We ate in here twice, bar food very good, good sized portions and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere and staff helpful.

Clean. Friendly and efficient staff. Good ambience. Food, fresh and nice . Had a good meal here. Wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Lovely clean bar, quiet, friendly staff, good prices. Last orders half 10 as in a residential area. Music played low in background.

Had a couple of meals here in the evening and the food was always good, with great service, and socially distanced tables. Nice tables out the front in the fresh air too with the added bonus of sunshine when we stayed.

Reasonable prices for a hotel ba, friendly and helpful staff, booked us a table in the Bistro for the evening. No real Ale (sad) Fair selection of single malts with a "Managers special "

Nous sommes restés deux soirs à l'hotel BW KMH et avons testé les deux restaurants. Celui ci est un peu plus calme avec des plats plus raffinés.

i stopped in while at the hotel next door the menu was good, plenty of choices the food was well cooked and tasty the service was brillaint

We had our evening meal after having a swim etc in leasure centre. Good choice on menu, we had something different each night.

Came in for a quick meal after a long journey - it was OK, but not wonderful, just had pizzas which again were OK not wonderful. Useful for fuelling up but not for a special night out!

We went in and were asked to leave as no under 18 year olds were allowed and we had our little one with us. Felt quite strange to be in a family hotel, during the day and not being able to sit to have a drink. It's quite small and drab anyway, so I wont be going back!

Bediening soms wat popie jopie maar zal wel goed bedoeld zijn. Verder niks op aan te merken. Konden er goed eten al was de kaart wat bijzonder.

No atmosphere what with the tellys on and all that but the sports and 24 hours news must make the usual barfly hangers on happy.

Lovely clean place, well staffed with a decent menu. We had a lovely meal and will gladly visit again.

Too many locals gathered around the bar and very average quality of staff serving, there appeared to be nobody in charge?

Food lovely and loads of flavour. Staff very friendly. Large group and we all ate at the same time. Quality of food excellent all round.

OK if you like football on TV all time - could be difficult to get to bar with people seated at it. Seating outside if weather fine, but could be overrun with smokers!!

The bar food was of great quality, but some of the menu options were a "high-brow" also the menu would have soon become boring if I had stayed more nights. Maybe its Me but a few more standard favorites would be good

Utilizaba este bar cuando se aloje en el hotel contiguo. El personal es muy amable y servicial. El menú es pequeño pero adecuadamente variado para satisfacer a todos los gustos. La comida es tasy y en grandes porciones que pueden ser quitados si demasiado. Ambiente agradable con la música de fondo/TV no demasiado tarde para una conversación pero lo suficientemente ruidoso para entretener.

Nice surroundings, staff friendly and noted local residents appear to use BarZest which is a good thing.

I enjoyed the food very much as Bar Zest has gluten free products so I could have a pasta dish. The service is attentive and friendly.

Very good food, not a wide choice on the menu, which makes the decision easier.. Steak and Ale pie was to die for, awesome chunks of melt in the mouth steak... And very good on prices too.

Ate here as it adjoins the hotel we were staying at.Prices are reasonable and the soup I had was extremely tasty and filling. My wife had a baked potato which for some reason was totally bland - probably to do with the season!

Nice friendly atmosphere and a good pint! Definitely worth a pop in, furnishing are very comfortable and the two televisions are great for sport or news. The toilets are very clean. And the staff approachable. Also very hand if you are stopping at the hotel.

We just called in for a snack but found the kitchens were closed between 2.30m and 6.00pm so full menu not available, only sandwiches and baked potatoes, as we only wanted a snack my husband had a ham sandwich and I had a baked potato with cheese, both came with salad. Excellent quick service

Excellent food and reasonable prices. Not like your normal rip off prices in some hotels. Staff were excellent and nothing was too much of a problem for them.

I am stopping I the hotel and the only thing I can't complain about in the bar/restaurant is that they charge 75p for onions on your burger. But in the bigger picture that's nothing. Atmosphere is nice and modern, staff are helpful and food is v good. Good choice!

I had fajitas at only £8.50 it was very filling and tasty. Lots of nice choices on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. The setting is very relaxed and informal and newspapers were available for customers.

I highly rec. this place. The staff are very friendly and quick. The drinks are always topped up and the food is somewhat enjyoable., Everyone is nice here and the vibe is usually good.

even if you are in the hotel, you get harased and kicked out.Beer is over priced and poorly kept and the TVs blare sky sports news out in more blur than anything else... STAY AWAY... DRINK ELSEWHERE

Decided to call into my local Best Western hotel for a bite to eat one sunday and will not be returning again. After taking 10 minutes to be served in the Zest Bistro to get a drink (note there were no other patrons waiting to be served) I also ordered the home made burger with cheese bacon and chips. 30 minutes at least has passed before I was served with my food. Disappointed to say the least the burger was not cooked through, some pink meat throughout, I thought after taking so long it would at least be cooked, the burger was homemade but tasted poor. Unfortunately my visit was made worse by the locals who showed little disregard for the patrons by smoking in the hotel foyer which wafted into the restaurant and the door the restaurant was malfunctioning and kept opening. The staff did not seem to fussed about this on occasions talking-to the smokers. Will not be returning for the poor service or facilities.The Zest bistro is fresh inside, nicely decorated and not looking aged or tired.
