Attended a wake. The service by all staff was excellent. John Smith's was on point and Paul the perfect host who tended to our needs with sincerity and professionalism. Lovely little pub with a good selection of wares..

Love my local pub, Sunday for Bingo, Domino's on Monday, not eaten here but heard food was good good atmosphere, friendly staff

Super dog friendly, fantastic service. As pubs go, a little bit traditional but in a good way. TV always on the sports channel 👏

Sunday lunch advertised on board outside for £8. Was charged £9.50. When mentioned about it to staff they said it was £9.50. Very poor quality of a Sunday lunch. Will not be eating there again

Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Food is beautiful & very reasonably priced.

We met some local friends for some Christmas drinks. We ordered 2 mixed platter boards and we all commented how amazing they were! Absolutely spot on and delicious. We only live round the corner and can’t wait to come back and sample some more of the amazing food!

We went for Fish and Chip Friday and the food was delicious, staff very friendly and with 2 meals for £15 excellent value for money. We will be back.

We called here for Sunday lunch 1/05,after hearing a lot of good things through regulars about the food,we’ve been a few times just for drinks. The pub itself was quite busy with a mixture of drinkers and people eating. We found a quiet cosy area to sit and then went to the bar to order our drinks,the young girl on the bar was very smiley and chatty,as a barmaid should be. We all took a while to make our choice of meal but the set menu of a main course and desert for £10 seemed good value for money with a additional £2 if you chose to try all four of the meats,four of us did and another had a vegetable option. The food itself was delicious,the meats just fell apart and they served a actual homemade Yorkshire pudding which is always a bonus. The only issue we had was that we were served one bowl of vegetables to share amongst five,surely it should’ve been two and after a quick bar visit it was soon rectified. For deserts three quickly decided on the chocolate fudge cake with the other two opting for rhubarb crumble and custard and a ice cream sundae. We were all extremely satisfied with our meals here and would recommend.

Lovely place! I live in Scunthorpe and never knew this pub even existed. The Wife and I called here with another couple. The pub has obviously had a revamp and credit to whoever did it, they've done a crackin' job! Paul the guy behind the bar was very welcoming and friendly. Can't comment on food as we didn't eat.

Visited the wheatsheaf inn, Belton last night, karaoke with Stevey B and jenny Great night and as always great people looking forward to the next time.Merry Christmas to you all. xxxx
