We've been getting scones every day on our trip and these we agreed were the best! It's a cosy and quaint tearoom, with the feel of an old loft building. Reasonably priced too. The only thing I'd say is they could do with perhaps some Scottish music playing as it's a little quiet, especially if there's not many other people in there.

After visiting the Falkland Palace, we decided to have lunch in this cafe as the menu looked so inviting. The four of us had freshly made sandwiches and pots of tea. The strawberry tart looked so delicious, we just had to have a slice. All the food was made by the cafe and was fantastic. It was worth climbing the stairs for.

Discovered this cafe today when we were visiting the Amazing Bob Beveridge Antique and Violin emporium. The light lunch for £8.00 a head was excekke t value for money. Soup with a roll, tea or coffee and a choice of sci as it a cake. All delicious and fresh, served by a nice friendly lady. If I had been a bit mire hungry, I would have got stuck into the main lunch menu. Highly reccomend and we will definitely be back.

It was only by chance I spotted this tearoom, as we entered the car park opposite. It's just off the main street where all the other eateries are, and therefore not as busy - in fact initially we were the only ones there. As the name implies it's upstairs. There's a funny little toilet on the same level. The menu selection is limited, with soups, quiche and sandwiches or combinations, and a good selection of cakes, but we'd only wanted a drink and cake anyway. My partner had lemon cake and I had a scone, expecting only butter with it. I was offered jam and cream, and together with a large pot of tea, which did several cups, the total came to £8. What a bargain.

It has quite a late opening time unfortunately. We arrived at 10.15 for morning coffee just as the person was entering the premises. She told us to give her time to set things up and come back at 10.30 which we did. We were made most welcome and ordered filter coffee and a scone each. The fruit scone was one of the best I have eaten and the filter coffee was excellent too. There is also a selection of cakes available. Soup is also served at lunch time with a choice of three kinds. The down side is that stairs have to be climbed to get to it hence the name The Hayloft. I will certainly be making a return visit in the not too distant future.

Very much a traditional Scottish tea-room/cafe decorated in a simple but clean fashion with local artwork on the walls. When we went in it was actually really busy (showing it’s popularity) and we ended up rather squashed at a table up against the wall. Worried that service might be slow due to busyness - but that certainly wasn’t the case at all. We got our cuppa’s & tasty freshly- made sandwiches (on choice of bread) in no time at all from a very friendly & energetic waitress who was constantly on the go attending to other tables.Very pleasant place for a refreshing & reviving cuppa.

We had a short drive to Falkland late morning, had a walk about, and came across this lovely little tearoom. It was a lucky find as this is their last trading day until after the festivities. It reopens on the 19th January 2017.I was surprised that they had three different soups to choose from. There was lentil, leek and potato or cream of broccoli. I opted for the lentil soup which was served with a hot crusty roll and a portion of butter (really enjoyed the flavour of the soup, it had that kick about it that proper lentil soup should have) while my wife opted for tea and a cake. The tearoom is small but charming. It is up a good number of stairs so not wheelchair accessible.Service was quick and staff were nice and friendly.Would return again when next in the area.

I have been to millys a handful of times now and am always delighted with how pleasant the staff are and how tasty the food is. A lovely wee place in Cupar if you need a wee bite or a cup of tea. I especially enjoy sitting upstairs where it’s a bit more quiet.

Having wandered round Culross, we were hungry, so popped in here. We had quite a wait, but it was well worth it! The two (handmade) soups were delicious – wish the bowl had been a bit bigger, though. The sandwiches were really tasty, on lovely thick brown bread.

Party off 3. All meals starters, main and sweet all good. Although there were two large parties in the service was still very good. No complaints. Will be back soon
