The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Went in on a saturday afternoon & was busy but still found a nice quiet corner, service from app was quick & efficient. We had dinner & really enjoyed mine, i had a chicken burger & i enjoyed it very much & was stuffed. My hubby had the fish & chips but he wasnt overly impressed. Staff were nice & pleasent. The seating was bit uncomfortable so had to swap a few chairs before found the right one. The toilets must be one of the best ive been to, it was so nice. Will def return in area.

Great band on. The young ones. We are going back to watch another solo artist on Sunday. Watch this space...

Too noisy, the dj should be in a separate room, never going back

I walked up to the counter and the two staff members just carried on talking about personal issues. No welcome. Eventually took our order. Toilet is grubby, no water out of the tap hot or cold. Come on Costa you can do better than this. Very poor experience.

I wouldn't recommend you to eat seafood pie, because it doesn't have any inside. There were only 2 tiny shrimps. There should have been salmon and another fish, but we couldn't find it. There were only potatoes. The one with steak is better. You place the order somewhere else. You buy the drink yourself and bring it to the table. I think it's popular because of the location and environment.

I have just finished my third ever visit to this cafe. I have now been here for three consecutive Friday lunches. Thank goodness I didn’t consult Trip Advisor before coming otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered. Recent reviews aren’t good are they? My main observation is that recent reviews are also totally ridiculous. As you can see from my photos, the cheese and onion panini I ordered was packed with filling. The side salad is as fresh as can be and they even give you a few tortilla chips for good measure. The tea I ordered came with a full pot, and extra hot water - easily enough to make three strong cups of tea. The young ladies behind the counter have been friendly and polite on each occasion and the place is spotlessly clean. What more do some reviewers want? It’s a disgrace that a great local place like this gets maligned by fussy people who clearly have an agenda. Highly recommended

El hombre o el personal que nos diera contacto visual no nos serviría, excusa que nos dio de que trabajaban en ‘secciones’ aunque pasar de un lado a otro de la barra era su sección, echándonos de menos cada vez. Eventualmente se sirvió, tomó bebidas de una manera respetable y bebió fuera. De la nada salió una gerente ‘femenina’, y pidió hablar conmigo, me acusó de llamar al miembro del personal racista y nos pidió que nos fuéramos después de terminar de beber. Ni el hombre que debería haber servido se disculpó, solo argumentó, ni la mujer llamada gerente se disculpó. Su actitud fue repugnante, por decir lo menos, salió a la luz y en lugar de disculparse en nombre del personal o incluso reconocer que deberíamos haber sido servidos antes que otros (que eran todos blancos) hizo acusaciones y suposiciones. Definitivamente no es material de gestión, una desgracia de una actitud y genuina sensación de que esta mujer miembro del personal estaba siendo irrazonable. Se rió en mi cara y luego me pidió que no la señalara. Nos fuimos abruptamente. Seguridad era un joven que si decidimos empeorar las cosas no habría podido manejar la situación. Genuinamente la peor experiencia de bar que he tenido. El miembro masculino del personal solo necesitaba disculparse, pero discutió y luego la gerente que desafiantemente no es material de gerente fue solo patética en lugar de empática. Desgracia absoluta de una situación racista que no se manejó de manera razonable. Ojalá consiguiera nombres de estos dos individuos para poder expulsarlos, pero el hombre era un joven blanco de aspecto desaliñado y la gerente estaba muy fuera de su profundidad con la actitud de alguien que tiene derecho. Quejado aquí, así como la oficina central y las redes sociales. Genuinamente no puedo creer la experiencia que acabamos de tener. El racismo sigue existiendo incluso en los establecimientos de bebidas. Wow!

When ordering our food to eat in the cafe we were told that it would take about 30 mins until the food was ready (only soup and a cold sandwich) but the people that came 10 to 15 mins after us received their similar order straight away. In fact they had ordered, eaten and left before ours came. When it did come the soup didn’t taste of anything and the sandwich was so dry that I couldn’t eat it. We weren’t given any cutlery or sauces or told where they might be and had to queue up again to ask. After finishing our meal I went back to the counter to order a cupcake. I wasn’t asked if I was eating in or taking out so it was put in a paper bag, which I didn’t mind. I took it back to my table and started to eat it when an older lady from behind the counter came to our table to tell me, extremely rudely that I hadn’t paid the extra to eat it inside and that’s why it was put in a bag and not on a plate. Her manner was very curt and unnecessary for the extra pence that I hadn’t paid. I felt humiliated as she ‘told me off’ loudly in front of everyone else in the cafe. It was obvious that we had paid to eat in there from all our empty plates and drinks (paying £40+ ) and that I hadn’t done it on purpose. Customers really shouldn’t be treated so badly. I won’t be returning there and wouldn’t recommend it at all. There’s much nicer cafes with better staff in Haworth.

It's very quiet and it has a cosy space if you want to be away from the front door sounds.

Esta cafetería tiene un interior grande y muy agradable. Disfrutamos de dos blancos planos de excelente calidad. Que costó £ 3. 40 . El menú de café es grande e interesante.

Great selection of beers, decent bar food, plus a pool table.

So called ‘manager’ was extremely rude to me and my friends. Very disrespectful, will not be returning soon!

I have to say that this was one of the nicest, best value meals I've had in a long time. Well done, guys.

The Sea Horse Hotel is a large unspoiled Georgian hotel. The traditional interior is very attractive. There is a front bar, a separate parlour, with open fires and two other rooms. It is a Sam Smith's pub, so it has the usual range of Sam Smith's beers at very reasonable prices. The ones I tried were excellent. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Being a Sam Smith pub, there's no TVs, no music, no mobile phones, and no dogs. A nice cosy pub worth visiting.
