Crystal is such a credit to Costa. Hardworking and proactive anytime I see her on shift. I feel head office should be rewarding such grafters. Not many people go to work and do what they are expected. Crystal goes above and beyond for your customers. Ten out of ten ❤️

Well located in the middle of Skipton , we went in at 12 to watch the football at 12.30 , had a couple of excellent real ale pints and then our wives joined us ? Having visited the market . We had a light lunch which was good value for money Staff friendly and efficient , would recommend it

Bouncer was asking for £30 cash on the door to get in. Ridiculously over priced.

Waited over 40 minutes for Toasted sandwiches. When I spoke to the waitress to ask where our food was, I was told "Lots of people have ordered at the same time". I would have appreciated being told there was a delay when I ordered, so I could decide whether to wait or not. Not cheap for the standard of food and the excess wait was very dissapointing- I would not reccomend based on this experience.

Fantastic food. Burgers are great. A new dish, chicken waffle was tasty too. Welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Desayuné aquí dos veces durante mi reciente estancia en York. Muy buena comida y el personal es encantador. Son geniales sobre peticiones especiales. Pedí yogur y aunque no estaba en el menú, me dieron un tazón con el desayuno. Los pasteles eran muy frescos y sabrosos. El café es muy céntrico y fácil de encontrar.

Just arrived home from Mozzarellas. It was our 58th wedding anniversary and we decided to celebrate it with a meal. It was absolutely gorgeous, I had the seafood pasta and my husband had the Sea Bass. Both meals were delicious and the service was fantastic. Thank you . Tony Dreda and Rory the dog. VERY UNWELCOMING. Took a trip to knaresborough: like any human-being after a journey we were in need of a refreshing drink and of course the restrooms. My partner was bursting to use the restrooms so decided to use it first before ordering a drink. They ask for a donation which is compulsory if you haven’t ordered anything yet so should be called a FEE (go up and give them the fee) to use the restroom. However I did not use the restrooms myself and waited for him to come out so we could decide what to drink together. The lady berated me excruciatingly for simply standing silently, waiting…this could’ve been asked and explained nicely but no. If I did not want to order anything I would not have waited inside I would have simply stood outside in the sun a few steps away. It was extremely uncomfortable even whilst walking in I was being stared with judging looks by the man sat next to the bar. he could’ve been the landlord as there was no guest eating or drinking. BUT my mistake was not showing money first. I was tired and I have high levels of anxiety especially in new places and socially so I did not say anything and quietly walked out and waited outside whilst she carried on shouting things at me. This disrupted what was meant to be a nice day out to knaresborough. This is something that I did not forget about the day. She did not leave me a good impression of the people here. Would not recommend this place if you want a nice day out with peace of mind.

I had the New York sandwich, the menu says it includes pastrami, gherkins etc. Great use of menu trickery as pastrami can be singular or plural, I assumed the latter and then for £8 was greeted with a single slice of it in my sandwich. Calling it a gherkin and cheese sandwich would have been more honest.

First visit and very impressed. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Food was hot, tasty and good quality. Whole pub was clean including toilets. Easy parking at the side of the pub. Payment for parking needs but only 50p an hour.

A Tuesday lunch time so only 2 other people in. The staff were friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The two chicken skewers were OK but there wasn’t much chicken likewise the salad. The flatbread was hard and only minimal fries.Not worth almost £19. The beef in the steak sandwich was gristly but the chips were good and the fish in the sandwich was greasy. Would I return- probably not.
