Great traditional bar with fantastic beers, wines and whisky. Bar team are really friendly, the atmosphere is condusive to chat as no banging music! Great little find, close to our weekend accommodation

Este es un encantador bar tradicional, situado en el lado sur de Edimburgo. Es un hito de Edimburgo para los verdaderos ales. No se sirve comida aquí, que es genial (no huele a comida). El personal experimentado es excelente. Shirley & Malcolm son estrellas. También es posible reservar mesas. Como está justo enfrente del restaurante chino Kwok, es muy conveniente. Un gran pub local. Un viejo pub histórico en la Guía Good Ale. Los perros en plomo también son bienvenidos.

Felt very intimidated when I walked in to use toilet and then purchase an item. Woman with blonde hair in a ponytail shouted at me and was very rude and making faces at me for using the toilet first after stating I was going to buy an item. Before being so concerned about you toilet use, you should probably have a look at your customer service :)

Envolturas vegetarianas y veganas de gran valor. Hermosos jugos y batidos frescos y sabrosos. Un montón de espacio, gran servicio. . Y agua directamente a la mesa.

Una cálida bienvenida por parte de los anfitriones de este precioso bed and breakfast de Edimburgo. Habitación excepcionalmente limpia y acogedora. Ropa de cama y toallas de muy buena calidad. No hay nada que pueda criticar a Aaron Lodge. Estamos muy contentos de haber encontrado esta "joya" y sin duda no dudaríamos en recomendarla a cualquiera que desee un lugar limpio y cómodo para disfrutar explorando la ciudad. I've known Machina since its early, rustic days in the former Tollcross venue. Then it evolved into a sleeker operation, and now, in Marchmont, it's at its sleekest. Large, very nicely designed multi-room environment, beautiful varied displays pf coffee equipment, in sum an appealing place to sit in and sip your coffee and perhaps savour one of the nice-looking sweets. What about the coffee itself? It used to be superb. Now, it is still ]good and well-executed, but the blend they served seemed a little more ordinary to me. Maybe cost-control, maybe my tastes have evolved, the fact is that I no longer find the coffee here to be at the same top-top level. But, I repeat, it is certainly very good. Prices are very high. Staff varies: I've met some friendly and competent, others disengaged and not well-informed. There is a policy that regulates the use of laptops - perfectly understandable in view of the tendency of many people to use coffee shops to get a workplace where to stay half a day on the cheap.

I went here whilst on my break to Edinburgh. I was truly impressed with the service and quality of food . I had a vegan Scottish breakfast and a lovely unicorn cake . Food was delicious and presented very well 👌 would definitely recommend and will probably visit here again on my next trip to Edinburgh.

Pretty good. Very friendly staff and a nice shop connected to it where you can get fresh fruit and veg. Plenty of options including vegan. Nice options for small children too.

I had took my son a trip to the museum which isn’t far from this cafe on Friday My son was overwhelmed as the town was quite busy i stopped to get him chips as I knew he would calm down if we got some food The reception i received was absolutely disgusting I left and cried for the way you made me feel My son was having a hard time yes he’s noisy he’s disabled non verbal autistic The way your server woman looked at us with disgust It’s discrimination I won’t be leaving this here I also suffer from severe anxiety so Thankyou for making me feel awkward to the point I asked if I should Leave with my son

Hermoso café y tan agradable de encontrar una cafetería que permite la entrada de perros. Estábamos cansados de los pies y no permitíamos la entrada de perros y era un día de frío amargo y la perspectiva de comer fuera no era atractiva. Cayó sobre este café por pura casualidad y tan contento. Preciosa selección de pasteles y opciones sin gluten. El personal era muy amable e incluso vino y preguntó si nuestro cachorro podía tener una galleta. Muy recomendable.

This charming cafe, with welcoming staff, great coffee and moreish cakes is our first stop before the Rugby.

I love this café. Great menu, tasty food, and friendly staff. I was studying with a couple of friends and they were more than happy for us to be there, which is unusual for cafes who usually try kicking you out if you have a laptop. I had the granola bowl which was so tasty and great value for money. I will be back soon
