave to Chef Lewis When we arrived for our booking we sat in the gorgeous lounge and was advised that the chef would come to speak to me. Chef Lewis sat with us and went through the menu. I chose to have a rib eye steak, chips, carrots and a lovely tomato salad. I was delighted the steak was melt in your mouth and cooked to perfection, it was all perfect. My husbands food was excellent too. We had a lovely Valentines dinner thanks to the fabulous caring team and fantastic Chef Lewis. We can’t put into words just how much we appreciated your time and for making it a special evening for us. We have booked a table for 5 people for Mother’s Day. No need for a menu for me, same again Lewis. 🥰 We have been to many restaurants all over the World and we have never received the outstanding service, care and attention we received from Chef Lewis and the rest of his team. Stopped in for a coffee, two lovely ladies served me quickly. The owner was very friendly and spoke to me about the lovely art on the wall. Would recommend :)

Como en toda Gran Bretaña, este Costa brinda lo esperado... este local en particular se encuentra en la estación de Waverley, desde parten los trenes hacia Inglaterra.

Very nice place to eat and the food was of excellent quality but it is expensive for what it is offered. Only really for special occasions.

Showed up @ 1245 for Sunday roast & they were shut (sign says they open at 12). Went some where else instead

We wanted to have fish and chips for lunch and walked into the restaurant, but the staff immediately treated us as if we had made a huge mistake. They urgently asked us to leave because we had a child with us, as children were not allowed. While I understand that rules are rules, the way they handled the situation was unnecessarily harsh and definitely unfriendly. Very strange behavior!

The food was delicious, but the service was very inattentive. We had to wait forever to place our order. We weren't informed that service would stop after 9 p.m. Instead, you have to pay at the bar first, and if you want another drink, you also have to order at the bar. It would have been courteous if we had been told this, as we waited over half an hour for a server. Furthermore, the bartender quickly became annoyed when my card didn't respond to payment promptly. So, I don't see any need for a service charge. The food was still great, but the service was unlike anything I've ever experienced. Therefore, I won't be visiting this bar again. There are much better bars in Edinburgh!

This was my first meal out for 15 months and what a disappointment. Firstly the non-alcoholic drinks a swizz. Raspberry Soda, more ice with some flavour. The food is amateur and ridiculously priced. Service was slow and sadly lacking in the realities of COVID. A shame, as I was looking forward to food I had not cooked.

£24 for 2 wine spritzers, wasn’t that nice either absolute ripoff

Primera visita a un Costa Coffee. Había recibido una tarjeta de regalo, así que entré a darme un capricho. Bonito ambiente relajado, no demasiado ocupado, buena variedad de sabores, dulces, bebidas. Una encantadora dama llamada Anna era mi servidora. Ella era muy agradable, agradable y educado. Mi comida fue llevada a mi mesa, y Anna incluso me ayudó a poner mi bolsa de la compra en un asiento para mantenerla fuera del piso. Tuve un buen rato relajante, y agradecí a Anna al salir, diciendo que iba a revisar. Entonces, Anna, gracias de nuevo por su excelente servicio al cliente!
