The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Never been here before and a little oddly laid out. Landlady and locals seemed friendly enough but did feel like it was obvious we weren't local. Drinks were fine though and nice to see all the different styles of public houses

Came an hour away to take family out for a meal, food was nice but one waitress was rude when checking ID and pulling faces and being nearly 30 years of age... there was no please or thank you, ruined the atmosphere. Won't be coming here again based on this experience and being made to feel uncomfortable. The other waitress was nice though.

My husband and I popped in for breakfast this morning, while his Eggs Royale was delicious my “Mrs Fry’s breakfast” was the opposite. The sausage had obviously been reheated to the point of being burnt and so had the bacon which was so dry it made it difficult to put a fork in. The Rosti again looked reheated, it was dark brown and the edges were burnt. And to top it all only one pat of butter for the toast. If it wasn’t for the fact that it was my Husband’s birthday treat and I didn’t want to make a fuss I would have sent it back there and then. As it was I had to leave most of it.

Had coffee and walnut cake dry top was cooked for too long sat down to be frozen by the air con usually this cake is spot on total let down

Tuesday 4th February 2025 Tonight we came into this great old fashioned real ale pub A propper locals pub with unspoilt bar and interiors of pub for a great range of real ales kept well When in Rotherham, this pub is a must to visit. This pub is good, and even though the barman was not very nice with photos took its understandable.

Llegué a la cafetería con mi mamá y mi amigo y pedí dos paninis y té tostado. El té estaba aparentemente bueno, sin embargo, la “ensalada lateral” era un poco extraña, sin aderezo y la ensalada de col sabía caducada y completamente no comestible (viniendo de un ávido amante de la ensalada de col). Mi madre pidió un moca que sabía más a chocolate caliente y caliente, el líquido goteando por un lado. Ella me lo devolvió y pidió un capuchino que estaba bien. El brie de tocino y el panini de arándano (venían en un rollo de baguette) solo estaba bien, también el tocino era bastante graso. Sin embargo, cuando le contamos al personal sobre el estado de la comida, las jóvenes parecían bastante inexpertas e inseguras de qué decir, diciendo que “se lo harían saber a los chefs”. Y ese fue el final de eso. No hay planes inmediatos para volver corriendo.

Vinimos a brunch con nuestro perro y nos quedamos muy impresionados. Tenemos un anciano labrador con visión limitada y la camarera era maravillosa en la forma en que se acerca a ella mientras nos atiende. Pedimos las tortitas dulces y saladas (yo tenía la versión vegana y mi mamá tenía las salchichas) y estaba delicioso y muy bien presentado. Nuestros cafés eran preciosos y nos encantó el flamenco de chocolate espolvoreando en el capuchino. El café en sí es precioso y colorido con hermosas decoraciones.

We dropped into the Cornish Bakery on our visit to Whitby. It is in a lovely location on the harborside - seating inside is scarce as it is a small establishment but they offer takeaway option too. We were lucky enough to get a table inside. Service was easy, coffee was of good quality and the pastries were very tasty, all at what we felt were reasonable prices.

Brilliant staff. Great for a game of pool or Darts. Very nice relaxing area thrpugh back with working fireplace for the cold weather.

Qué lugar tan fabuloso nunca había estado para wark durante un número de años pero el negocio familiar nos llevó allí y vaya que joya de un hallazgo limpio amable con excelente comida y bebidas y la señora que nos atendió fue tan amable y atento : )

Fui a desayunar rápido y me impresionó mucho la comida. El desayuno vegetariano era delicioso. El café era delicioso y tienen más de 2 opciones para la leche, que es genial ya que la mayoría de los lugares solo hacen 2 . El servicio fue agradable. Bonito lugar si te apetece un desayuno vegetariano, diferente a otros lugares que hacen opciones vegetarianas. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar.

Tuvimos un tiempo increíble en el safari de vacas, Ash fue increíble y obtuvimos algunos buenos conocimientos de Helen también mientras pasabamos tiempo con los bebés! La comida y las bebidas en el granero eran increíbles y todo el personal era increíblemente amable y servicial! Lugar fascinante con mucha historia también, así que hay algo para todos

Great beautiful place, bar n locals are great Food is excellent Landlord Johnny is such a lovely host, totally looked after us! Our bedroom was clean spacious, bed was totally comfy Plenty of tea and coffee. Bathroom - was huge. Nice hot shower! In a beautiful location, we loved it here.

First time. Me and my daughter had breakfast. I can honestly say one of the best scrambled eggs I have had in a restaurant. Staff so pleasant and polite. Definitely will be back thank you
