Came today to Costa Coffee in Brigg and it was absolutely riduculos! Have ordered two drinks - Salted Caramel Frappe and Strawberry Frappe. During my order I told, that I would like a decafinate drinks. Miss, who worked on the till told me, that "Yes, we are making decafinate as well', so I have ordered. It was a pick time, so we waited quite long time and finaly they made us the wrong drink. So, we waited more. Finaly we recived our order, went outside and I decided to try (because drinks were for sisters) and turn out that it is JUST milk with strawberry dopping and cream on the top. For 4.30 £ each!!! I returned to caffee and decided to clear up the situation because is is ridiculos! In my point view decafinate frapuchino this is drink with decafinate coffee (espresso or instant coffee), but I didn't expected to recive drink without coffee at all! It was just milk and doping! I tried to figure out the situation with the stuff, but they were quite busy to give me a time. The lady, who worked on the till, just squized between us and went away. I am so sorry, but I am quite dissapointed by service in this caffee. I hope, my rewiev will help to improve the service!

I cannot quote on food as you do not cater for me as I am Gluten Intolerant and find such a big company is quite disgusting in this day and age

Nice coffee shop situated in a small market town of brigg . Coffee was good . Only let down by a long wait for the coffee to arrive .

Typical Costa. Friendly and helpful staff although often understaffed with tables left uncleaned - not a big problem but when paying these prices should not be the case. NO WiFi - Why not? NEGLIGIBLE GLUTEN FREE FOOD - Costa seem to have given up even trying.

Just the place for a quiet coffee

This Costa is dirty, staff are ignorant and rude. It could be so nice for a small market town if it was run properly but the staff let it down big time. There are plenty of other places for a nice coffee in Brigg.

The hot chocolate was cold took it back and the staff wasn't happy

Very busy coffee shop and the usual overpriced offerings! Quite a few people in the que waiting a long time to be served with their drinks, we were sent to sit down and wait for them to bring ours over. Every seat was taken until we got right to the back by the toilets. (Which one was out of use due to not flushing) The staff were very transactional, putting the drinks down on the table next to us. The cups were all wobby from the plastic, possibly being put somewhere hot and melted the flat base. No conversation or pleasantries were made or any attempts to be made welcome. My drink was basically a cup of squash for nearly £4!!! The rest of the group enjoyed theirs, though. The whole place emptied while we enjoyed a catch-up.

Manager who was about 18 was the most rudest member of staff,she was very abrupt and definitely someone i’d want working for my establishment,there’s no wonder the shop has a high turnover of staff with people like her working for the brand The latte was terrible,no added chocolate as advertised,but it was too much hassle to ask so we drank a few sips and left and fair to say i won’t be going back if you want a nice coffee or other drink in Brigg then avoid here

Disappointing. Ordered hot chocolate but it has changed. It had little taste and seemed watered down. Would not order again.

Only popped in for a takeaway coffee - 5 minutes ago at 13.50 on 8th June. Walked in, nobody being served. 3 young girl staff members stood around. Talking. All of them decided to continue their conversation, totally ignoring me. Waited around a minute, then left. Worst experience I've ever had in a Costa. 3 arrogant young girls desperately need retraining.

Very scruffy Costa , noisy inside,tables not cleaned whole place looked unkempt. Toilets were in a state. Needs a shake up. Coffee just warm. In future will try the independents.

No one in que still had to wait a long time to be served , food wasn’t great hot chocolate had no cream on which I asked for the male staff that served me after he served me went out side for a cigarette and didn’t wash his hands furthermore during the night I’ve had food poisoning! Wouldn’t recommend going here

High standard as usual, only disconcerting things, slow service, slightly lower choice than normal. Location means this unit is always busy, but worth a visit.

6 of us went in for hot chocolates with cream to warm up before my son in law started working and we loved them. Staff where really friendly and welcoming it was a great little store

Very large costa for a small town, many tables were dirty. They seemed understaffed as they were trying to stagger orders it took about 15 minutes from entry for my drink to be served. Drinks were rushed being made as I think they were trying to catch up on orders. I can't fault the staff as they were trying their best.

Small Costa coffee, very friendly team. Not the greatest selection of cakes compared to larger outlets. Drinks served to the usual high standards, very comfy bucket seating

Went to Costa Coffee in Brigg, not impressed at all. Drinks we had were luke warm, staff didn't seem very interested in their jobs. When staff cleared the tables , they didn't even bother to come back and clean them , the floor was filthy, obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Definitely won't be coming back, and Definitely not a 5 star rating, more like a 1 star and perhaps not really worth that.

Went in with my disabled mum, no help with door. A lady with piercings served me and was very grumpy with no customer service skills. Cheer up please or find another job :)

Shocking, sorry. Young lad learning, but he was the polite one. Food cold and they never gave us milk I had to ask for it and also napkins. They just couldn't be bothered won't go again, love high street scunthorpe we will stick to going there.

Great Costa shop, staff are very friendly and helpful, they even bring your drinks to the table, so no need to wait around at the counter. Always clean.

Although staff friendly and the place is clean. Waited at the table for the drinks to be brought over but almost 30 mins had passed despite it not being too busy. Had to go back and reorder as somehow my order wasn't processed. Rectified almost immediately but I am now left wondering what would it be like if it was busy.

Friendly staff and good coffee. However, the almond crossaint, which looked really nice, was so stale it can't even have been from the day before. Seemed like it was days old - it was rock hard!

woman with pink hair was very rude and impolite, drink was made wrong. had to wait 20 minutes to be served. messy cafe. dirty toilets. never again.

Brigg Costa was great to sit in with a cappuccino on Xmas Eve and luckily not packed :)

Usually like a Costa as a treat but every time I go to this particular one the service is not up to standard and the beverages are not satisfactory either.

Untidy. One member of staff on duty. The strawberry cooler was unpalatable. Even after it was replaced it was terrible and thin. Bacon roll very good. No napkins. Second member of staff arrived. Ineffectual. Will go somewhere else next time. I suggest you do the same.

The floor area outside the shop was disgusting, litter and fag ends, hasn't been cleaned for weeks. One of the three tables outside was piled high with dirty cups and trays. The waitress brought out our coffees, the couple next to us had theirs, she stood at our table and said "Are these yours?" It would be funny if it was in a comedy sketch. She returned to the shop, walking past the table filled with dirty crockery. SABENA. Such A Bad Experience, Never Again.

Standard Costa serving the usual menu. However as it is a franchise they go not offer some of the deals available at other branches.

I use this Costa regularly and don’t recognise any of the negatives, staff are professional, friendly and I have never had to wait any longer than other coffee shops. They follow these Covid regulations and the outside tables are cleared and clean. It’s consistent and good coffee.

Ok if the steel rooms are closed (which they were as we Visited on Sunday). Tables not cleared very quickly, service slow as only 1 member of staff on who seemed miserable but the teacakes and coffee were delicious. Please support your local small businesses when they are open. They need our money money than chain cafes and restaurants do. They were well stocked with the delicious vegan friendly rocky road and the toffee pecan cookies! Mmmm! Didn’t have time for any though. Great place if you are doing veganuary!

Take it or leave attitude as far as no cups available on take out cups to use in store, told sandwiches would come to table instead staff stood behind counter a shouted, no not busy only about 5 tables in use at the time of visit. Will not use this store again N

My husband and I visited today while passing through. We have been here before and had really good customer service but today it certainly fell short. We go to our regular Costa at least twice a week with great customer service. I ordered porridge which I always have for hot water to be added , stirred then put on my tray . At my usual one they put it in a bowl and heat it in the sandwich oven which thickens up nicely . The one I had today was just like eating dry Oates . I said to the lady that I have it in a bowl at my usual one for her to say we don’t do that here . Our drinks were put in takeaway cups because ( the words of the lady in charge said ) we carnt catch up with getting the normal cups clean . My latte was awful just tasted like gingerbread milk .

Because it was so hot outside but inside Costa they had air con on full and everyone was so pleased plus it's the Best coffee around.😀

so there I was smashing my 9th latte of the morning when I see the big fluffy lump starring at me from the bar as if to say she was looking down on me just because of my coffee addiction. I am no longer a customer here as even I the hardest man in brigg feel intimadated by the animal behind the bar. NOT APPY

Tables were still messy from previous customer, service too slow - Staff seem to need direction - There are plenty of better Coffee Shops in Brigg, so use them.

Poor service at Brigg today. Fridge nearly empty, serving customers in wrong order, don't seem to know what they are doing!! Such a shame, been like it last few visits!! Oh and found hair in panini!!

Costa coffee High Street Scunthorpe, great staff friendly and efficient, comfortable seating, and great coffee.

The coffee was good although I wasn't offered a preference on size, the price shouldn't of been a surprise but it was.

Lack of staff and lack of coffee making skills . Start cleaning your coffee machine down too. The public can see the state it gets in. Dirty cups and plates litter dirty tables. Could smell the toilets from half way down the shop, floor sticky too.Try clearing the tables from time to time instead of a staff member sat at one fillling in some sort of work book. I realise this is a cuppacoff branch, but you still charge the same as a proper Costa. This branch is hiding behind the Costa brand. If you want a coffee get one from Couplands.

We ordered two hot chocolate drinks with cream, the cream was very yellow but we thought nothing of it. Straight away we realised it was off, as it was sour. My sister took it back to the till and was super polite, but was met with a very defensive “there’s nothing wrong with it” stated loudly enough for other customers to hear- said twice. She checked the date and stated that it’s still in date. This did not detract from the fact that it was sour and obviously left too close to the heat or a bad batch! Then some sort of backtracking ensued stating that a previous customer had said the same thing earlier! We did (after all this embarrassment) receive replacements but it was the sheer horrible initial attitude of the employee that we were just shocked at! Unacceptable and we wouldn’t be returning any time this millennium

Visited the place today. Place looked like a bombsite. All tables were full of dirty cups and plates. Floor disgusting.

We use this place regularly. It has a warm and relaxing atmosphere and the staff are second to none.

Unfortunately very low staffed , extremely slow service. And nearly every table cluttered with used cups and rubbish. Not what's expected when buying a premium coffee.

“Always excellent! Great service, great coffee, 5 stars of course!!” This was the review I placed 1 year ago and I gave 5stars, but today .... “1 star is too much!” This is not the first time that when we were there, cold, the drinks were cold, the food warmed up but still cold, and the temperature indoor were cold too! This is not the first time, they ran out of cups, forks, milk, cream, even staff! Either only one staff working one to one with long queue of customers, no cups need to give you takeaway cups instead, no forks need to give you plastic forks instead and even no cream and milk for your drinks! Or, or you see 3 or 4 staff walking around chatting about without anything to do! This is not the first time that we need to wait for sooooooo long to a very roughly made coffee which obviously made and served by some new trainees (you can see new faces every week!) can’t find where on the till the food we want to buy, need the time like he/she’s Christmas shopping on the internet! We had enough of going to a Costa as bad supervised as this. Absolutely not professional at all, shame on using the brand if the supervisor carry on running the cafe like this! There were used to be lots of hard working skillful staff there at least half a year ago but not any more I’m afraid. Will absolutely NOT recommend to anyone else at all, the two other branches at Scunthorpe have everything a lot better than this one in Brigg!

Very dissapointed told sorry we have no trays or forks for cake you could clearly see why when you looked at empty tables coverd with used untensils need to up the game abit .

Very friendly chirpy staff. Always got a smile and a bit of banter. Jade does a great job of managing her team and providing us with lots of lovely coffee and cakes!!

Had a 1 of the new luxury hot choclate that they have for Christmas was really nice very smooth. More like melted choclate than a normal hot chocolate

Sat having a coffee whilst the fire alarm was going. No fire but the steam set the alarm off. The staff were trying their best but seemed to be unable to get things done. Fire alarm could not be turned off as staff didn't know how make's you wonder what would happen if a real emergency happened. One member of staff had been drafted in and didn't know how things worked and the manager did not reply to the phone calls. Real doubt if we will be coming back.
