Below average food and poor customer service. Second time I've been here and definitely the last. No care or consideration for the guests money or their time. Very disappointed with the service, especially from the woman with black hair and cheap jail house tattoos

11 years since we were last at this caravan site and the food offering has vastly improved. The Braes is a lovely, homely restaurant serving good food. The staff are friendly and happy and the restaurant is laid out really well. Would highly recommend!

Rude staff. Had to ask twice for our table to be cleaned as there was plates/glasses left on it from the previous customers. Food wait was 45 mins and they had forgot to put through one of the mains. After going up to the bar asking where the food was they tried to charge us for it. They ended up sorting there mistake but took another 25 mins for the plate to arrive. Food wasn’t great. Service was even worse.

No food available 11.15am to 12 noon to go with our coffee! Tried to book a table for 8 on Friday night but they’d only take bookings up to 6.30pm. We rushed to get there on time to be rudely told there was an hour’s wait for food - no apology - so we left! Place was chaotic - kids running around through staff doors, etc. Would not recommend!

Always space when I go in, friendly staff, good food and family friendly bar.

Popped in for lunch before getting access to our caravan in the caravan park. Very friendly staff and lovely decor, clean and modern. I had the dirty vegan fries which were lovely: lots of thick cut chips with fresh fried veg and melted vegan cheese on top. It was a generous portion too. We returned a few times during our stay for drinks.

Went in for lunch whilst waiting for our caravan. I had the baked potato with vege chilli. I can't fault the food, the potato could have done with some butter, but thatvis personal choice, and I probably could have asked for some. Inside the restaurant wad immaculate. Every staff member I spoke to were happy to help and very pleasant to talk to. We went back several times during g our stay for drinks, and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Had the best time at the Braes bar and restaurant food was great and the cocktails the service and the staff were great the girls couldn't do enough very helpfull 10 out of 10 for me ...

Visited last weekend. Lovely, modern establishment. Staff were super friendly. Nice atmosphere. Singer performing while we were there who added to the occasion.

Dissapointing, customer service terrible from lady behind bar. Serves other people first & ignores those that are queing. Spoke to manager regarding this issue and response was so poor had to leave.Not interested in how customers are being treated. Wouldn't waste money. Go elsewhere.

Great place for a family dinner, dog friendly, quick and friendly service and reasonably priced. Ate here 3 times during a week stay in a caravan on the park. Would even stop in for a meal if I was passing and not staying in the park.

Bons produits cuisinés simplement. Bon rapport qualité /prix. Seul bémol : grande salle assez bruyante en cette période de vacances scolaires.

Went there on our way to kingsbarn and it was such a lovely restaurant with amazing ästhetische, the bartender helps us with routing out for buses. Overall I liked it though didn't had much.

Visited twice over the weekend with my family, both times were excellent. The staff were lovely, the food was nice and the restaurant and toilets were very clean. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the entertainment that was on. Thanks everyone, will definitely return!

This restaurant had at one time seven dogs in while meals being served. Friday and Saturday nights singers on no order just a drunken rabble . Ten residents at one table shouting and bawling staff just turn a blind eye. Dont go these nights noise horrific. Nobody to get any order. Wont be back. Caravan and park fabulous . Would be better named the kennels

Convenient on-site bar for St Andrews Holiday Park. Good selection of beers and lagers, live music at weekends.

Had a nice lunch on Sunday with the family. Staff friendly and attentive. Nice place, would recommend 👌

Leighann, Thalia and Jack were very friendly and gave great service. We had the boozy brunch which was great value for money and lovey food! We will definitely be back and recommend to friends 👍

Stayed on site and only went to this place on the last night. However lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Ordered some food and it was lovely too. Overall glad we found it for a relaxing last night

We come up to St Andrew's a few times every year and always go for a breakfast and evening meal at the braes over the course of our stay at St Andrew's holiday park. The food has always been good and price's are reasonable with nice surroundings.

Refusing the entertainment to start because, football on tv, not savy,get a grip.

Visited here while staying onsite. Food was lovely. Good choices on menu and reasonably priced. Excellent service. Nice and clean surroundings with lovely views over St Andrews.

First time there and will definitely be back. Was in a group of 20+. Food was excellent service was great!

Just wanted to post this as fuming didn't even come close! Arrived at the restaurant placed main food order which we received and have absolutely no complaint about. All excellent. We queued again at the till marked food and drink as we wished to order desert. When it was our turn the supervisor told my sister to go to the back of the queue on the till stating drinks orders only! Her attitude was disgraceful, she never cracked a smile either. The irony was after queueing for nearly another 15 minutes she ended up serving us anyway! We did ask to speak to the manager and to his credit listened to our complaint and agreed her attitude wasn't acceptable. Everything was dealt with satisfactorily. Its not nice making any complaint but we don't come on holiday to be treated like naughty kids being sent to the back of the queue when you are in the right one to start with! We left feeling happy with a resolution and hopefully the lady behind the bar attends some refresher training on customer service as clearly she lacked this in buckets!

Had breakfast a few times and a bit hit and miss but overall good. Friendly service in a comfortable and good atmosphere. TVs for sport and night time entertainment was okay from what we saw

They serve decent pub grub and the restaurant is clean and friendly. Could be a bit more adventurous with the soup, it was lentil both nights we went ! Their breakfast rolls are a bit on the small side and nowhere near as nice as their Elie Holiday Park.

My wife and I visited The Braes bar and restaurant on a couple of occasions during our stay at St.Andrews holiday park in our camper. First of all the food was absolutely excellent and very reasonably priced. But most of all what we noticed on our couple of visits was the politeness and fantastic customer service by the staff in this place. It was always 10/10. We will definitely return to this site and visit the restaurant in the future.

This is a good restaurant with a good size menu and reasonable prices, only let down was the steak pie where there was a few chewy bits of meat,fish and chips are excellent and so is there chicken burger, the build your own breakfast is excellent and hot, reasonable beer prices, friendly helpful staff, Dog friendly.

We've been here 5 years running now and love it. The food is very good, drinks well priced and all the staff are very helpful and pleasant. We'll be back soon.

This is a nice restaurant with well priced decent food and lovely staff. But it’s completely ruined by people bringing in way too many dogs! Now if these dogs sit quietly at their feet on the floor then that’s all good but owners allow them to sit on the seats, bark and generally behave badly. I really do t want to sit on a booth when a fog has been lying out on it! Can the management please do something about this. The restaurant is for everyone, not just for dog owners.

The food is reasonably priced and has a wide variety. Classic pub meals and some unconventional but tasty options. Small cocktail menu and wide variety of drinks at not too steep a price. Would like to give a thank you to Catherine behind the bar who ensured that my friends and I had a good night out. Outgoing and lovely!

Whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is always fantastic. I cannot fault any of the staff. They were brilliant when they reopened after COVID and worked under difficult conditions, sometimes with reduced staff. Now, after a couple of months of normality, they continue to impress. We will be back. 👍

Don't expect a quiet dinner on a busy holiday night (clue is in the park name!). That said, the food is great for the moderate prices and the staff are very helpful. My only grump is that tea and coffee aren't available after 8:30 pm. This facility and staff provide an excellent service.

Good service and good food. Situated on St Andrews caravan park. Free WiFi and loads of parking for non residents. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

I found the food and service pretty poor. Some of the children's meals were inedible, no-one came back to check on the table after serving the food so children ate what was ok and left the rest. I told the waitress when clearing up that the food was inedible and the reply was "ok thanks I'll tell the chef", which i thought was a poor response to the customer. They seem to have a captured audience and feel they don't need to provide a quality service it food. All-in-all pretty disappointing.

visited twice during our visit had to order via the app even although you can walk into any pub and order a drink but the app worked well and orders were quickly delivered . the food was as good as any similar kind of venue...

Had a great time at a friends holiday home. On last night we decided to take the kids to the Braes Restaurant on site. Worst decision EVER. We waited 2 hours for food despite being told on three separate occasions it would be two minutes....

Don't listen to the reviews on here as myself and my partner think the Braes Bar & Restaurant is excellent. The food is absolutely lovely especially the burgers and the macaroni cheese my 2 faves. The Pub & Restaurant is very clean. The staff are lovely, its dog friendly and they cant do enough for you and your wee furry friend (water bowl & biscuits). We have been coming here past 3 years now to kinkell braes and we love it. It's a lovely caravan park. Honestly go to the Braes you wont be disappointed!

Having bought a static van at the holiday park last year went for our first meal last week and again this week. You order on an app but it’s simple and the service was good. The food was hot and delicious and it’s priced reasonably...

Ate here last week, food was delicious, varied menu with snacks and main meals, very big portions and very tasty.

Kinkell Braes es una verdadera joya escondida.Mi esposa y yo fuimos al lugar para sorprender a la familia mientras estábamos en el área local. Durante el transcurso de nuestra estadía, disfrutamos el pastel de carne hecho en casa que era absolutamente hermoso a un precio extremadamente razonable, junto con pescado fresco, vendido por su barman y Brie Wedge para mi esposa que es celíaca.La casa club que me informaron fue renovada hace 2 años y se mantiene en muy buenas condiciones. Una zona muy relajante para sentarse, con buena música y ambiente. A veces puede ser muy silencioso, sin embargo, eso es lo que disfruto.El equipo es genial, muy acogedor con una gran sonrisa. Nos reímos mucho con Ryan por la mañana para el desayuno, que era muy divertido y accesible. Más tarde, por la noche, está Kieran, que tiene un conocimiento fantástico sobre la excelente selección que tienen en el bar. Nombra una ginebra, ron o whisky y él te lo contará todo. Él me vendió este fantástico ron hecho de los filipenses y pudo contarme todo el trasfondo, el conocimiento es clave para impresionar a personas como yo, autoproclamados entusiastas y estaba extremadamente impresionado con la hilaridad y la acogida de Ryan, mezclado con gran instinto y servicio experto de Kieran, estoy seguro de que el resto del equipo es fantástico, sin embargo, son los únicos nombres que logramos recordar. ¡Volveremos a Braes una vez que hayamos terminado nuestra gira anual por Europa, para disfrutar de un poco de golf, pescado fresco y Ginebra!¡Esperamos ver las caras familiares el próximo año! ¡5 ESTRELLAS!

Stayed on the park and ate here on several occasions. Good enough and the meals were very consistent - for the price(not cheap) it has to be said not amazing, but not bad.

We attended The Braes for drinks and breakfast when we stayed at the holiday park at the end of a 10 day tour of Scotland. Breakfast was fantastic, great selection the best of our hols and the best value. Drinks selection was also very good,...

Only went in for a cup of tea and what a lovely place with a seaview. Having been born in St Andrews, it was wonderful to finally visit the Holiday Park. Parking.

Was there on friday 26 july 19, this was our first time on these premises and we found the bar staff uncooperative and disrespectful and arrogant towards my husband and me,in response to a civil questionl Ì.E. could we please have a menù please,staff: there on the tables. Me: no the table we were escorted to, has no menu. This went on for a good 20 minutes when we finally got our meal. It was cold and bland and the small child would not eat his meal due to the wait and meal was cold. The highchair was faulty as there was a broken buckle and we had to tie it in a knot. On Saturday 27 july 19, we went for breakfast,by goodness we wish we hadn't. They got the order wrong from the beginning to the end . We got our porridge out then our pancakes arrived. The full breakfast didnt receive there toast. Your even lucky you got a 1 star. You know what they say about word of mouth. We spent between the two meals over £100.
