Costa coffee in Ryedale

Popped in for an iced latte on a hot day was greeted with friendly service when ordering. Coffee was perfect and staff are a credit to the store

Came in a few weeks ago and the service was very slow, girl with mousey-brown hair on the till took her time, took me 10 minutes to get to the front of the queue and wasn’t greeted with much enthusiasm. Think her name-tag started with an S, maybe Sara? Manager was also on site and was very short and rude to customers who complained in store. She was also rude to the young lady making the coffees which was embarrassing to look at, as a manager myself this is not the way to treat your staff/customers. Someone needs a word with her.

Malton Costa branch was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Sarah who served me my drinks was lovely, and she made a great coffee. I will be back.

Costa Coffee in Malton is unremarkable in terms of decor and furnishings, albeit is roomy, clean and tidy. The coffees and service were up to the usual high standard. Not much more you can say really.

Staff friendly, but were short-staffed. The whole place looks tired. Chairs worn, some were torn and looked stained/ grubby. Disappointing as I love good coffee. 😔

Such a shame that this cafe isn't dog friendly! I won't be going back and neither will my colleagues. Malton was voted dog friendliest town in the UK and this anti dog policy is not helpful.

Got diarrhoea after not good by, hurt would not recommend for people with sensitive bum holes like me and my bum Starbucks is better

fortnite is better tbh, rather spend my money on vbucks and get some super cool skins for my mum. ta for drinks tho mush

Why would anyone want to go to corporate costa coffee when you are in malton with a tonne of independent first rate coffee shops, delis and cafes ?????

Called in here twice for breakfast. The food/drinks were standard Costa (very good) and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem was that they didn’t stock very thing that was displayed on the price list (one type of Danish pastry.). They do a good pastry and coffee deal at breakfast time.

Dirty Staff very busy chatting together about nights out rather than talking to customers . Felt an inconvenience if I’m honest

On Monday 8th July me and my family were shopping in Malton in North Yorkshire , we ordered our food which took a while to arrive, but there was nobody queuing, went to the toilets walked pass the staff who were stood laughing and talking, the toilets smelt disgusting but were in a right mess, just did'nt smell fresh, staff who stand talking when the toilets smell like they did is unacceptable. Be warned don't visit the toilets and if the staff are talking to each other then walk out. The staff were unprofessional, and lazy.

I am a Costa girl at heart and just love their coffee. Stopped off in Malton and dropped in to Costa for a coffee. Nice large unit and staff were helpful and friendly - will be back

Nice staff, the place gets a little untidy quickly due to the people coming and going, but the staff rally to get things back in order quick enough and the service is pretty quick so that's a bonus. I wish tbey had more vegan options as they only seem to sell those rock hard vegan cakes bricks or those falafel type wraps. On the plus side, the staff are a helpful bunch.

Wish we'd got coffee to go as the place was, as always, full of prams and kids. Only 2 sugar free syrup options as well.You can't really blame Costa for the above however it doesn't make for a relaxing place to have a coffee hence the 2 stars.

Nicest Costa I have been to. Lovely staff who were all friendly, chatty and helpful. Peppermint tea and mocha were great.

El gran café sistemáticamente aquí - como es de esperar en una costa, supongo.Se vuelve muy ocupado con madres y bebés en las mañanas entre semana, de hecho, es más como una guardería a veces. evitar fácilmente, aunque si tienes sus horarios.Hay un montón de aparcamiento en Malton pero conseguir un espacio justo fuera normalmente es difícil.Hay un poco de espacio interior con muchas mesas y atraen a unos pocos miembros del juego portátil que enfermera I capuchino todo el día, sin embargo, como he dicho, hay un montón de mesas y tiene decente wifi así que por lo tanto no es un problema.El servicio es generalmente agradable y eficiente. A veces tienen que ser un poco más rápido limpiando las mesas ya que está bastante sucia a veces.

Decidimos tomar un café en la Costa no sólo porque nos gusta ya su café pero también porque estábamos 2 familias en un grupo y tenían una gran zona de cafetería. Estábamos en Malton para el tour de Yorkshire, así que fue muy concurrida, pero el personal tenía clavado con dos personas haciendo el café y el otro llevando a los pedidos mientras que otros 2 o 3 eran limpiar las mesas. Me esperaba una larga espera pero me sorprendió lo eficiente que lo conseguimos esa mañana. Bien hecho! El café era hasta su normalmente un gran nivel y en general que tuvimos. Experiencia de Arresto!

vió un Costa en Malton, apetitosos para nuestro café favorito, aparcamos y se puso a lo largo de la calle. Orden - una mediana llana blanca soja y uno mediano capuchino vainilla ... que pedimos consistente en Inglaterra. No debería ser un problema Todo un descubrimiento creo yo - desgraciadamente señora de personal con actitud dice 'no soy medio - sólo un pequeño'. "Por qué" nos pide?" "mediana soja no está en el menú' ella gruñidos. 'Puede hacer dos pequeños soja y traslado a mediano taza por favor?" "no". Supongo que no volveremos a Malton Costa aunque estamos alojados en las inmediaciones para 2 semanas :(

Metimos en un café con mi pareja mientras yo estaba en la zona. Como de costumbre el café y té era bueno en sus precios normales de Costa. El servicio era rápido, pero no tuve el personal amable y acogedor que no era genial. El café era limpio y ordenado en el lado positivo.
