Icestone Gelato in Leeds

Went for the first time for my son's birthday to give him a treat. The atmosphere was the first ick, sadly. Using outdated fabrics and an odd table and booth layout. And during a time they should have been busy, we were one of only a few. For much of our time, we were alone. Their cold stone for the ice cream was severely broken, and it looked like it was filthy, or sludge, coming out from under it. Only positive for the atmosphere is the display of all the sweets. They did look really good. Tables had empty dishes on them while the girls in the back didn't look very busy. The one was polite and apologetic, and didn't seem to know much about what was available or not. The other was quiet. For food....sub-par. Taste was alright, brownies for the fondue were really good aside from being a bit old/dry on the edges. They were out of half of the things we asked for. Many of the drinks, including OJ, were missing. We had to go to their cooler ourselves to see what they had, which wasn't much. Same when ordering, I ended up not getting anything for myself and had to modify my son's chocolate fondue order because they didn't have enough cookies for the order. This place has potential. If they modernized it, make it more sleek and professional to match the style of the menu, deep cleaned, updated their equipment, and actually trained their staff, and had better product management....this place could be a hot spot easily.

atmosphere was weird the music was blasting and all me and my boys can hear was “money money money” some next dead tune it gave me a headache. Furthermore one of the workers she forgot to give us forks for our dessert like what am i supposed to eat with and the crepe was dead. Never coming back

Some dirty food I ordered 2 cookie doughs, they tasted soggy and rancid. I also got 2 vanilla ice cream scoops, tell me why there’s bits of bubblegum ice cream in it. Terrible service they don’t even pick up their phone. Would not recommend coming here, stay away and go ice scoop instead it’s much better. If I could give minus stars I would

Disgusting. I ordered 2 cookie doughs they were literally burnt, I couldn't take of the parchment paper and the were rock solid. I couldn't get a spoon through it.When i tried calling the shop they weren't picking up even though i rang multiple times. Very disappointed.

Great customer service, really nice ambiance and good food. Got the banana & strawberry crepe and gelato scoops and it was good. Not the best but good. ☺️

Got a Nutella spread crepe and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and really nice. The place is pretty clean and nice, but the bathrooms weren’t great imo. Overall though it was a great date out

Good food, quick service, polite staff, pleasant atmosphere. Our order was a 4 scoop ice cream, milkshake, and crepes. One flavour of ice cream was out, but they weren't impatient as I took my time to decide which other flavour I wanted instead. Would definitely return, at least to try the hot desserts for myself.

I'm from overseas, and I wish I could take this place home with me!! Absolutely delicious sweets that totally hit the spot. It's sweet, but not so full of sugar that you feel sick after, and you can appreciate the taste and flavor of what you ordered. There are soooo many options, and the strawberry shake I got was perfect! Aayan was super kind and helpful and gave us a great first experience. Everyone is so welcoming and cares a lot about their service and the quality of sweets they serve.

👤Staff seemed like they didn’t want to serve anyone even though it was not during peak times and were not very busy. Tried to order 3 different flavours of gelato but was begrudgingly told after that they had none. ⏱️Fairly quick service time 💰£10-15/pp. It costed £8.98 for the pancakes and a single scoop of ice cream ✅Would recommend the crepes ❌❌Pancakes were dry, tasted slightly doughy and were smothered with what tasted like super sweet strawberry jam. Would avoid these. ❤️‍🩹 Have had previous positive experiences with the restaurant but would advise avoiding the pancakes.

Been here a couple of times and love their desserts and service but was served today by Aayan and his service was swift and courteous. 10/10 would always recommend!

Food and service were lovely, bit of work going on in the establishment which ruined the atmosphere a bit on our visit, but otherwise fantastic and reasonably priced.

Madulika was really nice, and good in service.I like the most chocolate pudding. Superb place!

It's an ice-cream parlour, what do you want ...the coffee is rubbish but the waffles are ok .The "Bathroom" was disgusting.

NOT A GELATO! I don't know how they can get away with calling this Gelato. Supermarket ice cream is actually better than this.

This place is so calming with good music and the waffles are to die for !! They are so soft and all the combinations just melts on your tongue. And our waitress Silvia, was so helpful and nice!! 5 stars for her!!!

Incredible ice cream, friendly service and great drinks too. Recommended for any dessert fanatics, especially with the variety of options too. Sundaes, Fudge Brownies, Pancakes, Crepes.

The food was very nice however the service was even greater, was treated extremely good when we came in and all our needs where attended to. Other businesses should look into having there staff have the same enthusiasm and attitude to work that was shown here.

Came here last evening and it was nice I love cookie dough from here however this branch I’m un impressed with as I have severe food poisoning it wasn’t cooked for long enough and I woke up a few hours later after arriving home at 1am with vomit all over I want a refund and a manger to reply to me

Me and my friend came into the Icestone Desserts on a whim craving Ice Cream. We got amazing service and wonderful food! Definitely recommend.

Asked by staff to leave review. And she stood there til i scanned the QR code to do it and began filling it in, felt pressured to say yes. Prefer leaving reviews by choice not being asked and watched to make sure i do. Previous experience here was fine. Decent gelato, but uh, we might go somewhere else now... 🤔

Shreya was absolutely lovely this evening. The icecream and peanut butter cakes at Ice stone were really nice. Five stars all the way!

Staff were helpful however Jerry caused some issues regarding a refund, the atmosphere was dull and rather uncomfortable. Our friend noticed the toilets had not been checked/cleaned since 11am and we visited at 7pm. Silvia was a lovely staff member she was having a laugh with us as we were leaving and sometimes had a smile on her face. The food was stale and we couldn't eat half the desserts we ordered. Silvia was rude and laughed when we had an issue with the refund.

silvia was an amazing staff member she was helpful and allowed me to use their plug socket for a charger all though another member of staff ( jerry) was quite disrespectful and wasnt giving the 5 star customer service that is needed i would appreciate if he had extra training and was able to understand the 10 steps of customer service i have been here many times and i have loved going here with friends and family all though the way he talked about me was very rude and coming of an ice stone gelato staff member many thanks tyshaun

My wife took me there as she had seen good reviews online. Was disappointed from the front door. The entry way from the outside is dirty and shabby on the inside. Decor looks dated. As for the dessert, my wife's dessert was so sweet she could only have one spoonful. She also had one scoop of icecream which was ok but very small scoop. Disappointed with the baklava and ice cream dessert. The only thing that tasted good out of what we ordered was the Mocha. Would not recommend and would not return, uh maybe for a Mocha but I doubt it.

The food was excellent, I had the Peanut butter stack sundae and loved it although it was very intense, my partner had the strawberry cloud Sunday and found it delightful. The atmosphere could have been improved by some background music. Other than that, the service was great; very welcoming and friendly.
