Was as good as promised! Very clean, cheery, and comfortable interior to have breakfast in, lots of great food, pastries and coffees, perfect 👍

Brilliant wee patisserie, ladies were lovely and really attentive. Great food. Only problem was there were too many amazing cakes to choose from!

My two friends and I were there for afternoon tea which was excellent! Good choice of both sweet and savoury, cakes and scones with cream and jam! Tea or coffee also with refills available at no extra cost! Would definitely recommend a visit when in oban. Must be booked in advance to allow for preparation!

Me and my boyfriend came here for a quick light lunch and it did not disappoint! He had the tuna salad baked potato which was amazing with the salad dressing they offer you. I on the other hand had the caesar salad which was honestly so flavourful :)) Not to mention the staff were lovely and welcoming :) Good grub 😋

There is a fantastic menu available (the soups are superb) but if you have an appetite, go for the club sandwich - truly a thing of great awesomeness!

Lovely fresh, tasty home baking. My son particularly enjoyed their yummy homemade sausage rolls. Staff make you feel very welcome.

Booked an afternoon tea for 5 adults and 2 kids last week. It was fantastic. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was ready when we arrived, making it very easy with the kids. Would definitely recommend Bossards as an afternoon tea venue. Very friendly staff.

Super friendly service during our recent visit to Oban we enjoyed very tasty and well presented paninis and fries whilst soaking up the atmosphere in their "on the street" seating area with views up towards McCaig Tower.

Had the most amazing fruit scones with clotted cream and jam for breakfast. Large velvety cappuccino to go with it and a small, fresh apple tart to end the flavour feast. Go there. Be pampered. Leave in a bliss.

We had breakfast at the Bossards 2 mornings in a row in June 2022. The ladies are so nice, friendly and welcoming! Their breakfast items are all wonderful, definitely try the fresh fruit bowl! Not always one for going to eat alone I was apprehensive going in BUT was made to feel nothing but welcome. Staff were very friendly and adhered to all safety precautions wearing masks, taking details for track and trace and there was a plentiful amount of sanitiser available. I was served in a timely and courteous manner and was very impressed with my panini and salad. Ingredients were clearly fresh and of good quality and delivered plenty of flavour. Definitely value for money. I just wish I had room for a cake. Will 100% be returning to this little gem of a place

Great Christmas afternoon tea in Oban. The afternoon tea was nicely Christmas themed without feeling over the top. There was plenty of variety across the sandwiches, scones and cakes, which were the perfect size, so something for everyone. Everything was homemade and beautifully presented. Hace aproximadamente 8 años que vengo aquí y el personal que trabaja escucha (Catherine, Gillian, Anne y Michaela, por nombrar algunos) están en primera línea y no podrían ser más educados, atentos, amables y actuales. Productos recién hechos. El ambiente en un día ajetreado es bullicioso y si es tranquilo, el personal viene a hablar con usted, lo cual es un buen toque. Recomiendo las papas al horno, para morirse y muy abundante. Sopa casera, GUAU,: -)). Pero el horneado fresco de galletas, pasteles, rosquillas, pizza y rellenos para panecillos recién horneados y pan. He estado sobre Oban en establecimientos de comida y algunos no recomendaría o incluso escribir comentarios sobre. Pero esto es lo mejor y te invito a que vayas allí y disfrutes y obtengas la diversión.

Los pasteles parecen haber sido comprados, sin duda tan buenos como los grandes pasteles caseros de al lado en el café Harris. . .Me atendió una señora de cabello rubio, de mi edad, parecía muy severa y bastante brusca. No es nada acogedor, pero puede haber tenido un mal día.En general, es un café decente, ni aquí ni allá, quizás volveré en el futuro.

Dropped in for lunch. It was very busy but managed to get a table. Good service. Didn't have long to wait to have my order taken. I opted for lentil soup, a cheese and onion toastie, a piece of carrot cake washed down with irn bru. The soup had a lovely home made flavour. The toastie was hot with a generous filling and the carrot cake was moist with plenty icing. The irn bru was perfectly chilled. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone and will return.

Came here for breakfast. We both had morning rolls - one with black pudding and Lorne and one with black pudding and egg. The rolls were fresh and soft and the fillings were all locally sourced - free range eggs, really organs yolk and generous serving of black pudding. I would say the best filled breakfast roll I’ve had in a long time if not ever! Really friendly service and a beautiful selection of bakery goods.

Broodjes moesten nog worden gebakken en ga zo maar door. Personeel maakt zich er niet druk over. Jammer en ergerlijk! Nee, wij vonden er niet veel aan! Er zijn veel betere adresjes in Oban!!!!

Bossards is err Bossards. Slightly formal in the Edinburgh sense with excellent filter coffee. Pies and donuts were excellent. Would be even beterr if we had a cake of the week but Bossards does what it does very well.

This is the first time I've been in since it got a make over. Speechless, absolutely beautiful, bright, fresh, new colours on the wall that are alive, tables and chairs replaced ,staff with new uniforms that look really smart. Breakfast as tasteful as ever, bacon eggs sausage beans toast and tea. I can't fault this café, every time I've been in 10 out of 10.

Visited the newly refurbished and re decorated Bossards Patisserie cum coffee / tea shop yesterday and wow it looked fabulous! The food was fantastic as usual: great coffee, superb soup ( just wish I knew the recipe for the ham and lentil soup as it is the best I have ever tasted ) My husband was very impressed with the chicken and mushroom pies. Excellent service and such pleasant and helpful waitresses. When a tea room is always busy, as this one is, it is obvious that the staff are doing something right and the food is exceptional. I am amazed at the wide variety of dishes available for such a small establishment. Well done to all all the staff!

Tuvimos una camarera brillante, creo Megan, que interactuó muy bien con nuestros niños de 8, 5 y 5 años. Very good filter and we liked the table service and friendly staff but needs sparkle. There is no 'cake of the week' and never any new specials apparently. Definitely worth using and just needs some innovative cakes and dishes each day.

Read reviews and paid a visit to satisfy our curiosity about the carrot cake. In short, coffee was ok as was the cake. Clean little cafe, decent service, a little overpriced.

Stopped for a cup of tea, glad I found this wee gem. Wonderful display of fresh cakes & pastries. Good coffee & tea, I had carrot cake & a pot of tea - really good and excellent value for money. Jolly staff, prompt service, nice chairs & clean tidy tables. If you can’t stop then buy some cake to take away!

We had a nice little lunch here. The amount of pastries they offer is astonishing and they all look amazing. The lunch tasted nice. Staff was friendly and prices were good. This is a nice place for small lunches and tea time.

Came in for a lovely light lunch a couple years ago and Had the tuna salad roll! I now try to go to bossards as much as I possibly can and always have the same to eat! Staff are very polite and always get served very quickly! Definitely recommend bossards!

Popped in for lunch and were not disappointed. The staff were extremely polite and attentive and the food was of a high standard. The tea was piping hot, the soup was very good and the baked Potato had plenty of filling. Also a good selection of cakes to choose from and a very clean and inviting little tea room.

I like the sort of cafe that has a display of cakes to choose from and this is just such a place.

It looks a very nice place from the outside but disappointing when you go in, it felt cramped and claustrophobic. We sat for a while before someone decided to come over and take our order. We had to sit at a table which had not been cleared so that wasn't very nice either. The place overall had a grubby feel to it and I was pleased when it was time to go as it was not a very welcoming place. The coffee we had was okay but the doughnut I had was hard and not as fresh as it could have been.

It was a long time before the waitress came to get our order, and others were served before us. The waitresses had to prepare the food as well as serve. We had a long wait and when the order came, part of it was wrong and had to go back. We were sorry for the staff, but we shan't be returning.

We visited here on Easter Saturday as we were staying on Loch Awe. A tourist guide magazine in the hotel had recommended this plac, and I can see why! The place was packed, although we did not have to wait long for a table.The staff were friendly and apologetic for any delays (which there were none), and certainly earned their money. We have one of their Devon Teas which was divine! A massive pot of tea and the cream tea scones were large and lovely.If we had had room for lunch we would have had more as all the food coming out of the kitchen looked gorgeous. I would recommend anyone visting the area to pop in their even just for coffee and a cake. Their take out service also looked good and was also extremely busy with locals and tourists. Always a good sign! Looking forward to visiting their again soon!

Popped in to Bussards for the first time having passed the premises previously , and what a pleasant surprise . The premises were surprisingly busy , however this did not deter the staff in their standard of service while keeping the patrons of the Patisserie informed of the excellent soups , sandwiches , fresh baking , hot food and beverages which were on offer at decent prices Staff ,although busy still kept the premises and tables clean and tidy , removing any dishes and cleaning tables as they went about their other duties. Our waitress Isa was very friendly and helpful with regards to our selection of food and drinks and very quickly found us a table beside one of the windows of the Patisserie.The staff and the food certainly make Bussards a joy to visit and I will call in again the next time we find ourselves in Oban

Bossards Patisserie has a good selection of bread, and pastry and the food is relatively good. But what let's this establishment down considerably is the rude staff, who have entirely forget manners and etiquette.

We can always rely on a good soup here and are usually tempted by a cake afterwards or to take away. Service is friendly and it's a regular meeting place for friends so the atmosphere is lovely too.

This is a lovely little coffee house with a big selection of home bakes that are very reasonably priced. The young lady who served us was exceptionally friendly.

Supposed to go for my breakfast at my daughters on Saturday morning but stood up!!!!went to Bossards ordered two bacon and egg rolls, pot of tea in a china teapot, not stainless steel and in china cup.And with at least 3 to 4 rashers of bacon on each roll, eggs with bright orange yolks, fresh. Staff were very courteous, pleasant and attentive. Never pestering for you to hurry up and finish and leave so there a free tables. Priceless. That's the kind of café you want that is local AND tourist friendly. Local produce to boot. As should be.
