Great service and the cocktails were good quality. We wanted a nice drink to end our evening and the cocktails were fantastic. Staff were friendly and brought our drinks to the table. Nice ambiance for an evening drink.

Well kept cask ale but nothing particularly inspiring. Got the sports channels on TV and the service is friendly & efficient.

We booked Christmas meal for 6 on 20th Dec 22. We were given a room to ourselves which was nice , our waiter was good very friendly. The meal was the worst Christmas meal we had. Turkey fine, the vegetables were rock hard and the amount per person was terrible including 3 very hard runner beans , 5 Half Brussel sprouts ( too hard to put the fork in ( even waiter couldn't) and 2 pieces of another veg it appeared that who ever was in the kitchen had taken the portions out of the freezer and hadn't microwaved them long enough. The desserts were passible but not great , then we came to mince pies, pies is not the word ( one bite) we would use they were not much bigger than a fifty pence piece with a spread of filling no bits just a brown gel. The waiter was most apologetic and offered us free drinks but as there was 4 elderly and 2 drivers the drinks were 4 soft drinks and 1 half pint that didn't equal a lot of money. We paid £179.70 for these meals. I realise that the price also includes wages , heating etc but we have had many meals out and this is by far the worst.

Lovely local pub. Lee gave 10/10 service and would 100% come back again in the future.

Was 16:52 when I came to get a coffee today. They said they were shut as soon as I walked in. I'm sorry but the closing hour is 17:00. Does not take 8 mins to make a coffee. Unprofessional service from staff today. Not impressed at all.

Very poor Ordered a Cumberland sausage sandwich on white bread When it arrived it was plain processedpork sausages in supermarket sliced bread The ketchup (in a Heinz bottle refilled) was cheap and vinagery When I questioned the sausages I was told it was all they had I won’t be visiting again!

El personal aquí es muy amable y servicial, y muy servicial también. Gran café también! Sí, muy buen café. Bonitas tostadas. Bien tostado 😀😀

Nos conocimos aquí como era conveniente para el paseo en el centro de York. El personal era lo suficientemente amable, pero mi café era el más pobre que he comprado. Ni siquiera olía a café y costaba £ 2. 50 . Realmente prefiero no dar una crítica como esta a una pequeña empresa sino como mínimo. Mi pareja tomó el té (también £ 2. 50 ) y esto tampoco era potable. Bebimos media taza cada uno y dejamos el resto. Lamentablemente no puedo recomendar a nadie. Realmente impactante para York.

Sin embargo, al hacer el pedido le preguntamos esto sobre esta oferta para que nos dijeran que no está disponible ya que es la época de Navidad (esto es mediados de noviembre). Por lo tanto, se trata de publicidad falsa. Cuando le dijimos esto a la funcionaria ella groseramente nos respondió diciendo que no estaba disponible. También se afirma en su sitio web que es dos por £ 12 en cócteles. Cuando la camarera trajo nuestros cócteles dijimos gracias, pero ella frunció el ceño y se fue. Terrible servicio por la camarera.
