The Joiners Shop CafĂ© and Kitchen is a fantastic spot for families and dog walkers alike. With its charming âWoof of Fameâ board celebrating visiting dogs, itâs a welcoming place for pet owners. The food is delicious, the coffee is excellent, and the service is outstanding. Highly recommended by Nina and Lettie for a relaxing and enjoyable stop! Check out books for sale by local authors.

Came here for a family meal and it happened to be "Pie Night" (Wednesday), what a selection of pies to choose from at a really reasonable price. Other menu options also available as well as children's portions and favourites. All our diners had nothing but praise for the meals of their choice, a wonderful evening meal enjoyed in a very nice country pub atmosphere, highly recommended by all of us, well worth a visit. And finally can I say we were all made to feel welcome by lovely accommodating, polite and friendly staff, well done to everyone who made our visit so nice.

We were really impressed. Its just off the A1 and so convenient and relaxing on a long journey. My breakfast was top notch, beautifully cooked and the best mushroom Ive ever tasted on a Full English! We also bought a coffee and walnut cake to take as a present and it was toooooo good (as in I ate far too much!) The date slice was one of the best ever too. Thank you for a memorable start to out little break!

Unfortunately when we arrived we were told that there was on a 1 pot dish available. The full menu was off. Had this information been posted on their website we wouldn't have made the journey. On the first couple of times we ate here we really enjoyed it which is why we returned. Then there was a problem in one way or another so we stopped going, until towards the end of October 24. It was a disaster again. We thought they would have resolved their issues by now, sadly not. This is a community owned/run pub/restaurant and it ought to be doing extremely well,, it's sad to see that what they can do, sometimes, is get the guest beers right!

Visited for lunch with my husband today - first time! I had a lovely chicken / halloumi / sun-dried tomato salad and hubby had a very nice jacket with ham, cheese and onion, along with two splendid Americano coffees. Meal was just gorgeous and the service absolutely đ. The lady who served us was so friendly with us and other customers too. Spotlessly clean. Teensy bit on the pricey range but I'm nit-picking. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

We called in at the end of a fab walk. The welcome was lovely and the decor was even nicer. Robyn clearly takes real pride. Unfortunately it was raining, so we found ourselves stranded and forced to stay for 4 very enjoyable pints. We're told that food will be available from the end of July. If you're passing then pop in and support this great pub.
