Cocktails around £10 per head. Lots of seating in a modern setting with lots of tropical / botanical themed decor. Extensive drinks menu with a cocktail list with a good mix of the classics you’d expect and their house special recipes. The blood orange spritz was particularly good. I asked for a negroni sbagliato. Which is off menu but there was confusion into what it was and I told them the variant recipe of the standard negroni (which was on the menu). It came out very tasty but made me nervous if you wanted an off menu cocktail. Service was quick staff were easy to get orders from and you paid as you go. Music was a bit loud but would go back due to the quality of drinks.

We visited this restaurant for dinner and it was easy to book online. It was quite full on a Wednesday night so booking is probably a good idea. My partner had hake which was very good. I had red mullet which was also good. We enjoyed our dinner.

First time visitor and wow the service and food was excellent. Clean and tidy ,staff friendly and very helpful. I tired the N.Y.U bowl with a pot of Yorkshire tea why not🙂 I was not disappointed an amazing assortment of tasty food.. Definitely will return.

Fabulous cafe with friendly staff, a lovely atmosphere and really tasty food. Lots of options, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Everything is made fresh and it really shows in the taste. Dog friendly as well, which is always a bonus. Will come back for sure!

Family run cafe, serving excellent food and drinks. They have an amazing selection of drinks, meals and snacks, and the service is friendly and efficient. Miles better than the impersonal 'chain' cafes, and definitely worth seeking out.

Tripadvisor brought us here and I am delighted to report that TA was right this is a great place to eat in Northallerton, so good we visited twice during a one week holiday in the area. We tried a variety of small plate dishes during our visits and all agreed they were exceptional and flavoursome although on one occasion we did try a couple of desserts which were surprisingly underwhelming but this did not detract from the exceptional food, drinks and service we had already experienced.

We started visiting Groovy Moo around 6 or 7 years ago and would call in for an ice cream literally every week and sometimes two or three times during the summer. They prided themselves on their huge "Yorkshire portions". The quality of the ice cream is second to none and we love it. However just after Covid they increased their prices, understandably, but also reduced the portion sizes significantly from 5 flavours to 3 with a large tub. They tried to say you get the same portion however this is nonsense as we have photos to show how they used to be, We didn't go for quite some time but recently started visiting again. Yesterday we called in and I asked for my usual large tub and the young girl serving gave me around a half to two thirds of the week before. I questioned this, giving the opportunity to top it up but she didn't. There needs to be more continuity of portion sizes. I just left feeling annoyed and the £5:50 paid was definitely not worth it. I think it will be a long time before we go in again. I love ice cream and the long drive for us would be rewarded with a good value ice cream portion, sadly this is no longer the case!

Visiting from Norfolk headed out for brunch having searched what's nearby and decided on this due to reviews and amazing looking eggs. The eggs Benedict looked great so ordered OG Benny eggs with bacon and a pot of Yorkshire fog tea. The food was amazing but the tea was out of this world and very hot which in sub zero snowy Barnsley was very welcome. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I will recommend and come back for more thank you. Dog friendly too always a bonus

Such a shame that such a fantastic place has had to close in such sad circumstances. Wishing the owners good luck in their fight ahead. Thanks for some fantastic meals over the years.

Visited yesterday for lunch with my daughter & husband in-between dance comps. Nice quirky, clean cafe & friendly staff ☺️ food was absolutely delicious mouth watering, Milkshakes best I've ever tasted 😋 100% recommend & we'll definitely visit again next time with my other two children as they can't wait to taste the milkshakes .

Always visit Mocha every time we're in Richmond. The chocolates are great, have had food there before too and enjoyed it. But the star of the show for me is the coffee. Their mochas are incredible, particularly the luxury mochas. I've been visiting a few times a year for the past few years and getting a mocha each time - their consistency in making the drinks is incredible, they taste the same every time and always amazing. Will be back soon for more of the same.
