Had a lovely surprise delivery today of grazing platter and cakes for a birthday treat . Absolutely amazing . Everything was super tasty and presented beautifully.

Wow, what a lovely experience. Beautiful decor, table settings and first class service! The food is delicious, well presented and amazing quality. If you are looking for something a little bit special then book here!

Staying in holiday rental accommodation in Auchterarder for a few days celebrating with family & arranged a fabulous array of yummy delights from Mimi’s 😋 Grazing Boards, Savoury finger food, sandwiches, scones & cakes all beautiful presented & so fresh & tasty. Highly recommend

Ordered in advance an Afternoon Tea, grazing box and a celebration carrot cake to be delivered to our holiday home whilst staying locally to Auchterarder. Morag was ever so helpful and chatty on the telephone when taking all of the details for the order. All of the goodies were delivered on the specified date and time, were beautiful packaged and presented. Everything ordered was absolutely outstanding, delicious and excellent value for money. The carrot cake really stood out, probably one of the best I've ever eaten. Vegetarian options available too, would definitely order from this local business again and would not hesitate in recommending.

Staying in Gleneagles Luxury Apartments for the weekend and the owner recommended Cafe Mimi's. Decided on the Grazing Box for two so the ladies could have some nibbles while the gents were golfing. WOW! What an amazing box, such variety, beautifully presented. Meats, cheeses, crackers, fruit, honey. Probably enough for four persons. We were still nibbling at it on day two! Also plumped for the Continental Hamper and again quality produce beautifully presented. They also had an arrangement for the property owner so the boxes were in the accommodation when we arrived. Great service.

We ordered an afternoon tea box to be delivered to Alexander House Yurts. The person I spoke with had a lovely warm manner on the telephone. Delivered straight to our yurt and again a friendly greeting on delivery. The afternoon tea box was presented beautifully with a personal hand written note. Everything was fresh and tasty. Lovely Afternoon Tea boxes delivered to us on Sunday. Delivery time was as advised. Everything was delicious. Cafe Mimi's have done a fabulous job of adapting their business to the Covid restrictions. Hope they will be open again very soon.

We ordered an afternoon tea back in October 2020 and a Naughty and Nice platter in November 2020. We also recently ordered a cheese platter for my mother in laws birthday in February 2021. Whether ordering by Messenger or by telephone each interaction has involved lovely helpful staff who are more than happy to tweak the boxes to your preference. The food is absolutely delicious and the boxes have always been beautifully presented and delivered with a smile. I will continue to recommend to friends and family and can’t wait to place another order sometime soon and hopefully visit the cafe when it reopens.

At a very busy time Cafe Mimi's confirmed vouchers for Mothers day - so 'at her leisure' Mum could book the tea when it suited. They also journeyed out of their way not accepting payment for the added extras to make Mothers day special for a very special couple miles away. The presentation was excellent - check the photo out and I understand from the great mum that the bakes were very fresh and tasty too. The added fizz helped. Can vouch they will deliver as promised - Recommended!

We ordered an Afternoon Tea for 2 which Was awesome .We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. The sandwiches were perfect and the cakes were delicious . Hope they still do delivery Afternoon teas after Lockdown as it is a great idea .

My wife and l dropped into this wee gem of a place killing some time while the car was in the garage. Both of us ordered a cappucino and a piece of carrot cake which was served up promptly. Well what can l say, we both found the carrot cake absolutely first class! Moist, a generous portion that was flavoursome and scrumptious! The icing was unlike any l'd tasted before, soft and creamy but delicious! Only complaint would be the cappucinos were very frothy and l could have done with a larger cup. Just over 12 quid in total but worth it for the best carrot cake l've ever tasted in a nice setting.

This is a cosy friendly café/tea room. Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. We go out of our way to make regular visits. Lovely ladies.

We popped in for a hot drink to get out of the rain. Felt rushed to decide what we wanted and as soon as they realised we weren't ordering food we were rushed even more. The place was practically empty but the owner still insisted on us sitting at a 2 seater table in case they got a group of 4. There was also a couple with a baby who were also not allowed a table any bigger than for 2. After we had been there about 10mins a local came in and the owner welcomed her with open arms and let her sit at a big table. Overall just felt like they didn't like tourists!they came to clear our teapots before we had finished drinking. I literally had to grab hold of my cup so it wouldn't be cleared away.When we came to pay we were told we couldn't pay by card for under £10! this is very unusual these days so would have been more helpful to have let us know before we sat down. also the way we were told we couldn't use card was very rude.Such a shame as everywhere else we visited in the Stirling area the staff were very very friendly apart from Mimi's

Very hearty vegetable soup. The afternoon teas looked delicious but would have had to be booked in advance. Nice oldy worldly cafe.

Great welcome. We were too late for lunch but offered soup & sandwich, which was great. Two of us only wanted a scone & tea which was served with cream and jam and was yummy. Lovely, cozy and welcoming.

Our family popped in for breakfast and the service was excellent, giving our hungry kids extra toast with a smile. Proper local, personal service and the food was excellent. Well recommended 😀

We were planning to go to lunch here after taking my daughter to gymnastics. Popped in to see if my daughter who is 2, could use the toilet and were told no. She has just started potty training and would not last any farther. Found the owner rude and really unhelpful.

Popped in for lunch at this little hidden gem on Friday. Home made coleslaw was superb and the lunch was lovely The staff were genuine and friendly . Will return next time we are in the area .

This place was busy when we went in so there was only a couple of tables left. The lady who served us was really nice and friendly. We only had cakes and coffees. The cakes were all home baked. I got the Victorian sponge cake and oh God what a size it was. Two of us got that. My husband got a fruit slice and it was just made as well. The hot chocolate was yummy as well lots of marshmallows and chocolate on top. Prices were good as well. I will definitely be back

First time visit to Cafe Mimi’s, it didn’t disappoint. Table was set beautifully and the amount of food was amazing, the left overs were boxed up for us and there was enough for another afternoon tea at home. Will definitely return and thoroughly recommend.

Went here for breakfast at the end of a girly weekend away. Food was lovely. 3 of us had the French Toast with Bacon and Maple Syrup which was delicious. The home baking looked amazing but we were all too full up. I had a hot chocolate which was really yummy. Very friendly staff too. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back if back in the area.

We have been here a couple of times for morning tea. Good coffee. Good range of cakes and freshly baked scones. Limited gluten free options. Also some blackboard specials for a larger meal.

We stopped off for tea and cake. There were so many options which all looked wonderful! We opted for huge slices of Victoria sponge, and carrot cake. The carrot cake was so moist and flavoursome! Being greedy we also had a slice of the biscoff millionaires. The flavours were fab! Service was brilliant. They were very attentive and friendly, and there was a very nice atmosphere. There was lovely decor, and a lot of effort to keep it tidy and welcoming. If we were local we would be regulars!

We stay in the town and visit regularly for breakfast or lunch.

Nice stop for cake and coffee. Small so maybe worth booking if your set to go here. Felt a wee bit rushed to order and leave, would rather have been told when closing to make the decision whether to stay. Not connected to Edinburgh reknowned Mimi's.

We popped in for a cuppa and cake and were warmly welcomed and seated immediately by the lady owner. We had a lovely tea and coffee and lovely empire biscuit, after a little discussion regarding a milk jug we were given a very kind offer which brought me to tears by the kindness shown. I would highly recommend a visit to this delightful tearoom

If you like faux French (and who doesn't?) you'll like this cute little coffee shop. Friendly and efficient staff and excellent coffee. And a rather luxurious toilet! Check it our if you're in the area.

Oh my goodness we were gifted an afternoon tea session at Mimi's Auchterarder and our friends knew how much we love cream teas and home baking and fresh sandwiches and treats and oh my goodness this place is a little gem the food was sublime and so tasty and fresh there was numerous options on the menu that catered for everyone including special dietary requirements and children etc the decor and seating and whole ambience was quite simply mind blowing XX myself and my mum and dad were like kids in a sweetie shop the staff were friendly and helpful and cheery and awesome and we will definitely be going back XX

Yesterday my party of three enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at Cafe Mimi's. The table was beautifully set out and out tea an food were served very quickly. the staff were very helpful an pleasant. The cakes and sandwiches were first class. A lovely selection of cakes and sandwiches were provided and actually proved too much even for our large appetites. No need to worry about left overs. the staff suggested putting them into a box for us to take home. We were delighted with our full experience and will return.

Visited today for some lunch with 3 kids, they ordered BLTs and the adults had a mix of special of the day cajun chicken panini and a cranberry,bacon and brie. Each came with lovely coleslaw and salad. Service was good with 2 lovely ladies attending to us. Topped the lunch of with scones, clotted cream and jam! To die for. Highly recommend and will most definitely be back.

Lovely neat, tidy and clean cafe. Just had coffee and cake and it was really nice. Toilets here are excellent. Staff engaging and friendly. I would recommend for tea/coffee and scone of cake. Didmt try for a lunch though it got busy at lunchtime when we were leaving so that is a good sign. Will perhaps try a lunch next time.

This is an excellent cafe. The food is home made and is excellent, the staff are always very pleasant and polite. The cafe is small, quaint and very tastefully decorated. We would highly recommend a visit to Mimi’s if in Auchterarder

Stopped here for coffee and cake. Wonderful cakes and brilliant service especially from mum who kindly sent out pouring cream for my chocolate ganache cake. The patter was great too. First class

We dropped into Café Mimi's while travelling down the A9 from East to West. We were looking for a light snack for lunch and opted for soup and a sandwich. Various choices of home made soup and freshly made sandwiches with lots of filling. Just the job to break our journey and keep us going. Friendly service and a bustling atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Stopped in Auchterarder for a coffee however decided to have lunch as I was impressed with look and feel of this beautiful cafè. Everything was spot on.

Meal was piping hot, and substantial, very tasty, and kept the tea coming, staff were very attentive at all times and made us feel so welcome.

Cafe looked lovely. Spotless. Busy. Cannot comment any further as unfortunately not dog friendly. Previous reviews state this cafe is dog friendly. Came out our way to visit here. Shame

I've never left a review for a business before but we had such an awful experience at Cafe Mimi's for Mother's Day. Two of our party spoke to the cafe before the day for various reasons, asking for our booking at one o'clock.

Came across this delightful place while visitingAuchterarder. What a place charming and friendly staff. Myself and my friend had tasty home made soup bursting with fresh flavors and we also opted for a sandwich each. It was presented with a beautiful side salad. Feeling stuffed we could not resist one of the fabulous cakes on offer washed down with a cup of tea!!!! I have now made the journey back a few times now bringing different friends to the jem of a place. I would highly recommended. Keep doing what you are doing

We've just returned home after a delightful Afternoon Tea at Mimi's. It was our first visit and we'll definitely be back. The sandwiches, sausage rolls, quiche, scones, pancakes and cakes were all fresh and delicious, and the service was friendly and helpful. The tea itself was just right (refills to hand as soon as we asked) and the table was beautifully set, and ready for us whenever we arrived. Thank you

The most beautiful and immaculate restaurant ..everyone so welcoming and the food is beyond delicious ..we were in for lunch but they were setting up for afternoon tea and it looked incredible ..will be back next week with my daughter

Having entered the cafe for the first time there were two small tables adjoining each other at the door near the draft from the January wind ! Looking about there was a table for four in the corner free and another out the way of said icy wind so I went to sit down only to be told as we were needing a table for two we had to sit at the draft at the small table!!! I should’ve left there at that point but I was starving so sat down . No one came in and occupied the table for four and an old couple came in obviously regulars and headed for the big table to be told to sit beside us at the small table at the door !!! No one used the 2 tables for 4!!!! In fact the lunch rush was over and £18 for egg mayo sandwich and cheese baked potato (very small) tea and coffee is not the most competitive price I’ve been charged in a wee town cafe ? Not good ! The pathetic attempt at sarcasm on our way out was so much that me and my elderly relative just ignored the comments made by the waitress( or owner ) least said best mended and all that but we won’t be back and it’s the first time I’ve ever gave one star and that’s generous!

My friends get together lunch was spoilt by the attitude of the main waitress who could not have been more rude if she tried. All because the soup was not hot enough and we were made to feel we should have eaten warm soup. We will not be back!

This is one of the very best cafes my wife and I have ever been in. It is so clean, well laid out, fantastic decor and top quality service at very reasonable prices. The toilets are simply fantastic, very clean, well supplied with hand wash, towels ( real towels) candles and aromatic oils. Also a lovely chair to sit on if you need a rest. It is a toilet you would find in a five star hotel. The owner and her daughter are sticklers for detail and they have put a lot of thought into the business and it shows. The food was excellent, service superb and the owner was a joy to talk to and made a point of making all her customers feel like old friends who had popped in for a cuppa. Do not walk past - you will miss a great experience if you do. Make sure you check out the toilet !!!!!

After wandering down the high street randomly looking for a coffee shop to heat up in, we went into Mimi's and what an excellent decision that was.

Invited a few friends for Afternoon tea with bubbles.Arrived to find whole beautifully decorated and tables looked fabulous.Spent a couple of hours chatting and eating.Had a great time staff very attentive to all our needs.

Had a fantabulous afternoon tea with Bubbly as a Xmas present from Ivik my lovely daughter in Law and my son Darren . The sandwiches were well presented and tasty , next tier consisted of Pig in a blanket and mini quiche , top tier was mini scones and pancakes with jam , clotted cream and real butter . The end delight was a very nice assortment of cakes . The tea and Prosecco went Dow a treat as well . Myself and my wife highly recommend their high tea . I have cheekily asked my daughter in law to book us in again next year life permitting.

This is a lovely cafe, beautifully decorated. It is really like entering someone’s home, you are made to feel very welcome. The cakes are delicious, I can’t comment on anything else on the menu but I liked the atmosphere. I did see someone at another table having an afternoon tea which looked really good so perhaps I would try that next visit.

I booked here for afternoon tea for my friends birthday. The booking was for 2pm and we were 20 minutes early but the owner was very obliging letting us have our table early. The table setting was beautiful with lovely napkins and an Alice in Wonderland teapot. The cake stand was exquisite with plenty to eat. We must have had about 10 sandwiches each which were all delicious. There was a layer on the stand with sausage rolls and the most delicious quiche I’ve ever tasted . The scones and pancakes were fab . There was a separate plate with 5 cakes each on it. We did think at one point we might have to take the cakes home but no chance, once we started they were too delicious to stop. They were amazing especially the strawberry tarts. There was plenty of tea if we wanted more. The owner and her daughter were very friendly. We will definitely be back and I will be buying vouchers for here for Christmas presents.

We stopped in Auchterarder on our way north to Forres. Although too late for lunch we opted for coffee and a cake. The coffee was delicious and the carrot cake was out of this world!! Home made by the owner! The cafe itself was bright, clean and inviting.

Had soup and sandwiches the bread was supermarket bought, it wasn't that busy but service was slow, price was a bit steep for what we had

Excellent traditional tea room run by owner and staff who were very helpful and lovely. Three of us had booked afternoon tea and on arrival were placed in a nice table with traditional table cloths, china tea cups etc. The food was all home made and absolutely delicious. lots of sandwiches, sausage rolls and another tray full of miniature cakes. Excellent value and really great experince - thanks to all.

My friends and I recently visited Mimis for vintage afternoon tea.

Made to feel most welcome with our children ..food was delicious and served really quickly which is always a bonus when you are trying to entertain little ones ..children made such a fuss of which was lovely ...premises immaculate and very tastefully decorated

We popped into Mimi's for a lovely lunch. The owners have changed but the food is still delicious and all the cakes are homemade. It's a family run cafe and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I will return the next time I'm in Auchterarder.

We popped into here to meet the in-laws after a stay at Gleneagles. It is a really cute little place, that is really nicely decorated.

Mimi's is an interesting little café with unusual décor and a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and attentive and there is a varied menu which is reasonably priced. The quality of the food is excellent as is the quantity. Worth popping into Mimi's if you're travelling on the A9 near Auchterarder.

Stopped of for coffee and cake! There was a great selection of cakes to choose from! The staff were lovely and service good. For me the cafe is just too cramped with tables and for anyone trying to get to the toilet it’s a bit of a squeeze.

Stopped at Mimi's for a quick lunch before golf. Lovely menu. Our sandwiches looked lovely and tasted great. The service was wonderful. We wish we could have returned for breakfast or tea, which also looked inviting.

Rather than stop at a motorway service area we detoured into Auchterarder. We popped in for a coffee and scone. This is a tiny cafe about the size of the average Living Room, it was going like a fair with local folks which is always a good sign. We had a lovely coffee and scone with butter and jam for our mid-morning break. Nice, friendly staff.

Lovely food, good portions and well priced. Staff very attentive and will adjust menu if required. A little gem of a place and if heading up the A9 divert on the road to Auchterarder the same road leads you back onto the A9 and visit for breakfast or lunch.

A wonderful welcome, excellent food and a plate of little cakes on the house. Everything was the kind of food that you need to offer a taste of to those with you, which, I believe is tge greatest compliment.

The decor and the fact that this cafe is dog friendly attracted us to eat here. Wish we hadn’t bothered. Whenever we went in the cafe was full of smoke from cooked breakfasts they are definitely in need of a vent. I came out with my clothes smelling of bacon and eggs!! Coffee was nice but waitress took our order wrong. Fried eggs instead of poached, no toast with cooked breakfast, definitely not good food. Don’t waste your money.

Went in for a coffee with colleagues in the afternoon but we didn't realize it was a quarter to 5pm not very late anyway. The lady didn't even greeted us but wanted to be sure that we were informed that the shop would have closed in 15 minutes, so we decided to leave full stop.

I was staying in Auchterarder and decided to venture into the village for a coffee and to read my newspaper. I chose Cafe Mimi as it looked welcoming and just the place to relax. However...
