Exemplar independent coffee. We called in and found a barista at work who performed with such care in making our flat whites. The outputs were lovely and we were very satisfied. Magic

El delicatessen se ha convertido en mi must go to first pit stop cada vez que salgo en bicicleta en mi ciclo de mano. La comida es excelente, y siempre disfruto de los rollos de salchichas. Sin embargo, eso no es todo lo que he comido. Todo lo que he probado ha sido súper sabroso. El personal también es fantástico siempre salen a servir ya que no puedo montar en mi ciclo de mano que son tan amables todas las personas encantadoras. Acabo de llamar de camino a un concierto. Bollos de bao y patatas fritas de ajo a buen precio y una buena gama de cervezas, vino, etc. Asiento por dentro y por fuera. Servicio lento en los bollos de bao pero sabroso cuando llegó.

Great coffee and cake. Hubby had a slice of Millionaire Shortbread and our friend and I had the BEST carrot cake 😋😋. Steve and Trudy welcomed us with warmth and huge happy smiles. They offer a varied breakfast/light lunch menu as well as loads of specialty jams & chutney’s to buy. If we could give The Cake House 10 stars we absolutely would. Thank you.

We dropped in after scouring the railway vintage memorabilia shop for a coffee and cakes. A very warm welcome from the staff and from the wonderful coal fire. We enjoyed the railway theme of the cafe and they have various Wensleydale Railway items for sale, such as beer and engraved glass packs. The home baking was excellent and the coffee hot and flavoursome. A good selection of snacks. It's the sort of place where everyone is relaxed and conversations with other customers start. Great to see and hear the trains going by. Seats on the platform if you want to get closer to the action.
