The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

Having not been here for a few years I won't be visiting again .sorry but the manager /owner of the cafe has such a bad attitude if you complain if your food isn't hot ! My friend ordered soup n a sandwich which came out lovely and hot but my order of a panini n chips came out chips first then painini a bit later on only to be cold chicken in the middle ! N cold mushrooms ( I ordered a chicken n mushroom n red onion panini ) to find it was cold in the middle ! I sent this back only for them to bring the same panini back out Having just been put back under the panini machine for the outside to be heated up but still tepid in the middle ! I didn't eat the rest of the panini I didn't want a dickie tummy .I was told by the owner or manageress that you can re heat chicken has many times has you liked because it was cooked in the first place ! I told her I wasn't eating it ! To what I was told she couldn't refund me just because I didn't like it !! I told her I wasn't arguing with her because of the cost ! Has we went to the till to pay she told me she had taken the price of the panini off the bill .I said thank you but for her to continue on how many times cooked chicken can re heated !!! I wasn't there for an argument I was there to have a nice afternoon with a friend. The atmosphere and surroundings are lovely but I think the lady in question would like to take advantage of taking a course in people skills and not come accross has so defensive and argumentative she may get a lot of better reviews n not negative ones like this one .it's a few years since visiting this place and it will be quite a few years before I would like to experience customer service like this again ! I would gladly have paid for food served n left it without saying anything but this ladies attitude was certainly worth a review ! The rest of staff were smashing. Sorry after this visit I won't be returning ! .

A fantastic breakfast experience. friendly staff, clean and tidy. The quality of the breakfast was superb, hot and tasty. this is my favourite breakfast spot in the area at the moment.

We decided to try this bistro which is in our village and we met friends for a catch up. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. We were given time to peruse the menu’s and the-special’s boards. We ate the most delicious food with a bottle of wine. The surroundings are lovely. Staff excellent and cannot do enough for you. A lovely few hours with lovely friends. We will definitely return.

Really nice local cafe with some excellent home made cakes. Owner is really helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit

Absolutely fantastic place would highly recommend for people to go here so warm and friendly the food was amazing and fresh. We had the most delicious cake for afterwards so light and fluffy the best ever we definitely will be going again

Had another beautiful meal rib chicken combo's excellent cooked so nice ..had fish chips wow was beautiful come every Monday different meals always beautiful..staff so nice friendly and manager always welcome xxx

Lovely breakfast yesterday morning, always accomodates with space for the pram. Alison, lovely waitress, always has great banter an nothing is too much trouble. Even when weve not booked a table!

Came for afternoon tea very nice, we had good service and excellent food

Great local pub with good selection of drinks. The plough has sky TV and offers quizzes.

Great pub. Good food during the day and great evenings out at the weekend. They keep it fresh with regular renovations and has a good outdoor seating area

Sunday 2nd August 2020 had a group booking for 16 and every single one of us was well disappointed. Been here a few times but this was really bad . Spent £400. Starters were ok but mains meals were a joke. We got the usual saucer sized dish with one roast potato one tiny floret of broccoli and cauli and tiny bits of carrot. Over half the plate was empty . Then to top it all off 4 of our 16 chose cheesecake and every one was frozen solid . What a joke. Also there was no social distancing there were 4 more tables with 4 people on making it 36 people in the small room on the right . I noticed the even smaller room on the left near the bar was packed solid. Staff wore masks and there was hand gel available but we didn’t feel safe . Visit here at your peril . We certainly won’t ever go again .

Literally had my wedding reception and evening party yesterday at The Manor barn, what a great day, The staff was amazing, Sue was so attentive,The food was beautiful couldn't have asked for a better place Thank you all

First visit since refurb pleasantly surprised tasteful decor loved the feature walls. Ordered ham egg and chips and Steak and Ale pie. Waited about 15 before dishes nicely presented. The ham was tender and full of flavour chips nicely cooked. The Steak pie had a nice crust and well filled. Overall a nice meal at a reasonable cost
