All ok but it's like going back in time.

Untidy, could be so much better. We ordered black coffee got milky coffee, doggy bowl really dirty shame

Friendly and excellent value for money.

Terrible. Got order wrong, they forgot about our order and we were left for over half an hour waiting for the wrong items. It wasn't even a big order.

Run down outside seating. No visible menu outside.

Ordered a bacon cheese burger with chilli sauce, only got a cheese burger took it back into ask about the bacon and chilli sauce and there responce was "oh sorry didn't think you wanted bacon on it" then never gave me the bacon, my partner ordered a cheese and coleslaw jacket potato and it came with no cheese, they have very few vegetation options and its incredibly expensive, will not be going again

Service was gud, people was nice, very clean, would call again, dog,s welcome - did call again, and yes it was very good had a bacon en egg, this time, it was spot on just what the doctor ordered , and staff yet again welcoming and pleasant , if i could give it 10 out of 10, i would, and no not been paid to say this, just a great place to stop and have a breck from driveing,, shaun

Cold, but been decorated should het better

Been a few times on a Sunday only to find it closed. Which was misleading as said open on the website

This was a lovely café to visit. Firstly it was friendly, and the staff helpful. Unique wall paintings. Food excellent and reasonably priced. I've edited this review, as on reflection I think it is worth 5 stars. As it is not too far from the Humber Bridge it makes for a quiet and comfortable coffee break, or a light meal. Easy parking too. Hopefully we will use again in the future.

I love going in here there chips are lovely .I went in yesterday I had scampi and chips in a basket it was very nice and lots in the basket it also had salad in it .My hubby had poached egg but the eggs where hard .It was really cold in the cafe so this needs addressing but all in all we will be back.

Very ramshackle exterior and car park but what a surprise inside. Lovely coffee, (fresh coffee beans) and a really nice taste; good tea; large, fresh tea cakes and incredible value for money. Don’t be put off if you enjoy good fayre. You’ll love this place.

En route to humberside airport, I stumbled across signage for cafe mews. Pulled over and was initially perplexed by what I saw. Old tumbledown buildings, aged vehicles on display including a large crane vehicle. Walked inside to a real rustic building and was greeted by a real friendly lady. Ordered a tuna sandwich and coffee. Both lovely. Sat outside in the sun and felt really relaxed. Unusual but kind of charming in a way. I’d return if passing through.

We call in here quite often and are seldom disappointed until today. The food was over cooked and the toilets concidering they now have a key pad were minging

We were starving so called in here and ordered 3 breakfasts & a breakfast bun. Sat outside as weather lovely. Staff very polite but prices are very expensive. Tables could do with a good clean outside & breakfast was ok apart from the order being messed up & only two breakfasts being sent out & two baps but we ate it anyway. Would have selected good if it was available

Very clean and friendly. ..although we didn't have the breakfast it looked absolutely delicious would recommend to anyone who is passing or could de'tour......

Lovely home cooked food, very friendly staff

On our way back, we were looking for somewhere to stop after driving a long way and spotted the sign so we drove in. A big mistake. The interior is ok with things for young children to do but as it was a nice sunny day, we decided to sit outside under one of the few tables with umbrellas. There were some attractive flowers on the wall but the other side was just a tip with lots of weeds. We ordered cheese and ham paninis for ourselves and sausage and chips for the children. The staff were friendly enough but not the efficiency. The meals took a long time to come and the quality when they arrived was poor, very overpriced at a cost of £6 each. The paninis were just to say ok (they came with a very small salad and a minute plastic tub of coleslaw) but it must be said that we've had much better elsewhere. The two sausages and chips for the children were very poor (overcooked and the chips looked as if they had been standing around for a while) and whereas the children always eat everything, even they left some of their meals. Will we stop there again. Not a chance and if you do, then you can't say you weren't warned.

It's a nice place but the prices have gone up. I paid £12 for two bacon and egg sandwiches with coffee to take away. That had gone up £3 since my last visit. It really wasn't worth it.

Called in twice now for a medium breakfast and to say i don't like Hashbrowns and funny with type of sausage i eat its blooming scrummy! Lovely place friendly staff, and the Artwork is fab. Yet to try the chips maybe next time :)

Popped in here with friends for a coffee, what a lovely place with friendly staff, we didn't eat but saw some of the food on offer and some of the servings being dished out, all looked very good. A lovely establishment. 👍

This relatively new family run business is ideal for the weary lincolnshire traveller, nothing is too much trouble. Good food, friendly service, great atmosphere.

Great venue for a party and meal too

We sometimes call in here for a quick break when on our way to Grimsby or further on into Lincolnshire always very friendly and great cup of tea we did have breakfast at one time which was very good too.

We stopped for a second time at Cafe Mews. Last year we came and were put off by how cold it was. This year the temperature has not improved. Sat eating in coats. Also the breakfast was all deep fried in beef dripping. I really don’t think breakfast should taste like chip shop. We ate it because we were really hungry and we didn’t want to upset the young man serving all by himself. The beef dripping could be smelt as you walked into the gate- it’s not really appealing to smell of chip shop when you want a nice coffee and dinner. The menu has also expanded to allow lots of low price, cheap food options like hot dogs. Great for the passing trade in summer heading to Skegness but not great for locals that would like to visit for lunch. Generally we just feel that they are using very cheap foods and focusing on cost rather than quality for the customer. Decent sausages(Lincolnshire) from local butchers and quality ingredients would be nice. We had 2 medium breakfasts and 2 coffees for just over £15 but the ingredients probably cost less than £3. They were very cheap. It would be nice to see vegan options available too.

Went with friends and the order took half an hour plus to arrive. My order was forgotten and I had to ask for a refund, and the service was somewhat poor considering the reputation. The food that did arrive was at an acceptable quality and was well presented The interior was well layed out albeit strangely decorated and the pricing was reasonable. In the end it’s an “ok” Cafe if you don’t mind having an hour to spend for lunch but there are many other options you could consider.

Love it here, always clean, tasty meals

The cafe is a gem. The food is good, staff friendly and owner Paul & Jane have done a top job on the decor. The murals a fab. Will be back.

We were on our way to see our son who lives near Grimsby. As we were a little early we decided to call in to Café Mews for a coffee. We sat outside and had a lovely coffee.It is different and well worth a visit. Prices are excellent too. I recommend it. Good value for money. Although we did not eat the food looked very good and again very reasonably priced.

Called in on way back from Skegness had the breakfast everything tasted good quality ideal stop off place my wife had a slice of cake which was fresh and tasty highly recommended this place

Good food lovely service really friendly will definately call again

Coming back from holiday in Mablethorpe on Friday 15/6/18 and stopped here for lunch, I have travelled this route several times in the past but missed this gem of a café, there were 7 of us including 3 young rowdy grand children, the kids were a bit bored having been in the car a while but this did not bother the welcoming and friendly staff one bit, there were books and games to keep them occupied while we waited for our food which only took a short while, the food when it did come was absolutely spot on and the best meal I had had all week, I highly recommend if you are passing this place to stop in I will be doing again and again.

very deceiving from the road as it isn't that visible , but inside it's lovely the food superb and not badly priced , friendly staff , will certainly go again and recommend it

From the moment we walked in we knew we had found a great cafe. We were welcomed warmly. We ordered the medium breakfasts which came with toast. Breakfast came quickly and hot. Would defo recommend this place. Would have been interested to see any local produce being sold here ie meat, veg, plants, crafts

Absolutely love this place, cakes are amazing and the coffees are delicious especially the syrups. The staff here are also some of the friendliest people, service with a smile!

Called in on our way back from Brigg on a wet soggy afternoon. What's better than a bacon butty and chips cooked in beef dripping? Lovely selection of home made cakes, scones and plum bread, sandwiches and paninis. A really lovely welcome by all here. Definitely be back. Breakfast next time.

Popped in after my mother in law had said how nice this place was and she wasn't lying!

It's great to see this local farm cafe spruced up, re-named and re-opened. The new management have done a great re-vamp job and, for those of us who used to frequent the old farm shop/cafe, it is a surprise when you see the new look. Many more tables inside now and great artwork throughout (see photos). It's an old farm building and the cosy blankets are a nice touch. The service was prompt and the menu had plenty of choice, including a favourite cheese omelette. The pot of Earl Grey tea by Taylors (Harrogate) was very nice too. We will be back soon.

Called in for Sunday lunch, staff where very welcoming as was the establishment, the produce was freshly cooked and the whole meal was delicious, reasonably priced and very well presented.

I stumbled across the café driving past and noticed the bold and beautiful sign (you'll know what i mean when you go). Jane and the girls couldn't do enough. Fantastic eclectic environment, effortlessly relaxing. Great food, greater price and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. They also do extra bits as well to enhance the trip, from real Christmas trees for sale, to regular events in their courtyard. keep it up and i will see you all again soon!!
