We have salads, they are excellent. The staff is pleasant and we ate across the waterwheel.

Excellent 1 night stay (Xmas present) at The Old Mill Inn. Ideal location, lovely big room with super comfy bed, spotless clean bathroom and huge room very nicely decorated. Great bar and restaurant are. Fantastic breakfast made to order, served by super friendly staff. Will definitely be back and would totally recommend staying hete. 😁

Had dinner here and were seated near the fire which was wonderful on a cold night! Everything we ate was delicious and we enjoyed the Hazy Day IPA. Service was good and meals were plentiful.

The Old Mill Inn is an institution in Pitlochry and we went there for dinner. We were given a table in the outside terrace. We ordered Haggis bites to begin with and 2 beef burgers with a bottle of Argentinian Malbec. The burgers were very juicy and tasty served by a pleasant waitress. Recommended!

We came here as a pit stop during our trip to Pitlochry. This place is a lovely, cosy pub with a nice old fashioned water wheel outside to add to the scenic location!

Ok, the food here is excellent, and very well presented. Lots of staff here also. The main difference between this place and another restaurant I went to last night was the price, this place is more expensive by 20% and the staff, far less attentive, mostly just going through the motions.

Absolutely wonderful service from everyone we encountered at the hotel. Room was immaculately clean and food was lovely. It’s been a long time since I’ve received such excellent service from anywhere. Would definitely recommend and will most certainly be back. Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our two night break to the old mill inn, Pitlochry. Rooms are spotless and especially like the walk in shower. The restaurant and bar offer a varied selection of food and drinks. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and would definitely recommend the hotel.

Fantastic place for a short break, excellent rooms absolutely spotless and everything you need for your stay, location is just off the high street which is ideal, food was reasonably priced and great quality but the highlight of our stay was the staff who were all excellent, friendly attentive and nothing was too much bother and made us feel very welcome, and we will certainly be back again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very late to leave this review however I absolutely have to! Myself and my partner had a 3 night stay here in January and to say we had the best time is an understatement! The attention to detail in this place is incredible and absolutely made our trip.The service was the best we’ve potentially ever had.. never left hanging ,super attentive, super friendly…and the food was literally the best we’ve had in years! (We stayed in twice just to eat in the restaurant) We don’t like to repeat a visit generally as there’s so much world out there ..however this will be the exception!What a place. 👏🤩🥂

Absolutely loved it. I stayed in room 12. It's a beautiful room, big bed, excellent bathroom boasting villeroy and boch sanitaryware. From the moment i walked in, i had a lovely friendly greeting and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was top notch..i had eggs benedict for breakfast both mornings and highly recommend it. It's a lovely pub with a working waterwheel outside and a cosy log burner which i enjoyed sitting by while reading a book and having a drink. My only gripe is...i can't visit more often!

My son called in to this pub to watch the Celtic game tonight and what I can only imagine are anti Celtic or catholic bar staff turned the game off and refused to put it back on so I would not recommende here if you follow Celtic

I only stopped by for a drink on my return to Edinburgh, the place is charming and the Bellini I ordered was very delicious.

Great restaurant. Very friendly staff. The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Absolutely recommended.

On arrival the Old Mill Inn was very cosy, inviting and had beautiful christmas decorations up. We arrived around 2.30pm and our room was ready which was amazing! The receptionist showed us to our room which was number 9. The room was cosy, and the bed was very comfy. In the bathroom there was a choice of a rain shower or a hand held shower. The rain shower was amazing and the temperature gauge was easy to use. We went to the restaurant for dinner, the staff, atmosphere and food were excellent. The only thing I would make people aware of is that if you are staying on a saturday in room number 9 you will hear the band until 12 and the car park is a little hard to find. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

We purchased tickets to spend New Year's eve here. We visited on the previous day and had food, which was very good. We had a great night for Hogmanay. The only thing that was a let down was the price of a pint! £7.10 is too much in my opinion. That said, we'd budgeted for the few days we were there and had a great time in Pitlochry.

We had a wonderful stay this past October for my 50th birthday. The Old Mill Inn is a small, cozy hotel right in the middle of Pitlochry (a beautiful town and the perfect spot from which to explore the Highlands). Our room was lovely, complete with a sitting area, heated bathroom floors and a very comfortable bed. Super clean and quiet. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

REVIEW ONLY ON THE RESTAURANT PART OF THE STRUCTURE I went to this place to sip beer and eat something, the location is beautiful, unfortunately ruined by some of the staff who were not very polite and very sloppy in their service. We would have happily dined inside the restaurant but, after the aperitif, we went to another restaurant (something that is not lacking in this splendid village), saddened by the attitude of some of the employees. We asked for explanations about the dishes and received an unsatisfactory and equally clear answer, just to give an example.

We have been here several times and it never disappoints. Small, friendly but very classy. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a deluxe room which was beautiful, but the standard rooms are gorgeous as well. Restaurant is excellent, breakfast made to order so very fresh. Staff are brilliant from housekeeping to bar and restaurant. You will love this hotel, I cannot fault it and look forward to going back

The Old Mill appears to just be another pub when you arrive, but that is not the case. We were shown to our room, Number 1, at the rear of the building, and it turned out to be more like a 5 star hotel!! The room was large, spacious and very well appointed, with a superb bed, a very comfortable sofa, and a large bathroom with a lovely bath and separate shower. The room was far more comfortable than I was expecting, and with the window open, we could listen to the small river flowing past, that used to power the mill wheel. Breakfast in the morning was also very good, so all in all, a very nice place to stay and we hope to return one day.

My husband and I stayed for one night in Nov 2024. The bedroom was stunning, the room had everything we needed and importantly it was spotlessly clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent. We will definitely return.

Was in Old Mill Inn beginning of November...didn't stay here so can't comment on rooms...was overcharged for first drink so mentioned this to staff member when I went for second drink so I was charged a lower price this time and given the balance back too...so that was good.. It can be very draughty whilst sitting nearby the door and we didn't have a choice as the bar and seating area was busy although I did notice there were plenty seating further through the back which was closed off.. I expect that area was the dining room? People were trying to get seats and I had a dispute with a woman over seats so perhaps that area could have been opened as it was busy?..

Wee overnight stay. Lovely cosy hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Food freshly cooked and very tasty. Dead central for retail therapy in bespoke shops. Will be back!

Stopped in for dinner following a lovely evening at the Enchanted Forest. Even though it was nearly 9pm,there was no issue with getting a table. The host was welcoming, service was warm, rapid and friendly. The food was lovely, served quickly and efficiently. All in all a lovely evening. Well worth a visit, staff were a credit to the establishment.

Not fresh homemade food, asked for something without mushrooms in and was told no, asked for veg instead of just peas and had to pay £5 extra for a bowl of veg as they couldn't swap as veg more expensive, Rather expensive place.

A Sunday lunch that was perfectly edible at a reasonable price but nothing special. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Dined here both nights at weekend during our stay in Pitlochry. Fish was lovely ,soup and sticky toffee pudding also amazing . Best of all are the amazing staff ,lovely attentive and polite .We always come here when in Pitlichry.Atmosphere is very relaxing and warm .

I got a voucher, for a significant birthday, from my family, for an overnight here. It was fantastic. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.

A fabulous hotel with not too many bedrooms. The room was comfy with top quality bed linen and towels. We ate at the hotel and found the food really good. Breakfast was delicious too

Good service in a lovely location! We enjoyed a very good vegan curry. Not the cheapest but the service from Sharron and the location made up for that! Cash is warmly welcomed.

We stayed for two nights. The room was very nice designed, comfortable bed. We had a room at the front of the building and it was a bit noisy, although there was a sign saying not to be. Service was very good. The restaurant has a nice menu and the food was great m. We had fish the first day, very good and the second we had the belly of pork braised porchetta and we really can advice this, delicious !

Stop in for lunch lovely pint of Guinness, lentil soup and a pastrami sandwich which was delicious. Service was excellent they have outdoor dining and dinner menu. Good choice to eat when visiting the town.

Nice place, good location and staff friendly. Dog’s welcome which was good. We were sat quickly by the manager and asked what we’d like to drink but didn’t come back with them. The waiter came with the menus so we ordered our drinks again. It was busy so we didn’t worry about it. We were told the specials and my husband ordered the Tuscan bean soup to be told it had run out, which I thought was odd to mention it. We both had the beer battered fish & chips. The fish was nice but I would have preferred proper hand cut chips rather than frozen fries, sure a shame as it was expensive for what we had. Drinks were expensive too. Nice enough but not exceptional.

Passing through Putlochry and stayed one overnight in The Old Mill. A little pricey for the stay, little pricey for the food but I must say there were no complaints. Good food for a tad over the normal price. We would have no hesitation in staying again.

Stayed at The Old Mill Inn as part of a special birthday treat. The deluxe room I booked did not disappoint and was as advertised. We ate in the restaurant twice during our weekend stay and found the menu varied and delicious, the breakfast was tasty and substantial with a great choice too. The staff at the Inn were professional and courteous and all in all we had a wonderful stay. We would definitely return.

Had an excellent stay at The Old Mill Inn. I’m very fond of Pitlochry and have visited multiple times. However, this was the first time staying at The Old Mill. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. The food was tremendous as well as the outdoor seating area for day drinks. Would highly recommend staying here. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

The old mill is gorgeous. We always pop in for a drink when we're in Pitlochry. Sometimes we eat here too. The food is gorgeous. Lovely place and great atmosphere, dog friendly too.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at The Old Mill Inn. All the staff were warm and friendly and really couldn't do enough for us. Food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Our room was spacious with a huge comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom. We found the Old Mill Inn spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days away.

When we arrived, me and two granddauchters, there was no room, but the waiter took us to a table that had been reserved a little later, so we still had just over an hour to eat something. Friendliness is an asset there. Moreover, the food is very tasty and the kitchen follows well.

This place is literally my favorite place on earth I love everything about it we have been here before but never stayed overnight until last weekend everyone is so welcoming and helpful the rooms are spotlessly clean we booked a delux room for 2 nights as our 14 year old son was with us which had a waterfall right outside the window we were meeting up with family who also booked an overnight stay the food is excellent the whole place is just stunning I can’t wait to stay here again 😀

Love this place, it is warm and welcoming and staff are so friendly. Extensive range of drinks available and a comprehensive menu with something for everyone. Dined here on multiple occasions and the food has always been excellent. Live music nights are great too. We are already planning our 4th visit to Pitlochry later this year, and The Old Mill will be our 'one stop shop' for food, drink and entertainment 🥰👌

Myself and my partner have just arrived home after a two-night stay at The Old Mill Inn. Our experience from check-in to check-out was brilliant. All the staff were so friendly and willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was very memorable. The rooms are of a high standard, very comfy, and are spotless. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis but also had an evening meal one night. The food was excellent and the live music in the evening at the weekend was also very good. We are very much looking forward to our next visit to The Old Mill Inn, thank you very much to all the staff, who work hard and bend over backwards for you.

We ate dinner at the Old Mill inn. The food was very good. A little on the pricey side for some of the portions given. My wife had the fish special which was salmon and the amount served was quite small.They also use boil in the bag rice quite openly as they dish the food up in full view. Nevertheless the food was tasty with a good wine selection on offer.They also have locally brewed beer as I had the old mill inn lager and it was very nice. Probably the best meal we have had in Pitlochry with this being our 3rd visit.

The food was nice enough, nothing wow and quite overpriced, as were the drinks. Staff were nice enough but the manager on shift was quite rude telling us we'd need to move to a smaller table if a larger group came in. Okay, that's understandable but it wasn't communicated in a nice manner. Also when we asked to have a look at the drinks menu her response was that it doesn't have all the drinks on it. Such a strange way to talk to customers. We'd planned to stay all night for drinks after our meal but decided to head elsewhere as it wasn't very welcoming. Seems a bit overrated for an average bar/restaurant.

What a lovely trip to pitlochry and the old mill inn. From the moment we arrived to to the moment we left! Staff were just lovely. Shown to our room, not had that in years!!! Room was just stunning, overlooking to water fall, luxurious and opulent. Felt very spoiled. Had the mist amazing bath!! Lunch and breakfast both perfect. Cannot wait to get back.
