I am only in Scunthorpe for another week. . I went alone to the Lord Robert’s on 2 occasions. Live music night Saturday. The Welcome from bar staff and patrons was so warm and welcoming. Love it. Thankyou because you can take the girl out of Scunthorpe ….. not the Scunthorpe out if the girl. See you all Saturday 24th for my Goodbyes. Thanks to you all. Special thanks to Rob Cardy who watched out for me

Great little place, fantastic live music, friendly bar staff, bouncers on the door. Very cheap drinks a bonus too!

Enjoyed father's day Sunday carvery here, this is my parents favourite place to eat carvery as the vegetables are not covered in sauces. Highly recommended.

Only popped in for a swift one. Barmaid was very friendly and helpful 🙂

Was visiting Scunthorpe popped in here for a drink . Wery friendly efficient staff but the music was very loud that you couldn't talk to each other without having to raise our voices.

Been about 20 years since I have visited this place. I decided to take my family for a carvery as was in town centre doing some shopping, tbh I do not think they were looking forward to going in but upon arrival was met with some ever so friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The carvery itself was lovely everything went down really well with my kids except for the carrots which had dried out under the heat from the lamps but did not put anyone off and all plates were emptied. Hope to visit again soon

Went 4 a carvery today with my daughter and the meat melted in my mouth , plenty of veg all fresh, nice meaty gravy, the pub was lively with sports on TV and the staff were friendly, especially the guy with the beard I think landlord who was more than helpful when we was playing pool... Will be back best carvery we had this year..

Having moved away from what we considered our "local", we called in today on a rare visit to town. I really needed something to eat (due to medication) and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I only had a small breakfast but it was perfectly cooked, nice and hot and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kirsty is a definite asset to the pub.

Lovely warm welcome pub, reasonable price drinks and an absolutely delicious cooked breakfast which I will definitely have again on my next visit. Very clean and tidy and friendly staff too. Brilliant.

Lord Bob's is and always will be my favourite pub,the beer,staff,food,music,bands,are the very best.

Not alot of choice at this end of town so gave it a try good pint John smiths no much atmosphere but was early and midweek

Been for Sunday dinner with my mates and I've final found a place in scunny that does fresh food, u can read my past reviews and this place is different it's not green king or Toby it's a family run pub with fresh vegetables and home made Yorkshires, not smash it's proper mash potatoes, friendly staff good atmosphere with two lots of different sky sports and a pool table which u don't get ripped off by. The beer prices are good but the food is that good u won't need beer after, but u can chill in the beer decking area...best carvery in scunny by far...

I Love this pub I always feel welcomed when I'm here.

Big space - very clean, comfortable and recently decorated. Good friendly service. Ordered a rhubarb gin with ginger ale - would have preferred Fevertree or similar to the Schweppes - but that's a matter of personal taste. Also ordered chicken and ham pie, with chips peas and gravy. The pie was home-made and the chips cut and fried in the kitchen too. Nothing bought in frozen - even the gravy was home -made. At £5.50 who could complain - really good for the money. Plenty of chips - would rather have paid £7.50 for a slightly larger slice of pie - although the piece that cam was adequate, rather than mean. Overall g a good experience - enjoyable - so Lord Bob - sock it to Wetherspoons - your cooking is much better, as are your ingredients.

Fantastic Sunday lunch as always here, brilliant choice of veg roast beef awesome. Been here many times and it's always superb, all staff helpful and down to earth.Great quality food at great prices look forward to going again thanks lord Bob's.

Band really goid. Staff pleasant but needs work on facilities.

I love coming here for some pool and a drink, however I would not recommend coming here for a pub lunch, especially during the weekdays (they may have a different and perhaps better chef on the weekends). When I asked for a medium rare steak, the chef came out and asked me how to cook steak. The chef apologised for having little to no experience with cooking steak. In the end, when eating the steak, it felt like eating a leather belt. Also the chips were awful.

This is the best pub in town, a proper traditional pub. Has live music at the weekends. Can get busy depends on the band that is playing. Staff friendly and you get served quickly.If you need a taxi home I would book as there generally isn't any outside

A old school sports bar. A fair sized crowd and good selection of Alchohol.

Been in a few times now and all staff are very friendly and helpful. Great selection of beer, larger, cider and spirits. Shows all major football matches and other sports. They have a jukebox and entertainment at weekends. Food served daily and carvery on a Sunday.

All meat and Yorkshire puddings were cold. Mashed potato were watery smash ( member of kitchen staff even came out mixing some in a cerial bowl to add to the service point). We felt rushed and needed to move after 30 mins, even though bookings are every hour.

Well Run Family Pub with friendly staff and excellent selection of food and drink. Good Entertainment on every weekend with live bands and excellent Carvery at very good price on a Sunday.

Been here a few times for the Sunday carvery which certainly doesn't disappoint the food is all home made and freshly cooked reasonable prices too.staff need more manners as have been a bit rude on occasions also beer is hit and miss although cheap.
