What a glorious day we had at Thornton Golf Course, clubhouse and restaurant. The new catering team were fantastic. Home cooked food from fresh, using local suppliers. If you live in Thornton what a great asset to have on your doorstep. We will be back to play and eat as we've found a hidden gem. Thanks to Yvonne and her team for looking after us.

Lovely place, good food and pleasant staff

Amazing service, Gorgeous food, presentation was better than expected and prices were beyond reasonable for what you receive! The Matcha Latte was the best we've had so far. It was made with the perfect amount of vanilla and the latte art is impressive. The sea salt and chocolate cookie was lovely also. We enjoyed our experience and will return 100%! We noticed it was busy during our experience and we can understand why no table was ever quiet for long....the staff managed this very well. Thank you Wynd. You made our day.

Good price for food and is a nice clean hotel

Staff always very friendly, coffee is always hot, and the bathrooms are (inexplicably, compared to other Costas) always immaculately clean.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff providing well cooked and presented food from a short enough menu to ensure fresh cooking throughout. Lemon tart with blueberry coulis was a standout and all With the best 180 views in the town.

Ordered a Cortado coffee. Had to take it back 3 times as they (2 female staff) didn't know how to make a Cortado. It was like a weak late. So sickly. Disgusting.Staff were Adamant it was correct. Shocking.

Popped along to see if we could have a table for two for a birthday lunch, after asking if there was a table available the dark haired girl said off course, and showed us to a table handed us two menus told us the soup of today, and, left ………… 15-20 mins later still sitting waiting for our order to be taken, meanwhile another couple comes in and lie and behold we’re actually served before us? An elderly lady at the table in front of ours got up and walked up to the bar where the waitresses and a guy were talking and had to ask for there table to be cleared after they had been finished there main for some time … when waitress came over to clear the table it was then she noticed she had never came back to us! Not even to see if we wanted a drink? Apologised cleared the table in front, instead of going into the kitchen with dirty dishes she went round towards the shop, came back with said dishes and another waitress in tow who then addressed our table! Unfortunately by this time I was very much aware that our custom was obviously not good enough, as waitress asked if we were ready to order, I said yes but that was ages ago, had I known you were busier doing other things as the restaurant was not busy, clearly I will take my custom elsewhere Thankyou but no Thankyou! We left and proceeded to Kirkcaldy to the Abotsford hotel where the service, staff and food were worth every penny! Will I be back to Wellsgreen NO!

Nice playpark for kids with various animals around. Cafe and farmshop well stocked with a variety of products. Cycle path goes all the way from dunfermline which is a bonus
