An absolute favourite. Such a cool place, with its history as a fishing bothy. Riverside setting, lovely grounds to wander, cabin decor with woodburner...so cozy. Better still, is the brilliant service and the food! High quality ingedients put together really well, even the simple lunch staples are really good and presented beautifully. Coffee and cakes also great. The Specials are fantastic, so I'd highly recommend joining the facebook page "Willowgate Cafe" to see what delights they've cooked up week to week. Also, not just dog friendly, but dogs made to feel welcome. Can't rate highly enough really...

Stopped in for lunch on a recommendation. Really nice atmosphere, clean and well attentive staff. Tables are well spaced so you don't feel you are rating on top of other tables. Varied lunch menu and a great selection of cakes. Food was lovely and good value, definitely be back here.

We went in on Sat. 12th October around midday (my other half and I, plus our daughter): the staff were lovely and the tea, coffee, and cakes were delicious; we had a paradise slice (with coconut and fruit) and a date crumble as well as a coffee and walnut loaf, all of which were freshly made and absolutely do die for. We sat near the shop front but had a look around at the pictures showing the conversion work phases made this building what it is now; the products on sale are also varied and fairly local (we ended up buying a small wooden stool for our daughter's harp). Recommended, also, for lunch: on offer, for example, was a broccoli and Stilton soup, but we had to continue on our journey. Francesco and family.

Arrived at the cafe around 11:45 after phoning to check if it was dog friendly. Our name and phone number was taken and we were asked to wait outside for what they thought would be about 10 minutes as we were the ‘first in the queue.’ After half an hour and another couple being seated before us, I went back inside to query this and was told our details had been lost but the next available table was ours. By this time we were extremely cold and hungry. We waited approximately 10 minutes to be served and at 12:50 we had to check where our order was. At this point we were told our brunch was on and would be with us in 5 minutes. We cancelled our order as we were now about to be late for an appointment at 1:15 which we should of had plenty time for. Without even an apology, we left and won’t be returning. Shambles!

What a lovely place, nice menu and a waitress not too busy to make sure that you had all you needed. My cousin is a celiac, so we have to be selective in our eateries, these guys catered for her with a great choice of meals down to the puddings. Very busy and having to turn folk away or ask them to wait.. Toilets clean and sweet smelling too👍👍👍

Visited The Atrium this weekend…it’s such a lovely bright place for a spot of lunch with great views overlooking Perth Concert Hall. The staff are lovely and welcoming and we both had a bowl of delicious homemade Red Lentil soup and bread. The menu also includes a selection of breakfasts, panini, sandwiches, baked potatoes and a nice selection of home baking. Definitely worth a visit, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. An added bonus is having a wonder round the beautiful Gillies furniture shop on the way back down stairs!

Stopped here while travelling past. The coffee was excellent, hot tasty and strong. The shop is a fascinating place with a machine whirling await roasting the coffee, people filming the place and a full shop of people drinking the excellent coffee amid all that was going on.
