Really enjoyed the Steak Pie tonight but they still can't serve coffee in the bar after 8pm. A great shame as their coffee is also really good.

Found a table without to much trouble. The food was fresh and well wrapped. Good coffee and everything looked clean and tidy.

My mother and I went into con panna because we had time to wait for a bus. Inside is table service. We were ignored for about 5 minutes despite 3 staff members standing doing nothing. Our oder was finally taken one coffee, one juice and 2 cakes. We waited 25 minutes and our order didn't arrive and we left. Disappointed because I do like con panna but to sit and watch over 5 members of staff doing nothing was a bit much. Won't be rushing back I'm afraid

Lovely lunch great service and food in stunning surroundings. I travel with guests will definitely suggest staying and dining here.

Staff both attentive and friendly. Lovely quiet comfortable place to enjoy a drink or an excellent coffee.

What a glorious day we had at Thornton Golf Course, clubhouse and restaurant. The new catering team were fantastic. Home cooked food from fresh, using local suppliers. If you live in Thornton what a great asset to have on your doorstep. We will be back to play and eat as we've found a hidden gem. Thanks to Yvonne and her team for looking after us.

Yorkshire puddings were lovely carrots too! Potatoes were crunchy and the roast ones tasted like they were sitting for a while, cauliflower cheese even after mentioning it to a member of staff who was adamant there is plenty of cheese in the sauce - just tasted like boiled cauliflower. Roast beef was decent with the lukewarm water gravy. Was absolutely shocked to see £4.95 each for 2 pints of apple juice are you insane?? Place was packed but for £12.95 for a full plate was fair. All in all we spent almost £40 for 2.

Had a function at the hotel with a lot of guests staying over, really accommodating with great service quality room and amazing food

Ordered a cheese toastie and a nacho chase toastie. Only the cheese toastie arrived and they wrote a note saying no nacho toastie but still took my money on deliveroo. Why didn't you just give me two cheese toasties then?? Now me and my partner are sharing one toastie

We go here very often and usually have no complaints. Was in today however and the female server obviously couldn’t be bothered. Unfriendly, no smiles, no please, no thank you and a luke warm coffee. She was mono syllabic. This individual has served me before and I’ve just put up with it but today was just terrible.

Advice - check the product you want from hot beveridge machine is available before buying refil cups. We bought 2 cups. Only to find hot chocolate wasn't working. (No sign saying it was off). Asked for a refund , young female manager refused and was very rude. She'd rather argue the toss with 2 customers on a busy saturday rather than refund a measly £3. No gon back.

A busy trendy little place(especially as it is Sunday). Friendly owners and staff with top notch service provided. A great bespoke menu offering a varied selection. A good experience. Fully recommended.
