3 of us went for dinner tonight and cannot fault the whole evening. On arrival 2 young ladies welcomed us with a friendly smile and quickly showed us to our table. We all ordered different starters and and mains along with a bottle of Chilean chardonnay. The wine arrived perfectly chilled and we sat looking forward to our meals soaking up the cosy atmosphere. Starters were well presented, tasty and left us looking forward to our main courses. A second bottle of wine, this time a red malbec was equally as good quality as the white. On to the the main courses, a medium rare steak perfectly cooked along with a pork and chicken dish both succulent alongside fresh vegetables and homemade sauces. Service and food were excellent. Strongly recommend. Fabulous value. Will definitely rerurn.

As a newcomer to Stokesley I went on here to find where we could eat with good reviews, consequently I chose this bistro. Well we were not disappointed. We agree with previous reviews, the food was excellent & staff very friendly. The menu is varied & I must recommend the cheese cake for dessert! As it is very conveniently positioned in middle of Stokesley High Street, for us meant we could do our shopping either before or after lunch. We intend to make it a regular treat & sometimes eat there in evenings with friends.

Decided to take breakfast out this morning, visiting Sadlers Bistro & Bar. A family run establishment with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff made me feel welcome, relaxed and service with a smile. Andrew the chef came out and mixed with the customers ensuring their choices from the delicious menu were as expected. A fabulous atmosphere between staff and customers. I would certainly recommend Sadlers and I will be visiting again. As I was leaving the Bistro was preparing for lunch with customers arriving and adding to a vibrant but chilled atmosphere.

Sunday lunch was delicious and the service was exceptional. Thank you we will return again very soon. The decor here is also fabulous

A range of positive reviews encouraged us to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The quality of the food and service definitely punch above the weight of a family-run establishment of this size. The crab and crayfish and goats cheese parcel and rocket salad starters were super tasty and beautifully presented. We both chose the Thai red curry which was perfect. We were too full for dessert but couldn't resist sharing the sticky toffee pudding and wonderful local vanilla ice cream. Americanos to follow and time to relax further in the warm atmosphere. Our compliments across the board on delivering a real dining experience at an affordable price. Well over and above value for money. We look forward very much to our next visit and thank Andrew and the team for a lovely evening. Highly recommended. The menu has a good range of choices but for us personally the options might not always be sufficient. By no means a complaint, just a small qualifier.

We have just had an amazing Xmas day lunch at Sadlers. We are a family of 9 with an age range of 12 - 82 all of whom enjoyed the day very much. The food was outstanding and the front of house service was ran beautifully by Jenny and Paige. Thank you so much Sadlers for a memorable Christmas Day

What a little gem! We were visiting friends in Stokesley, wanted a nice Sunday dinner and happened to find this lovely place. The food, presentation, service and surroundings were fabulous and they couldn't do enough for us, even putting a ramp out for a wheelchair. We would highly recommend booking as they get full very quickly.

The atmosphere, quality of the food and service were all excellent - beyond our expectation. We’ve been looking for somewhere local to take visiting friends and family and now we’ve found it!

Came here today for some lunch with my family and happy to say I was not disappointed and neither was anyone else. Two of us got the Sunday lunch which did not disappoint as everything was cooked to perfection for my liking and just the perfect portion if you opt for the 3 course offer as I paired mine with the delicious black pudding bonbons to start which once again were amazing. The staff were extremely accommodating towards us and were superb to my 3 year old brother who didn’t eat his food whilst in the bistro however when home he ate his takeaway chicken nuggets and chips and said they were better than McDonald’s so that’s a win in my eyes. The food and staff paired together made this a 5 star experience and we will definitely be coming here again soon.

Sadler's turned into a French bistro for the night. The five-course meal was well thought out and beautifully cooked. There was a great atmosphere. A sommelier was on hand to provide expert advice on the appropriate wine for each course. This was available to buy by the glass. A wonderful experience overall. We're looking forward to Sadler's next French evening.

Called in here by chance today as was empty inside but a few sat outside,we sat in corner and ordered food and cakes,all were delicious and went down well as also the professional service of the young girl in there,she was polite and helpful.it was not the cheapest but quality first class.we will be back

We were so pleased with our dinner last night, we were a group of 8 and we were very well looked after! The staff were so friendly and attentive and happy to offer recommendations on the menu. It was hard to choose because everything sounded so delicious but I went with a seafood pancake to start and a venison for main. The meals were presented beautifully and they tasted incredible. We had such a great evening and look forward to returning frequently. Over the moon to have such a great establishment close to home Would 100% recommend!! Thank you

Visited with a party of friends and were given an immediate warm welcome, the staff were very attentive and provided great service. The food throughout all three courses was excellent with great presentation. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, overall a great experience for our first visit and would thoroughly recommend the establishment.

We popped in for a coffee and were tempted into a breakfast after seeing how good the food others were eating looked.We were not disappointed! The food was delicious, the waitress with the long ginger hair was attentive without being overbearing and it was all very reasonably priced. We will be back.

We love Sadlers - it has such a lovely cosy feel and unique decor, and always great music and service. This time we called for a quiet Twixmas family meal on the excellent value Thrifty Thursday menu. This was three courses for £25 and had plenty of choice on the menu, including vegetarian options. We had the crab, prawn and cuttlefish starter which was fresh and delicious, and the peppered chicken main course with very good chips and salad. Desserts were a range of cheesecakes and lemon tarts, all beautiful and the coffee was top quality as always. Looking forward to our next visit.

Always loved Sadlers Sunday lunch and was gutted when I didn’t get chance to pop in and have one before the most recent lockdown. I have been visiting Sadlers since it opened for the first time for a lovely tasting vanilla latte, always served with a smile and a chat. The friendliness in the cafe bistro is always there whichever staff serve you. For reasons beyond my control, I was unable to pick up my order tonight, but this did not stop me getting the pizza anyway. Tonight, Sadlers went above and beyond in my opinion, to make sure I got to receive my order. This showed me how well they treat their loyal customers, it showed support and commitment despite the pressures they are facing throughout lockdown once again, and the adaptations they have quickly made to keep everyone safe, nothing is a bother to them. My little girl loves to visit with me too. I highly recommend this place and I will always support local businesses, especially this one. P.s the flammkuchen pizza I had tonight was beautiful. Where possible, Always support local businesses, especially those who go the extra mile no matter what :-)

We have the German Flammkuchen (like a pizza but better) for the first time we tried a selection they were all fabulous & served with a gorgeous house salad with feta & olives ... will definitely order again & would highly recommend that you give the Flammkuchen a try!

So I woke today really wanting a Sunday roast which I was going to make myself and then decided to support a business in these difficult times so I chose Sadlers takeaway Sunday lunch and my word I’m so pleased that I did. The food was absolutely gorgeous, I’m not sure what they use in their gravy but it’s stunning and everything was cooked to perfection and thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my family, I’ve added a photo please excuse the presentation and I hadn’t added the gravy at that point. You guys at Sadlers are doing a great job keep up the good work and stay safe all of you. I would highly recommend and will be back

I thought I'd give these Germany style pizza's a try. Wow I have never tasted anything like this before. Super thin crust traditional pizza well cooked, amazing toppings. They where incredible. We shared the spicy beef and chirozo pizza's. Highly recommended. Thank you sadlers.

Sadlers Sunday lunch was back in the menu for the first time since Easter, and it was fabulous. Beautiful Lamb, just mented in your mouth and perfectly cooked veg. We all came out stuffed,(with a pudding as well, of course) we didn't want to leave anything but a tip!

My friend and I went for Sunday lunch today. It was my first visit but will definitely be returning, Roast Beef was some of the best I’ve had in the area. Lovely friendly staff in COVID-friendly surroundings. We’ve said we’ll support their takeaway service during lockdown. We can’t afford to lose these independent little gems! Thank you Sadlers xx

A fantastic Sunday Lunch here today. Moroccan spiced vegetable soup the lamb rump and a sirloin of beef to follow. Fishised off with a very good caramel Semifreddo. The lovely girl who served us was happy and attentive. All in all a lovely meal. Will go back after lockdown and try their evening menu.

We went to Sadlers for morning coffee whilst in Stokesley for my wife’s birthday. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for lunch. The food is excellent, freshly cooked and ingredients are good. The atmosphere is lovely and the waitress is very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back again.

We live locally to Sadlers so frequent the bistro a lot for lunch and dinner. The food is always consistently great. Andrew is great at sauces which always have a real depth of flavour. Sunday lunch is also to die for. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s always service with a smile and I love that it’s dog friendly. Would highly recommend.

Food was fairly average but the real reason I came to write a review was because of the amazing service!! Amazing young helpful girl, Courteney I think she was called, Amazing, met all our needs and very friendly, truly wonderful staff at Saddlers!
