I just want share what happened me i bought shirt next day i returned b/c was big size for me then when they Scan the shirt they say the shirt was not sold out then they took my shirt. I show them my mobile banking app that i pay for it, still they don't believed me next day i went to my bank branch got same evidence back to m&s show them was not enough for them they want check the cctv after they find out i was right and after all this i got my shirt back...very unexpected

Just been served by Sarah, barista at Meadowhall. Lovely and professional customer service. Makes a stressful shopping much more pleasant!

Distinct lack of staffed tills in clothing

Bacon sandwich fatty and pink in colour like rubber Small cheap bread cake dry but the lady who served it lovely and polite

Great experience! I was struggling to find some sunglasses that i couldn’t find. A very nice and polite lady who was working upstairs with short blonde hair was extremely helpful! Sadly they didn’t have any in stock but she made such a huge effort in trying to find some in all areas of the store! Can’t praise her highly enough! Thank you

Very Slow service .understaffed. To large so lacks personal service .( like a conveyer belt ). Was better when smaller and two of . Asked for decaff coffee was given caffeinated. If my daughter had not noticed i would of been extremely ill !

Poor treatment of staff and no compassion for workers or customers. Would never want to be a customer nor a worker for them.

Just has fish and chips in the cafe, Meadowhall . The fish was so overcooked chips were burnt and cold….. worse ever meal.

Amazing service this morning on womenswear, an assistant went out of her way to find me a top that was showing in stock (the last one from the Sienna collection). Special mention to Donna too who was so very helpful when completing my exchange for my new top

Only 1 person on the whole shop floor . Had to approach the cafe staff for help! Ridiculous

Shocking place to shop went here with my partner she was looking for a new dress it was just like walking around a flea market the clothes and styles were Shocking then we went in the cafe we had fish and chips it was edible we had two coffee to go with it £3.15 each the cups were like thimbles I will not be eating here again for sure

proper upmarket shop like the others Marks' yet this one has not enough staff

Speaking solely about the food section, as this was the only bit we visited, put simply this is how all M&S foods should be. It's a 45-minute journey for us to visit, but well worth it. Nice wide aisles, fully stocked shelves, lots of open tills and a huge selection. I honestly did not know M&S offered such a comprehensive range of food as even the mid-sized shops seem to have very little choice. Not M&S meadowhall. You can legitimately do a full shop here without the need to top-up elsewhere.

Over the past few years buying clothes has been a dream. The clothes have been up to date with the fashion world.

Still no improvements, vastly overrated. Painful slow service, uncleared tables, mess on the floor, disinterested staff with snail pace movement. Really don’t understand why people flock here. Food only average.

You have to book online for a bra fitting now, and most slots are gone a week ahead. They don't even have any signs up saying this. You have to find a staff member in the know to get this info. I just walked into Victoria Secrets instead. Got treated like royalty there, fitted expertly, and spent 90 quid there instead!

Nice big store within Meadowhall shopping centre. You can always find something here to buy as my mother did. The staff here are really friendly and chatty which I liked. They’ve changed to paper bags now in the store and they’re quite stylish I found 😂 Foodhall is located on the ground floor.

I did need help choosing a red wine as a present, but was told no one was available to help. As I don't drink red wine I had no idea which to choose. At the checkout the lady was very pleasant, polite and helpful.

An effective way to get from the train station to waterstones. Not really a fan of the clothing options. They look like they’re catered to older women. I’ve never seen an employee (do they have employees?). My girlfriend says she likes the food but it’s expensive.

Bought some shopping at Meadowhall M&S self service. After I paid, the terminal rang that an assistant was needed to authorise. I have no idea why as I'd already paid. There were no assistants. That part of the supermarket had no staff. I did not want to be accused of stealing, so after waiting a while, I just left the shopping which had to pay for behind. Now M&S has the food and my money! Terrible service.

Great produce. Fruit and veg is always fresh. Great choice of ready meals too and snacks.

I wanted to buy some bras and usually when I ask for help, in any shop, staff always points out there are lots of varieties and to have a look around but never really help me to buy the right size and all. But today I found Anne. She was amazing and so lovely. Went above and beyond. Helped me with the measurements and pointed out one according to what I described that I needed. Honestly, makes all so much better for the clients. I really want Anne to know that I was impressed with all the help and kindness making my shop stress free. Really appreciate her kindness. Thank you. I will come back and look for Anne to help me again.

Well done m&s cafe Meadowhall… mistake made with food order which meant order didnt go through. Staff super apologetic and fab customer service - given another coffee and cake to compensate. Food order sorted 😀

Shukri was really helpful and welcoming guiding us to wear the skirt we were looking for was, her kindness and positivity on a very busy Sunday afternoon was extremely refreshing and the best service I’d received in the whole of shopping mall all day. An asset to the Marks and Spencer’s team at Meadowhall :)

We went for a drink however we ended up waiting 30 minutes in the queue for water. The toilets were quite dirty and very busy as they have 1 cubicle .

Staff are always amazing! We do our weekly shop here and always feel we get what we pay for. Thanks!

I TOOK MY WIFE AND HER SISTER AND I WENT FOR A COFFEE WHILST THEY SHOPPED FOR CLOTHES.

Service was so slow and many table un cleared. Quality of coffee was ok but not as good as many places in Sheffield. Despite there being plenty of staff, they seemed to be competing with each to see who good do the fewest tasks in the longest time possible. Cafe windows were absolutely filthy. Avoid.

Good selection of food , clothes tend to lean to the older generation, but decent quality...

Unfortunately didn't have stock of clothes I went for, but overall a pleasant experience, good range of food, although best before dates would be helpful.

Popped into the shop looking for a coat .found the one I wanted no size on shop floor asked lovely girl named Courtney. She looked everywhere. Then looked in different places found the one I wanted ..a massive thankyou Courtney they are lucky to have such excellent staff I hope your manager sees this review x

I had a really bad experience with the customer service at this store. I bought a blazer at this store and wanted to return/exchange it. One sale assistance said it is ok, then the manager (Rebecca) came down and refused to refund/exchange/ or even give a credit voucher because I didn't have the receipt anymore. She has no communication skills. I don't think I can ever go back to that this store, as I was shocked by her attitudes.

Lunch spoilt by woman at next table having ipad on very loudly. Several people were complaining. Is it M&S policy to allow this in the cafe? No-one about to ask, only very busy staff serving. Always seems understaffed here - tables very slow to be cleared.

Visted meadowhall children's department for back to school clothes. There were only two fitting rooms available as the store had used all the other available space to store equipment (for the never ending moves). There were only 5 families waiting but we were there well over 15 mins before we could try on. Why design the space for customers and then remove the availability? Will shop.on line in future

A nice place to buy food or to do some clothes shopping.They also have a nice cafe and the food there is tasty.

Fast service, but eggs benedict flavourless with overcooked eggs. Jacket potato very dry cheese topping, not melted, no butter on the jacket potatoes. No tuna mayo as a jacket potato topping. Needs work!

A much better experience here and left with a smile on my face! Plus a kind lady was handing out baskets in the food hall for the customers where I think she makes a great face for the store!

I got food poisoning eating here. The hygienic conditions are very poor, dirty cutlery, dirty tables, food debris up the walls. Toilets are a no go zone. Contacted M&S four times today and they are not bothered, just keep giving different email addresss that don’t work. You can’t get a full English here or tea cakes and no jam with toast. No cups for coffee as the dishwasher doesn’t work. Staff not interested and when asked for anything they either laugh or say you can’t have this here. Suggest stay away and go somewhere different which thinks about hygiene and the customer. For us never again. It was never like this before, they are the new BHS on the high street and quickly racing to the bottom to go bust. Ps would have scored zero, but could not so a 1, I have been nice to them. Another 4 lost customers.

Deeply disappointed with the gluten free food regulations. M&S was once my go to food grab spot for gluten free food now it won’t be, I have been glutened from eating their pre-made food. BEWARE my fellow coeliac‘s even though the packages are stating gluten free they’re NOT, I have been so ill and its not the first time.

Can’t pay till 11am on a sunday what a bloody joke that is people have lives to get on with without waiting till 11am absolute pathetic excuse won’t be returning

Shopping with my elderly mother and it’s now card only self service checkout. We decided to dump everything when four out of the five self checkout machines were all flashing wait for assistance. Shame on you. I will be buying elsewhere with my mother.

Food area is very good but didn't get what I wanted in the general store.

I was surprised to see that the fitting room is gender separated!! It's not accepteble!! And the staff was unfriendly.

I'm sorry, but the service was horrendous. I was at the shop and I had some items that would not scan for their life. Luckily, Dawn and her colleague(Thank you so much Dawn!!) came to save the day and sorted the problem out. Overall, not the best experience there.

There is quality and varieties of items in the shop. It is very big and both men, women and children wears are available with restaurant inside for snacks.

Went in to cafe today at Meadowhall M&S for coffee. Asked for 2 regular cappuccinos @ £3:15 each. One lady on till & another one making coffees. Lady making coffee looked across & asked, did I want Colombian? I said ok as long as it’s not weak coffee, just wanted 2 regular cappuccinos. She said it was a richer coffee. No mention of extra cost! Lady on till then charged me £3:40 per cup, when I said I ordered regular size she said that I had got Colombian & it was extra. There are no signs nearby to say it was extra money. It was nothing special at all and definitely not a rich taste. Fleeced by stealth, won’t be back

Couldn't find much to buy. Lots of horrible fabrics and designs that didn't appeal to young or old. Very disappointed ☹️

Just had the pleasure of visiting M&S at Meadowhall for a quick bite. What a fantastically well stocked well staffed shop unlike our Hull branches which are quite frankly frustrating! Please expand our lines!

Self service tills! I bought 2 pairs of slippers but had to scan each slipper individually, took a while to get the procedure right so wasted time as cue behind grew. Couple in front of me gave up and walked away from their intended purchases. Also only noticed middle and old aged white people, like me, shopping there- just saying.

Been in meadowhall today, can't believe their are no manned tills, iam sure most of m&s customers are of pension age and are not up to date with self scan tills, when I was in their was 3 staff stood around doing NOTHING, why could they not man a till. NOOY HAPPY customer

Terrible self checkouts the staff was service was appalling apart from two, Dawn and her colleague my mum was trying to buy something and would not scan we were stuck there for 15 minutes. Luckily, Dawn helped us to scan the products thanks a bunch Dawn and her colleague.

M and S used to be a good shop, but the restructuring has made the shop awkward for the male shopper re changing rooms; and the self service tills are very disappointing to see, presumably staff numbers have been cut and the shopper is left to do their job ! Shame on you M and S corporate greed knows no bounds

The cafe really isn't great. The quality of the food is good, but execution is poor as it seems like staff training is really lacking. Customer service wise, no issues at all - everyone was pleasant and friendly. However, we were given a toasted sandwich that wasn't toasted (warm but soggy) and coffees with flat milk. Given that most of the food is pre prepared and just being heated up, it shouldn't be that difficult to get right. It looks like a lot of the reviews for the cafe are poor, so it might be time for M&S to see what's going wrong at this branch.

Been to the meadowhall cafe this afternoon, hubby ordered a ham/cheese toastie, unfortunately there was mustard in it, he doesn't do mustard/ sauces at all, spoke to a lovely lady (shoulder length blonde hair) she immediately asked what replacement he'd like, chose a sausage bap which he thoroughly enjoyed, and refunded the price difference, so thank-you so much, 👍

Called in cafe food and tissues on floor food stains on wall , no sauces with tray of tea , not normal M / S standard

Always slow and chaotic service in the cafe. Long queue to get served, then waiting over half an hour for one jacket potato. Painful and terrible

Good selection of food as always. However, we couldnt find any fresh chicken but loads of turkey. You can now use hand held scanners which are located at each entrance providing you have a Sparks card. A little difficult to move around today but then again what to expect the day before Chridtmas Eve.

An excellent performance by M&S at Meadowhall today. It was v busy, but the tills were fully staffed, and the queues moved quickly. The staff in the cafe were particularly impressive. Although very busy, they remained friendly, good humoured and polite. A fabulous example of truly excellent management and a remarkable team performance.

Mens section, no one available to serve hanging around for ages, lady called cameron looking and ignoring the fact customer waiting to pay at the til. Had to get another lady off footwear to come and serve who was nice. Cameron if your fed up of your job, quit and let someone else do it who is more appreciative and provide better customer service. I’d sack you on the spot if you behaved like that with my customer.

It’s not what it used to be, the cafe is overpriced and the quantity and quality is very poor, the clothing on website are basically impossible to find in the store, also their is no assistants available to help.

Popped into the M&S cafe ... The advertised pictures of the bacon sandwiches looked to be very tempting & excellent value .... be prepared for a shock !! They're miniscule & at £4.50 they're way overpriced, even the bacon is wafer thin, 99p would be a more realistic price.

Lots of items of clothes to buy, staff friendly

Met a friend for lunch we ordered the jacket potato they only had cheese filling which we weren’t bothered about but as it was the only option had to have it. We waited ages for them to arrive. When they were brought to the table both potatoes were cold!! Very poor Marks and Spencer’s won’t be coming for lunch again!

I went into M&S at Meadowhall today to look for a pair of trousers. I found two pairs and went to the changing rooms to try them on. Why did I bother? The changing rooms had clothes, cardboard and goodness knows what else everywhere. I could find a cubicle which didn't have items in it and there were no staff to ask. Absolutely disgusting.

Now has Unisex changing rooms ! Why ? I am not entering a fitting room where I have to pass ladies who quite often have a friend or relative in adjacent spaces and are clearly uncomfortable when there’s a male around. I didn’t feel comfortable so buying my trousers elsewhere!

Sam in the collection and reruns department was super helpful trying to find my order when it was delayed. Really appreciated his help, he was very patient and polite.

Same problems remain, painfully slow service, dirty, understaffed. No premium products or insensitive to visit either.

Last minute school uniform shopping Jayne on the till recommended the smaller fit for my tall slim son and was lovely with the packing etc and chatting Very pleasant shopping experience Thankyou

Had a truly exceptional experience in the lingerie department at Meadowhall. I felt I had entered a special, safe and supportive environment, at a distressing time in my life. I really had a virtual hug. Thank you so much. You should feel proud of your staff.
