Jo is lovely ,friendly, and always a great atmosphere this is our Wednesday routine now. We love it here .

Visited on Sunday for a birthday meal. The food was really lovely, sunday roast the best I have had for a while. Our server Millie was very attentive,we had brought cake and she was helpful in bringing it out after the meal and throughout. Overall, definitely recommend and will return. Thankyou

I've no idea why but this place lacks atmosphere. The decor is at total mish mash of styles. Food - average. Service - inconsistent

I recently booked the Calverley Arms for a family function with 30 guests and extremely delighted with the high quality service provided. We had an area booked in the restaurant with the vintage buffet selection and we were very well looked after by Jo on the day. The food, service and atmosphere was fabulous. Highly recommended.

An excellent lunch & drink experience at The Calverley Arms, Pudsey on Thursday 13th March. The three of us arrived for a family lunch without making a booking. The staff were all great, especially Jo, who took care of us throughout our lovely meal. We'd enjoyed pre meal drinks of beer & coffee..then chose from the wide ranging menus. The burgers looked fabulous, tasted even better, whilst I enjoyed very special salmon fishcakes. The ice creams & sorbet rounded things off nicely, and I loved my mini dessert & hot drink. All round a great experience and recommend, for both food and quality of service. There were lots of other dishes I was keen to try! Thank you 😊

Excellent service from Jo today. Had a very nice lunch with a friend. Food was very good and Jo was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Stayed here for two nights with my two sons. Felt incredibly safe and will definitely visit again. Room was comfortable and a great size for a family room. The mattress was very firm and the pillows were far too soft. Floor was very creaky but all bedrooms are on 1st floor so I don’t think it bothered anyone out with the room.

Had a lovely meal and used a voucher my husband had received for long service at work Lilly really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble and the fillet steak was excellent and everything was cooked beautifully by Adam and Alex A great evening overall

A warm welcome greeted us on arrival at The Calverley Arms and we were seated at a lovely table for two. Many thanks to Joe for giving excellent service during our lunch. She was very helpful with my food intolerance and was very knowledgeable about the name Elwood written into the stone on the wall at the entrance. The food was lovely and value for money with a two or three course lunch option. It’s five years since my last visit but we will be back soon with friends as we would recommend The Calverley Arms to anyone.

We had a super starter both having the excellent Calamari. I had the Salmon Fishcakes which we were told was the first day on the menu and they were super. My wife had the Mac and Cheese which was disappointing. Garlic bread was tasteless and the sauce was too thick and not enough of it. It actually looked a starter size. However, we were well looked after by Jo who was very helpful. Notwithstanding the Mac and Cheese we will definitely go again as it is very welcoming and the luncheon menu is of great value.

First time visitors to the Calverly Arms. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and handed the lunch time offer menu with lots of dishes to chose from. We decided to get 2 courses each for just under £20. We asked Jo for recommendations and the food was spot on! Lovely location, very clean and gorgeous decor. Jo was super! Can't wait to visit again ☺️

Thank you to everyone at the Calverley Arms for another lovely stay, we were very well looked after. Previous Stay: Thank you to Catherine and all the rest of the team at the Calverley Arms who were so helpful for the duration of our stay, helping us cope with the chaos of a broken legged toddler and a broken pram. The room was perfect, clean and well provided, with plenty of space for the kids to play, and the food in the pub was delicious. We were made to feel very welcome, and will certainly be returning, if only for the joy of secret puddings to take up to the room after the kids are asleep.

Service at the bar was amazing, your bar manager (Awny) was a good laugh. The young dark head lady at the bar, didn't get her name was polite and friendly. Seated with the in-laws as we had booked, our service from Imagen Was first class. Bit of a problem with my mother in-laws food, chef did come out, break down in communication from kitchen i believe is a true statement. Sorted anyway, thank you.

My friends and I had a wonderful time, celebrating my 70th birthday, made better by Millie who was very helpful and really pleasant and made a big difference to our enjoyment.

Lovely place to eat. Always busy. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is gorgeous. Very tasty and beautifully presented. If I want to be picky, the staff member attending our table forgot to order our drinks initially, but another staff member sorted that out. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning as it's one of our favourite places to eat.

Absolutely wonderful place to visit! Beautiful building, amazing staff, delicious food, and spacious rooms. If I'm in the area, this is the only place I'm going. Also - the roaring fire was both welcome and stunning. Just a fantastic place to visit. Special shout out to the manager Catherine, who was really welcoming and extremely accommodating to one of our group who's a bit of a picky eater!

Nipped in for lunch one day last weekend. The setting is beautiful (stunning building!) and the staff were all extremely friendly & welcoming. Our meals were all delicious! We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

On our booked Valentines visit, we arrival at 630pm we were seated in the entrance of the restaurant, clearly a table that was an 'add on' to squeeze in as many people as possible, which I can understand for late arrivals or customers that haven't booked! But it was only 630pm and the restaurant was quiet. Starters delicious, but several members of staff walked past our table (as it was the entrance) and didn't even notice we had finished our starter or offered to clear our table so when another waitress arrived with our Chateaubriand there wasn't any room for the food, my husband and I cleared and held up the plates until her hands were free! Plates arrived after with steak knife but no folks, so we had to call over a staff member. Had to call someone over to order a drink then call them back to clear the empty glasses, I appreciate these are small problems, but an accumulation over an hour was quite irritating and disappointing. That said, the food was delicious and steak was cooked perfectly, just a lack of attention to detail at front of house.

My visit was on a Sunday, there was ample parking, once inside we were met with a warm welcoming smile, and taken to our table, the menu was selection did not disappoint. The food was delicious with great service.

One word from my best friend and I. Perfect. We love having lunch here because of Jo who always gives us a genuine warm welcome and really looks after us. The food is consistently good. Thank you.

Valentines meal Honestly very pleasantly surprised - menu was a lot less “heavy” which is why we chose it. Service was excellent and not ott. Food was excellent cooked by Danny and Adam and Georgia the server was excellent. Highly recommend and great value!

Millie was helpful and friendly, couldn’t have asked for better service! There was a vegetarian option (stuffed butternut squash) that was on the Valentines menu when we booked but wasn’t on the menu when got there which was disappointing but the mushroom risotto was lovely. Lemon tart is the best dessert we’ve both had in a while!

The food was delicious, the starters, mains, and desserts , we all walked away saying how good it was and would go back . The staff were on the ball , very polite and spoilt the little ones .

It was a ‘ok’ meal - unfortunately when your spending 80-100 pounds for two people you expect more these days ! The heating was on full pelt and it made it uncomfortable to eat as we were right next to the radiator- I’d like to say our waitress was lovely chatty and a joy to be served by ! Lovely clean nicely decorated surroundings too .

Many thanks to Kathryn and the Calverley Arms team who were so professional but friendly, very helpful but not intrusive. My family and friends travelled from all over the UK to be there, so to receive such a warm, friendly welcome was so lovely. Definitely recommend for an event. Their coffee, flapjacks and food hits the spot. Great atmosphere, food, ales, etc all served with a smile, now thats a rare find these days. Thank you

Booked as a group of 5 but 3 people cancelled last minute but this was no issue for awny and team. Food was delicious and drinks were amazing. Service was friendly and genuine from Dan our waiter who gave us his informative recommendations and always had a smile. Will be back again

Went out for a family meal and the customer service was appalling, nobody came and greeted us or shown us to our table when walking in, the food is too pricey for what you actually get given, the scallops were no where to be found and was just a bowl of cheese sauce and a few prawns, we also got given the wrong food which is fine as mistakes happen however they were brought back out seconds after and given to another table. We asked for drinks numerous times and didn’t seem to get them even though they already put it on the bill, it would also be appreciated if the waitresses wasn’t talking and saying sly remarks about our table as one it is not professional and two not pleasant to see and hear when nobody did anything to provoke the behaviour. We just didn’t feel comfortable or welcomed here as the waitress were quite rude and will definitely not be returning as this isn’t the first time I have walked out of Calvary arms with a unsatisfied meal and service

Me and my partner find this spot a decent place to get a bite to eat. We have never had any issues so far and always are left satisfied and full when finished. Breakfast was the choice for us to visit today, I ordered the “Full Cooked Breakfast” and my partner order the “Pulled Beef Brisket Hash” pictures attached to make your own judgement. If you are willing to spend that little bit more, you get that little bit more. Overall the price is reasonable as the food was delicious and the presentation was mouth watering.

The greeting we had from Kieran was exceptional and the service we received was far above expectation. The bar area was clean and welcoming with a warm cozy atmosphere. The food was a little hit and miss for us. Our starter Thai fish cake was very greasy and I was unable to eat. For mains I had steak and it was perfectly cooked and presented. For desert I ordered the honeycomb dome which is described as white chocolate dome, filled with silky chocolate mousse but that's not what I received. The dome was Orange chocolate with ice cream in the center which both I am not a fan of so left the desert also. The waitress was fabulous but the poor lady was ran off her feet as the restaurant was busy so felt I could not make a complaint about the food

We eat out regularly in various types of restaurants & have a favourites shortlist. The Calverley Arms is at the top of our list; friendly, happy staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Tasty well cooked food of a consistently high standard & the atmosphere is cosy, welcoming & relaxed. We visited for Sunday lunch last weekend & were served by Dan who is an absolute gem!! He has served us before & this time was just like all our other visits - he was friendly, polite, professional, smiling. Despite being very busy, Dan remained calm & unflustered & regularly checked in with us throughout our visit. Can't recommend The Calverley Arms (& the whole team working there) highly enough. We'll definitely be back to see you again soon!!

The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The food was good but as.me and my friend are both elderly im afraid the portions were too big. Consequently we were both overfaced and wasted some of the food Many places offer smaller meals these days, perhaps it is something you could look into.i visited again today. My friend and i both chose fish and chips and on request were given the childrens portion which was very welcome. I was disappointed tho that my previous suggestion to offer smaller portions has not been implemented. It cant be economical for the restaurant to have food wasted not because there is anything wrong with the food but for some the portions are just to big. I appreciate perhaps the whole menu couldnt be offered on this basis but surely a selection could be possible.

A lovely lunch with friends at the Calverley Arms. The staff were really attentive and kind and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this establishment for lunch or dinner.

A very comfortable stay, staff very friendly would highly recommend. We woke up to extreme snowy conditions, we cannot thank the chef enough for helping us off the carpark,way above the call of duty, top fellow 😀

Food was very substandard. Service speed was shocking and wasn’t a very friendly atmosphere.

The third year we have been for New Years Eve and again it didn’t disappoint! Fantastic food, service and entertainment. The staff were very attentive ,a special mention to Imogen who went above and beyond making our evening enjoyable !! Will definitely be booking for 2025 cannot thank the Calverley Arms enough , fantastic 10/10

Lovely overnight stay, only minor issues was pillows weren't quite right for me, but that's a very personal choice (nothing the hotel could have done about it)

We came on xmas day for lunch having visited many times before. Food was good & came out in good time unfortunately, my xmas dinner had items missing, no pigs in blanket, no stuffing & no bread sauce as described on the menu. I wasn't offered an explanation as to why this was either. Had to ask for cutlery several times & also offered no condiments to go with our main course, not even salt & pepper on the table. We were sat at the back of the restaurant near the toilets, so out of the way & had to spend quote a bit of time trying to get the attention of staff for drinks & cutlery etc. When it came to paying, there seemed to be some confusion, we were told the bill would come out to us, 10 mins later we asked if we could pay at the till as it still hadn't arrived bit no one seemed to know which table number we were. Overall, it didn't spoil the day as such but I don't think we'd book again, sadly.

Had Christmas lunch Lilly was ace at our table food was ok not hot some plates had pigs in blankets and stuffing some didn’t. Pudding plates smelled had to return but all in all we enjoyed the atmosphere and the service D Waudby

Party of 5 celebrating christmas eve. Steak cooked perfectly for one of the party, 2 enjoyed chicken & prawn kebabs with mixed salad. Sea bass with lovely choice of seasons veg. Deserts good sized portions plus coffees. Thanks to the chefs Adam& Joe. Service was great by Naz & Awny,attention to detail & nothing too much to ask. Thanks for a good time
