The staff had to stop talking to serve me and I think this put them in a bad mood. Coffee at Costa is avarage at best, but generally the service is OK but not here. Horrible staff stay clear.

Pasteles, samoosas, etc. en la pantalla se ven y saben horrible, seco, duro, viejo. El helado mostrado parecía completamente antihigiénico. No importa. Fuimos allí después de una visita al Molino. Lovely sunny Sunday afternoon, husband and I shared a lovely prawn salad sandwich and fries. I have to say it was expensive but very tasty!

Después de haber conducido desde Midlands n la mañana vinimos aquí para una bebida y un bocado de lite. Una vez que hicimos nuestra elección desde el menú hasta la barra a pedido, se compró una ciabatta de gambas y un envoltorio de pollo con chile dulce ambos con papas fritas. 5 minutos después salieron de la cocina, chico llenaron el plato las patatas fritas eran caseras y grumosas, un poco demasiado para mí pero vfm. El día en que estaba allí era un sol brillante, así que en general un resultado, darles una oportunidad.

Sentado en el restaurante, acaba de tomar la sopa y el pescado. Ambos eran excelentes, calientes y muy sabrosos. Lo recomendaría para todos

Costa coffee in Malton very clean ,not so in Scarborough and Whitby .Outside areas dirty ,tables need cleaning after people inside crowded .plant based foods very limited

Popped in during a walk and what a lovely pub. Staff were hugely friendly and the pint I had was fantastic. Good value as well. I can't fault the place. Thank you

Could be a lot better. Had a latte and a flapjack after a walk. The flapjack was just a pile of crumbs served in a napkin. When i pointed this out i got a glass hearted sorry. Lost half of it on the floor. The coffee was barely ok. Disappointed.

I visited Costa Coffee today and initially had a pleasant experience—the staff were courteous and my drink was great. However, I was disappointed when I was asked to sit outside because I had brought my own pastries. I understand and respect that there may be a policy about outside food, but it felt inconsistent since I noticed other customers enjoying pastries purchased from Costa without any issue. I believe clearer communication and a more consistent approach would help avoid confusion and improve the overall experience. Unfortunately, this incident has left me feeling unwelcome, and I’m not sure I’ll be returning.

A well ordered,courteous & efficient establishment .An informed & patient customer focused staff assisted me in my choice of lunch Afterwards, I as I always do, had a chat with the Manager,a most appreciative individual and thanked her & her staff for their service.

Despite repeated complaints, they always have their music on too loudly. It spoils, what is otherwise, a pleasant outing. The manageress told me that the customers prefer the sound at the given level, and she would reduce it 'very slightly'. Whether she did or not, it made no difference. Avoid!

Roxanee was amazing, so helpful and a delight too be around. Perfect afternoon with the grandkids
